I cannot say enough good things about Yeni and the entire team at Pollitos and the loving, warm,…read morefun and safe environment they have created for all children in their care. Our son was with a nanny until he was almost two-years-old and we were worried about the transition. Everyone at Pollitos was so caring with our son and communicative with my husband and me that in no time he was right at home and thriving in his new setting. In addition to Pollitos being bilingual, we also love that they provide homemade lunch and snacks and even take care of washing his bedding, and when needed clothes-, all making life so much easier for working parents. They also have a wonderful outdoor play area, weekly music lessons and for the class with the two year olds +, a weekly lesson sent to parents each week so we are aware of the lessons, topics and projects the children will be focused on. But most of all what we value most is how much the entire team there cares about our son. Yeni will follow-up on the evenings or weekends when or son is sick, check-in if he had a hard day, or guide us through transitions like potty training. We will be leaving in the fall as he moves to 3K and I'm already so sad to be saying goodbye!

Since he started in February, my son has blossomed in the care of Yeni and all the ladies there. While he was first adjusting, Yeni was constantly in touch with us, letting us know how he was doing and sending us photos, which we really appreciated. Over these past few months, our son has grown into a happy, talkative little guy, counting in both English and Spanish and saying so many words! He loves all the activities they do at Pollitos--music, singing, artwork, and outdoor play. Every day when I drop off my son, I feel like I am dropping him off with his sweet aunties who scoop him up with kisses and hellos. The teachers send adorable pictures each day so that we see him having fun. We can't say enough good things about this wonderful day care!

When we enrolled him, she sent a list of questions to help get to know him better. It asked about his favorite meals, games, music, his nap time routine, and any behaviors they need to watch out for. The space is quite beautiful, with Montessori toys and furniture throughout. The teachers are warm and nurturing. Since joining Maven Valley Prep our son has learned new skills like washing his hands, cleaning up his toys after he plays with them, and sitting to eat at his toddler table for the full meal/snack (versus needing to be in the highchair). His days are full of activities like reading, arts and crafts, music, free play, and outside time. I love that he spends so much time outside. Maven Valley Prep takes the children out twice a day on most days. They do stroller walks and trips to the playground. Polina is incredibly honest about our son's day as well. She's not afraid to say when he had tough moments, was injured, or fought with another child. I appreciate this so much as it helps me parent him better. They use Brightwheel to record activities and send tons of photos of him enjoying all of the different activities at daycare: eating delicious meals; coloring; painting; reading; going outside; napping; and playing in the jungle gym at daycare. It's so nice to check in during the day and see that he's having a blast, being well taken care of, and is so engaged in all different kinds of play.

What a blessing to have found Polina and her whole team, they take such good care of our daughter and she has learned so much. They are flexible and are open on most DOE holidays if you use the after care program. I could not be happier with MVP and you should know your child is being well taken care of.

She attended BB full-time - first in their infant room starting at 4 mos and then in the toddler program through 2.5 yrs (she only left for 3K). Eunice, the head of the program, is wonderful. She is accessible, helpful, always available for a phone call, and very hands-on, so she knows each child well. The staff in both the infant and toddler room are great. They supported our daughter (and us, as first-time parents!) through her many transitions (bottles to solids, crawling to walking, nap schedules etc). Our daughter was always excited to go to daycare, and was in good spirits at pickup. Other things we appreciated: private and spacious outdoor space where they also do winter and summer activities (splash pad, picnics, etc), food provided/included in tuition once your child starts eating solids (the convenience of this is not to be underestimated...), very flexible in general, photos/videos/messaging easily accessible via Bright Wheels app. BB is a special place!

Unlike other Daycare centers, their bright location, clean and safe backyard is a great place for her little one to run around. The organizers and day care staff are kind and attentive. There are also a lot of little extra touches that make moms feel like their kids are very well taken care of such as the daily reports. We are very happy that they have joined the neighborhood and will be keeping her there for a long time. My sister is pregnant and definitely plans to send her next baby there as well!

