I had passed by this place so many times but never stepped inside. I figured it was time I gave it a try! I placed an order to go and it was ready for me when I arrived. I ordered an everything bagel with sausage, egg, and cheese, and it didn't disappoint! The everything bagel has the perfect taste. It wasn't over or under seasoned, and it brought together the taste of the contents very well. I would recommend this spot for anyone who is beachside Indiatlantic and wants something quick and filling! I'll definitely stop by again soon and probably order the same exact thing because I loved it. read more

It costs over $8 for a bagel with one slice of extra cheese. I am not sure that is worth it. I don't even get coffee with that. It is pretty sterile with aluminum chairs and really lacks character for a little bagel shop on the beach. Sometimes service is spot on, other times you wait a while for a toasted bagel. read more

What a terribly underwhelming bagel sandwich. For some place called Salty there wasn't a speck of seasoning salt or otherwise on anything except the top of the bagel. Very bland and not enjoyable especially for nearly $10 It was super clean and super friendly staff!! read more

The vibe and smells are so good I even got the sandwich for later. Oh!! Did I mention they have YooHoo?! Love this bagel shop. I come by every time I visit. Twice this time. Clean and bright, it is very welcoming and nicer on the inside than the outside would lead you to believe. Surf videos playing on the TVs. Service is friendly and efficient. Counter order and they bring it out to your table. The selection of sandwiches and bagels are generous without being overwhelming. Hit this place toward the end of the day for them. 1pm. Not knowing the concept I thought I could get a sandwich. You can but everything is on a bagel. Big dining area but I think they specialize in take away. No trash can in the dining area to throw my trash in. Young guy who took my order was nice enough but the gal who made my sandwich is obviously the brains as she helped him get all the info she needed to make my sandwich. I assume he was new and props for him working. Not a big fan of everything on a bagel. read more

Every time we go to Cocoa I cannot help but stop at the Salty Bagel! Their bagels taste soooo fresh, soft and so delicious! I am addicted to the cinnamon bagel with the cinnamon cream cheese. Salty Bagel, 1124 A1A Satellite Beach, FL 32937 4 Stars The original Salty Bagel opened at this location in Satellite Beach, FL in 2021. Since then, they have expanded and added two more locations, one in Cocoa Beach and one in the bustling city of Melbourne, FL. This gives us two possibilities to consider. Either they are excellent and have been so successful in a short period of time that they can afford to open more locations, or they may have an inexperienced business manager and are expanding too quickly, similar to what happened with Crumbs Bake Shop. Do you remember them? As I pulled into the crowded parking lot, I could gather that it was more likely the former. Now, let's start with honesty. Not many places in Brevard County actually make their own bagels, except for Salty Bagel, and boy, what a difference! They offer a wide variety of fresh bagels made on-site every day. Today, Lola is behind the counter, and despite being from Gen Z, she has quickly climbed to the top of my generational customer service list. While taking my order, she spontaneously said, "Iced coffee is a refreshing drink on a hot summer day." This brought a smile to my face as I nodded in agreement, knowing that she wasn't just reciting company jargon. Along with the Iced Coffee, I requested a Salty Bagel, a Nova Breakfast Sandwich, and a Bacon Egg and Cheese bagel. The iced coffee truly did put a smile on my face. It was not only incredibly refreshing, as Lola suggested, but also packed with flavor. The Salty Bagel with cream cheese was simply amazing. I don't think I've ever had a bagel that was so fresh and delicious before. If I had just ordered a variety of bagels and cream cheese, this would undoubtedly be a 5-star review. However, that's not the case. The ingredients in the sandwiches were mediocre at best, while the bagels themselves were wonderfully baked and toasted. It seems that the owners invested so much care and money into the bagel-making process that they made a small compromise on the quality of the sandwich fillings. What I mean is that the salmon, red onion, capers, and tomato on the Nova were only average, while the bagel itself was outstanding! The same can be said for the Bacon Egg and Cheese sandwich. I've had better-tasting bacon at health food places, believe it or not! In conclusion, I can confidently say that Salty Bagel offers the best bagels in the Tri-County area, without a doubt. However, I would recommend enjoying them with cream cheese and skipping the sandwiches until they improve the quality just a little bit. read more

