Our seven-year-old son has been taking lessons through the United Studios of Self Defense for the last 4 months, and it has been the best experience for him! Our son loves these classes and his confidence level has noticeably increased. In the beginning, there were times he was intimidated to go into a class with new people and wouldn't even get in the door. Now, he has no problem trying new things and having lessons with new kids...and that's after only a couple months. Sensei Gary makes the classes fun, while reinforcing the fundamentals of karate. The owner is a disgusting person who has no issue with screwing over ANYONE include people with DISABILITIES! No lower form of life. I started going to ussd Lenexa just to watch and observe and started to participate and it's been the best decision I've ever made. The people have become family and Sensei Gary really is a great teacher and brings the whole experience up to another level of enjoyment.