Man, sending your kid to be taken care of by strangers can be tough…read more I was fully prepared to hate every daycare we toured and subsequently convince my wife that I should quit my job and take care of our little girl full time, because no one was good enough to do the job.* But we loved Changing Tomorrow as soon as we walked inside. The location may not be ideal (for us or in general - it's located in a construction-clogged area of Downtown Brooklyn), but the facilities are excellent, and the people are wonderful. It is brand new, clean, and very well run. It's as if they took stock of the bougie parents in the neighborhood, and decided to create a daycare that offered everything they might want: Flexible schedules and long hours (open 7 am to 7 pm). Nurse on site at all times. Organic food catered for the kids (after they turn 1). Montessori methods that focus on the cognitive, social, and emotional development of your kid. Frequent activities like dance, soccer, finger-painting, and trips to the park when it's nice out. Best of all, they have monthly meetings where they take suggestions for what the parents would like to see from the school, and they actually try and implement those suggestions where it makes sense. (I wish those meetings weren't at 7 am, but I suppose getting up early is part of being a parent.) We're only a couple of weeks in at this point, but so far I have to say that the staff is just amazing. They put up with the minute and specific instructions we (and I imagine all parents) throw at them on a daily basis, and they are shockingly on top of the Brightwheel app that they use to keep us updated on our child throughout the day. Yesterday I got over a dozen photos and videos of my daughter, plus updates on her naps, feedings, diaper changes, and more. My kid still cries every time I drop her off, but it's really gratifying to see a smiling photo of her just a little bit later so I know she isn't crying all day. A huge thank you to Meridith the Education Director, Ms. Victoria, Ms. Janiece, Ms. Maria, and all the other wonderful people that work here. I'm constantly surprised that the teachers in the other age groups (that don't spend the day caring for her) recognize my daughter on sight when we walk in the door; it makes the place feel a lot more like a family. Thank you all for taking care of our daughter; I know it isn't easy, and we really appreciate how much you care. It makes it a little bit easier to leave her with you. ____________ *And also because I'm a progressive man that knows my wife can handle the breadwinning duties in this modern world. Definitely not because I'm tired of working and need to be supported in this lifestyle to which I've become accustomed.

Amanda was so wonderful and found a place for us at very short notice. We weren't expecting much -- we were just happy to have found somewhere so quickly -- but our daughter flourished and thrived under their care. Amanda was extremely communicative and seemed to know everything about how our child was developing. She is so great with the children and just an extremely positive force to be around. We never worried for a second when our daughter was there. The teachers were wonderful at helping her adapt to her first daycare, and then helping her transition to the toddler class. We got regular updates and photographs throughout the day that regularly made us laugh. They came up with really great ideas for activities. They calmed us when we were worried and gave us tips to help her along. The facilities here are amazing, but the staff are what makes it great. We HIGHLY recommend Changing Tomorrow Academy and will be eternally grateful for how they took care of our little one.

But I recently received news that a girl was fired from there. The same girl they wanted to keep over me. Same girl who be in her phone and falling asleep. I'm not here to talk bad on anyone but I tried to explain to eladia that I should still be working. They tried to say I was having T&A issues. Maybe in the beginning but I bust my behind getting up early to take my son to school and I would arrive before my start time. I've missed doctors appointments because they would say oh we need all staff here or we are neglecting the children. My attendance had improved tremendously. But God doesn't like ugly and karma is real. Not wishing bad on anyone but one location is pending and might close. The turnover at the job is crazy right now. Should've kept me cause I was doing the most and going far and beyond but I'm like that at every job I enjoy. But I'm upset because what about the family engagement and transitioning. So not only did you get rid of a teacher who's been at that location for years Ms.Lily. Then you sent another to Flatbush. You hired me. And brought another person along from a different location to help at Washington. Yea thank you cause we did need the help. But now September around the corner and then kids are not going to see familiar faces. I just hope they adapt well to the transition. For I really do miss those kids. I mean I did extra. Asked parents what language they speak at home to meet and greet in the am I'm their language. Sanitizing toys about 2-3x times a day. Actually interact with the kids. They got rid of a very good worker and I just hope they realize that. It's a great school but they don't care about their workers. I wanted to work one day but had to leave early I had my son home cause he had a fever. I still came to work and had to leave early cause the person had to leave for work. She did me a favor by watching him for the 3-5 hours however long I worked. They gone tell me that's not emergency. So my son suppose to sit in the house by himself ? I was confused. This from the same lady who said oh as far as the parents go. We don't gossip so we will tell them you left the job to care for my son and find a different career come fall when lord knows my heart and body wanted nothing to do but be there with them kids. I feel like I could've been a great asset to them and being apart of the team. I was even told from one of them they see I do the most active play with the children that's why they like me so like why am I fired. Oh yeah because a whole lot was going on that week and the boss got screamed on. But they love their workers who been there 5-14 years plus. So I can't argue with that and I don't wish anyone to lose a job. But things have been happening that week and I feel like she couldn't take the pressure. I was already laid off but was lied to about my start date so when I went to go ask questions she said I confronted her -_- really Eladia ! Ok. I didn't even scream at her but people be having whole screaming matches with her in the office. She fired me out of emotion and I don't appreciate that. All I wanted to do was talk and she didn't want to give me that. It's because they knew they lied to me and was in the wrong. And peel the image. She wasn't even trying to give me a copy of my receipt to get another job. Made me wait over 48 hours like wow.