Have been twice in the last week, and have to say I am less than impressed. The first visit, I ordered a ham, egg and cheese on a sourdough bagel. The quantities of filling were so skimpy, it reminded me of something you'd find at an airport kiosk - very thin piece of egg, and a single slice of ham. Thought maybe I just got a bad one, so gave it another chance. Got the Heart Attack (bagel sandwich with ham, sausage, bacon, egg and cheese) plus spinach and tomato. Again, the quantities were much slimmer than expected. Very little bacon, single small slice of ham, and very thin egg. I got an iced coffee the first visit, and that was also terrible. Took about 4 sips and dumped the rest. The shop currently has a pungent smell inside too... can't quite put my finger on it. The woman at the register stated she had not noticed, but my friend and I couldn't believe that. It is strong. read more

Went to the new location by Suntree- around 11am- ordered two sesame bagel and was told they won't sell them as they are saving those for the lunch rush. I asked I'm here and wanting them, I was told again- no we charge more for sandwiches and we are low on bagels and will save these for the lunch rush. Needless to say I just went down the street to bagel 13 and got a sesame there. How does a new establishment say no to a sale that's right in front of them for MAYBE a sale for a few bucks more later??? Well they lost a customer for sure. Make more bagels- it's a Saturday! I have tried a number of different selections from their breakfast and lunch menus. Never disappointed!! Always a smiling face at the register, and it's great to get my order in a timely manner. Coffee is tasty and at a temperature you can enjoy it with your selection of bagel. Definitely decorated as a beach salty bagel. Tables & chairs for sitting with friends and enjoy visiting. My favorite is the Beach Break. Love, love love this great addition to our little town of Satellite Beach. read more

My daughter and I went to Salty Bagel yesterday for the first time. I guarantee it won't be our last visit!! We were warmly greeted upon entry by both the staff and the wonderful aroma of fresh baked bagels! The place is open, airy, and well lit. Any mobility-impaired person would be able to move around without difficulty. The menu is easy to read, and the selection is varied, but not such that it is confusing. The cashier was helpful and courteous. Plus, the staff assembling your selection are within earshot, so there's good communication. Most orders we saw being placed were being walked to the customer just as they were sitting down. I had the Asiago Bagel with plain cream cheese (Don't mock me!). There was AMPLE cream cheese, so I'll likely get it on the side next time. On to the bagel itself! The crust of the bagel had a wonderful gloss and crispy surface, and the level of toasting was just what I wanted in a double-toast. But the best part was the bite! A perfect crunch from both the crust and the toasted surface. This was followed by the pillow-soft texture of the inside. This is a moment that I'm replaying in my mind even now! Each bite delivered that same symphony of crunch and softness. The flavor of the bagel and cream cheese was wonderful as well! My daughter had the "egg everything" bagel with plain cream cheese. She enjoyed hers also, and was impressed that the topping was on every surface of the bagel - even the bottom! We also got a blueberry bagel with plain cream cheese to go for my wife, which she enjoyed tremendously! We work hard to support local businesses, especially those who are on the beach where we live. We've found another here with the Salty Bagel!! read more

Soooooo thankful a CLEAN bagel place has opened beachside. The bagels and sandwiches are fantastic. It's only been open a week, but I have found myself eating multiple meals here a few days so far... can you say we've been bagel deprived? A few personal observations- they coat both sides of the everything bagel with seasoning. Fantastic. The eggs for their breakfast sandwiches are cooked on a grill to order - not microwaved. The sausage for the bagel sandwiches ACTUALLY MATCHES THE DIAMETER OF THE BAGEL which is more rare than you might believe. read more

