    Seasonal breve latte
    Bethany G.

I've only had their coffee once, but I immediately loved it and thought it was delicious. I am someone who is very particular about my taste of espresso and theirs was delicious and blended perfectly with their flavors of the seasonal drink I had. Th theming of this coffee shop is unique and fun. There were plenty of seats to enjoy your coffee and socialize. The baristas did a great job of checking that I would be okay with everything in the drink that I ordered. From my one experience here, I will definitely be back to try more! You should definitely check it out and it's close enough to the interstate that you could stop by while on a road trip.

**INITIAL REVIEW** First and foremost, I have to say that the OG Apocalypse Coffee Roasters is surely an indie coffeehouse GOAT in south Brevard area, specifically Melbourne and Palm Bay. Probably starting out as a small coffee venue in the back of the room when it was originally Florida Discount Music (FDM) during Open Mike's, it is now one of the top coffeehouses in the area. With that in mind, it was only a matter of time until Apocalypse Coffee Roasters (which I will shorthand to Apocalypse for the remainder of the review) would expand. Fortunately for me, that expansion went south, closer to where I lived as the newest location is in West Melbourne right on the city boarder of Palm Bay (Palm Bay Rd.). Unfortunately for them, when I went, they seem to still be getting their working legs warmed up because there were some major misses I must address despite their hits. Even though an address is provided, Apocalypse is located in Palm Crossing, the "Publix Plaza" located on the northeast corner of the Palm Bay Rd./Minton Rd. intersection. If it helps, it is also the plaza the West Melbourne location for The Soup Shop is located. Upon entering, you definitely get a cozier version of the "Fun End of the World" vibe that Apocalypse has, especially with their robot mascot standing like a sentinel on the right side of the room. It seems all the menu offerings they have from their OG locales is also here. That makes me happy as I love their Apocalypse Salted Caramel Breve. I finally got their bagel with lox too. Apparently, I am not the only one who suffered this issue as another patron had to make a note of this issue too. I got my bagel and lox, but my drink was forgotten. Seriously, they forgot to make my drink. Here I am sitting and timing them to see how long it would take for them to realize their mistake... and they did not. After 20 minutes, which I burned typing both restaurant reviews and travel blogs on my accounts, I went up to them and asked them when I will get my drink. They apologized and go it out, but 25 minutes for one drink is very disorganized. As a Yelp reviewer that takes my reviews seriously, I will now dub Apocalypse in West Melbourne the locale I go to to get me in the ambiance and mindset of writing a critical one or two-star review whenever I have to. Of course I will order a drink simply to make sure to see if there is improvement and the issues suffered previously were simply "being green behind the ears".

10 stars for aesthetics and decor. I think the coffee is nothing special though aside from some cooly named specials. A large pumpkin cold brew with essentially vanilla-pumpkin cold foam was about $7.75. The large is truly tall and big. I don't think there was anything special about it though. The lost nights drink was okay, not a fan of the bitter and turmeric flavor profile. Free parking in the plaza lot. The cafe is overall somewhat small with a few tables and couch area. It has one private bathroom. Their WiFi is listed at the front and has a QR code.

Great quality coffee served from an knowledgeable, friendly staff.Cozy inside with a sci-fi theme. Chill rock music playing in the background. The caramel breve was sweet, salty, a little thick and just the right amount of espresso. I met the owners at a blueberry festival last year. Great local business owners. They also serve breakfast and lunch.

A terrific ambiance with delicious pastries. I had the orange iced croissant. Relatively small, but ample seating choices. And freezing cold inside. It was great.

Outstanding specialty coffee and friendly, efficient service. The shop is clean with a relaxed, inviting coffee-shop vibe--ideal for quick pickups or casual catchups. Consistently well brewed drinks and a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Apocalypse Coffee roasters has always been a local gem of the community. Ever since it used to be open mics the blues club and guitar shop, to now of their more recent explosion of their original location Apocalypse Coffee roasters, and now this being their secondary location. I've been to the original location more times than I can count, and now this location being even closer might be a more regular stop for me. They have rotating signature latte, which have always been delicious every single time I've gotten one. As well as their actual coffee beans are ones that I love to purchase via their coffee bags and make it home. This location is much smaller than the original location which can lead to a little bit of a louder atmosphere here. So just keep that in mind if you're looking for a very quiet place to study, bring some headphones. I got the breakfast blast bowl and it was delicious. Their chipotle sauce is always one of the highlights of that bowl to me. I also got the love potion signature latte, which was also delicious with oat milk. It's important note that this is a local business and not Starbucks, so don't anticipate less than two minute coffee ticket times. They don't have a drive-through, so don't hold them to the standard of drive-through ticket times. From visiting two separate days, I've already seen the team as a whole get significantly faster at making coffees and food. It is only up from here and I look forward to seeing how much better this location gets. P.S. - the merch has always been very cool here over the years. I own numerous T-shirts, hoodies, espresso cups, and many stickers already. Support local businesses.

