Really nice, brand new tap room - I could even see a slice of the lake from my seat at the bar. There was also inside table options and outside patio seating downstairs. It wasn't very crowded so service was pretty quick but not that friendly - I didn't learn anything about the ciders or the farm, just tasted them. Unfortunately, most of their sweeter ciders were not available so I tried a variety in my flight but didn't really like the dry ones (just personal preference). They were good pours though, and nice glassware/presentation. I also noticed in their fridge they had local cans of beer, so a nice option for those that don't want cider. It's also convenient to pop into the barn right next door to browse their other goods for purchase (like jams, etc.). Definitely worth a stop if you're visiting the area and enjoy hard cider. read more

Stop in the tasting room when visiting northern Wisconsin. The tart cherry cider is delicious. There is a cider for everyone from semi-sweet to dry. read more

Orchards, uncompromising quality, the commitment to doing things the hard way, the right way—all these things run deep in our roots. It is with that spirit, we created Apfelhaus Ciders for you. Our founders are the fifth generation to tend Hauser’s Superior View Farm, putting more than 100 years of heritage into every batch they produce. We craft our cider in small batches with produce grown, picked, pressed, and fermented on our farm powered by renewable solar energy. Our Taproom is open daily in the summer and limited hours in the winter.We are closed in November, but will reopen in early December. Please check back for hours. We don’t do these things because it is trendy or easy. We do it because we know you always have a choice. A choice to consume quality, artisanal beverages. A choice to seek local ingredients sourced from sustainable farms using renewable energy. A choice to support those doing what they love. You have the power to choose. So choose cider made right.