So thankful I stopped at this place as the coffee was amazing. I will definitely be coming back the next time I am in town. The atmosphere is crazy cool too! There's so much to look at while you wait for your coffee to be made.

Visiting the area and looked on the internet for an organic coffee place. Imagine my surprise when I actually found a place! Jim and I both ordered the mushroom latte with espresso shot. It was quite yummy. They also had some great food choices as well. It was just too early for us to eat. I would return here if we were in the area again.

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile, especially since they opened one up by my house. I stopped in before getting on the road to visit family and I was not disappointed. I got the bagel with lox and a cold brew with oatmilk and vanilla and both were delicious! I'm so picky with coffee and I'm so glad I found a coffee place with organic coffee that tastes so good. Customer service was outstanding, the young lady behind the counter was very friendly and helpful especially when I was a little unsure of what to get. It's a great atmosphere as well, I liked that the lights were a little dim, would be a fun place to hang with friends. I'll be back! :)

I had a cappuccino and a croissant, and both were spot-on. The cappuccino was velvety with that perfect balance of espresso and foam, and the croissant was golden, buttery, and surprisingly flaky for a place not claiming to be a bakery. Huge thanks to Sean for giving me the behind-the-scenes tour. Learning about the roasting process and the different origins of their beans was actually super educational and added way more appreciation to the cup in my hand. Bonus points for the comfy seating, local art, and the fact that they roast their own beans in-house. **INITIAL REVIEW** I…read morefind it amazing that over the past five to ten years, coffee microbreweries have suddenly boomed in popularity. Though I can mention plenty of such businesses that fit the criteria of such success, the one in Florida that I have a lot of love for is Foxtail Coffee. Foxtail Coffee (which I will shorthand simply to Foxtail) is only eight years old. Founded in 2016 in Winter Park, FL, Foxtail has grown to have over 50 locations in Florida, Michigan, Nevada, Virginia, and Georgia, with the majority of branches in the Sunshine State (Florida). The one I went to was located in Melbourne, FL, on Babcock St. Though an address is given, it is best to say this Foxtail is next door neighbors to the original location of another Florida coffee microbrewery (which is of course local to Melbourne, FL since I stated it was the "original location"), Apocalypse Coffee Roasters. Foxtail's business locale is kind of small-ish, but cute in a cozy kind of way. The northside of the building has a covered patio decored with Christmas lights. Numerous outdoor tables and chairs are available for outdoor seating. The southside of the building has a beautiful mural painted on its wall. You definitely know it panders to Foxtail as it surely shows off its logo and stylistic use of rainforest greenery. If you think the outside looked cozy, go inside and you'll notice how tight of a space the place is. The two female workers in the bar area were really kind, and I enjoyed a coffee and a chocolate muffin. Overall, it was a good experience, but nothing that stood out compared to going to another coffee house. I cannot simply highlight the coffee alone as I have had Foxtail on its own before. I got myself a bag awhile ago, ground the beans myself in my grinder, and enjoyed a cup. And to be fair, anyone who makes their own cup of coffee should know how to make it the best for themselves, right? Ergo, my initial visit to this Foxtail, I will give it an a-okay rating of three out of four stars. It was definitely good, but it also has that "corporate chain" feel that places like Starbucks also has. If this Foxtail stays consistent, however, I will make sure to give them their fourth star. Until then, a good place to go, but if I could, I would defiitely opt for something considered more local to support small businesses in the area... especially Apocalypse Coffee Roasters right across the street.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more In Brevard County, there are a small contingent of independent coffee roasteries that have made a name for themselves on the Space Coast. Three of them, however, have attained more traction for being featured in the Florida Cafe Passport, a passport-like booklet featuring the best of the best food and drink establishments in the U.S. For this review, I wanted to highlight Bold Cup Coffee Roasters as one of the three. I will stress I decided to add some traction for their "newer" location because 1.) it doesn't have as much of the foot traffic as its initial location and 2.) I actually partake in the second location more for being closer to home. With that in mind, I can only review and compare Bold Cup Coffee Roasters (which I will shorthand simply to Bold Cup for the rest of this review) to other coffee places and to other independent coffee shops/roasteries/etc. Ergo, Bold Cup's Babcock St. location is okay, as in it is changing and improving from its initial run solely as a roastery to actualy being their second location. With that in mind, you will not get the service, availability, and selection as the original Bold Cup location, but they know that as they continue to improve. As a matter of fact, they made it known the process can be a bit on the slow side given the responsibilities needed for this location, only Alex - the owner/operator of Bold Cup - is so far the only one operating at this location. Though an address is provided, Bold Cup is located in the Nasa Plaza, the same plaza that also has Arcade Monsters Melbourne, Twin Rivers Vintage, and Radial. Bold Cup is the size of most of the smaller strip mall stores, big enough for a small crowd. Before walking up, know Bold Cup is only open on weekdays in the morning. Upon entering, there is a seating area and an ordering area with all the coffee roasting equipment in view, but Alex is renovating and improving the location slowly but surely. There are no real food selections, so take that into account if you are expecting a "complete breakfast" for your morning meal. However, the coffee selections Bold Cup does have are pretty good. I suggest the tres leches latter, a latte-style coffee sweatened with the "three milks" used in tres leches cakes. NOTE: For those who don't know the "tres leches" are evaporated milk, condensed milk, and whole milk (sometimes substituted with cream). Prices for the coffee selections are a bit on the high end compared to the chain coffee shops like Starbucks or 7 Brew, but since all the coffee is made from scratch and with that mom n' pop heart, it makes sense. And to be frank, the price is actually LOWER than others mom n' pop coffee shops, especially the tres leches latte. That one is a steal. Ultimately, I have to be fair in my review despite knowing Alex. Given its current condition but its potential to grow, I am giving the place three out of five stars as in a-okay but not bloody excellent. As time goes by, I am sure Alex will update this Bold Cup location to recieive a four star rating. And if they are consistent in the care and niceness Alex showed during my intitial visit, I will definitely grant the final star for consistency, at least when it comes to "the people" a.k.a. Alex.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more While heading home from my work in Palm Beach Gardens, I decided to really explore Indian River County for coffee shops and houses. Given the fact I work overnights, coffee shops/houses/roasters and kava bars are quickly becoming my "after work bars" of choice. Doing a quick search here on Yelp, I found Beeb's Beans was located close to another coffee bar I like, Cafe Latte Da, as well as being a business in The District. I just had to check it out... and I am happy I did, for many reasons which I will explain in this initial review. Though an address is provided, as mentioned above, Beeb's Beans (which I will shorthand simply to Beeb's for the remainder of this review) is located on the south end of The District. It is one of the businesses that occupy the "cute blue house" at the south end of Village Square Dr. before it intersects into US-1. There is a front and back entrance into this very small and adorably quaint coffee shop. Not much room to sit in which probably 10 people at most can sit and enjoy the ambiance at a time. Speaking of ambiance, it is quite simplistic, but there are little slivers of personality, the kind you only get being loved among the community you live in. And speaking of community, apparently Beeb's is one of these mom n' pops that support other mom n' pops as well as people who want to showcase their talents. For example, their bagels are made fresh daily from a local bagel shop in Vero Beach, Coastal Bagels. As for their baked goods and sweets, they are made by their friend Michelle. Take note that Michelle isn't a baker by profession. As a matter of fact, she's a hairdresser. Yet, she has a talent for baking and bakes the sweets and baked goods for Beeb's. So what does Beeb's actually make? Well the coffee and drinks. I had their flat white, iced chai latte, and the asiago cheese bagel with two Philly cream cheeses. My regards goes to Coastal as they make a fantastic asiago bagel. As for the flat white and iced chai latte, both were good but I will stress they don't stand out on their own from others. But still, they are good drinks, and there are other drinks I need to try out in future visits. Ultimately the owners, Rob a.k.a. Beeb and Kira created something special here. Beeb's is a community coffee house that is known, loved, and supports the community, something I truly admire amongst mom n' pops. Ergo, I will give them an initial rating of four out of five stars. I am sure Beeb's will remain consistent if they've been here for a decent number of years, but I must stay the course of my procedure and visit a few more times before I give them their fifth star for consistency. Still, I would definitely suggest people try out Beeb's if not for the community feel of being welcome home along with good coffee and good food. Michelle makes the scones and sweets. Bagels from Coastal Bagels in Vero. Kira and Rob........