Welcome to the neighborhood Salty Bagel! Stopped by for our first time today & the food was DELICIOUS! I had a pork roll, egg & cheese on a garlic bagel & it was awesome, authentic NY/NJ style & bagel was terrific & fresh. My wife had the beach break on a garlic bagel too & loved it. Tomato, avocado, spinach, bacon & cream cheese YUMMY! We had 2 croissants too, 1 cinnamon baked & 1 chocolate baked, they were AMAZING! Staff was friendly & service was quick. I went in today for the grand opening and everything was DELICIOUS! I ordered the Egg White Dun Rite on an everything bagel and ever element of the sandwich was perfect. My only regret is not going here two years ago when a friend recommended. If you don't know New Jersey makes the best bagel and that's all they are good for (xoxoxo) and I cannot believe I can get a New Jersey bagel made fresh right here in Florida every morning. It's the best of both worlds. Great staff, a very clean restaurant and friendly environment. I have bought two dozen this week and handed them out to friends and they loved! The Culinary Institute of America. Our daughter actually graduated from their Baking & Pastry program in San Antonio, so we were already inclined to give the place a try. But I digress. The moment you walk in, the smell of bacon smacks you right in the face. In the best possible way. So. Dang. Good. We stopped in on a busy Sunday afternoon. The dining room was hopping. A few tables could have been bussed a little quicker, my chair needed a quick swipe-down before I sat, and there were a few chips hanging out on the floor. Normally I'd notice those things more, but then the bacon smell hit again and suddenly none of it seemed quite as important. I ordered two perfectly cooked over-medium eggs, sliced tomatoes (instead of potatoes), and a biscuit. I chose the biscuit over toast or an English muffin with absolutely no intention of eating it. My plan was to take it home for one of the kids. Then I took one bite. Friends, this was THE best biscuit I have ever eaten in my entire life. I don't throw around statements like that lightly. If you visit Banana River Cafe and order absolutely nothing else, order the biscuits. They deserve their own Yelp page. My husband got what I think was called the Power Bowl--a delicious-looking pile of rice, beans, carnitas, and all the ingredients that make a great burrito bowl. Our son absolutely housed his French toast. Our daughter ordered the Rosemary Chicken Salad Wrap with pasta salad. I sampled the chicken salad. It had a whisper of rosemary. A polite suggestion of rosemary. A rosemary cameo appearance. If you're going to call it Rosemary Chicken Salad, I'd personally vote for a little more rosemary. My daughter loved it, though. She also loved the pasta salad but wasn't a fan of the Parmesan sprinkled on top. If Parmesan must be involved, let's keep it to the kind that comes from a block and not the green plastic shaker. Just my two cents. The staff was friendly, service was great, and soda refills appeared before we even had to ask. I also loved the local artwork displayed throughout the restaurant. Every piece has a price tag, so if something catches your eye, you can literally take it home with you. Great food, great service, incredible biscuits, and enough bacon aroma to improve your mood instantly. We'll definitely be back.

The Southern Benedict with hash browns and the Alaskan Benedict with grits were both excellent--classic comfort food done right. The Breakfast Bundle with chocolate chip pancakes was a big hit... although those pancakes disappeared so fast I'm not convinced we didn't imagine them. The food came out hot and fast (always impressive when a place is clearly busy), and the coffee and soda refills for the kids kept coming without us even having to ask. Service was friendly and welcoming the entire time. The restaurant was clean, there's outdoor seating available, and the whole place just has that "great local breakfast spot" feel. Safe to say our breakfast search is officially over. And if the packed parking lot didn't convince us before... the food definitely did. We'll absolutely be back.

Maybe you can see the beach if the wind is blowing hard enough and the greenery across the parking lot moves out the way for a brief second but you have a full view of the parking lot for the beach in the rear seating area. Maybe I'll come back and give it another chance and order something else but with so many other breakfast spots, this one won't be at the top of my list to return to.

He never had it before but he did try one then grab another then I taught him to take the crusty French bread and soak up the garlic butter. We both ordered the beef bourguignon which is my favorite French dish. We both enjoyed it but it was not as rich and flavorful as I have had in the past. For dessert I had the chocolate mousse which was yummy and could not finish it all. Richard had the perfectly cooked and well presented lava cake which I will get next time when I come. The icing on the cake was that a family was eating dinner with grandparents, sons, Daughers and grandchildren. As the grandmother went to the restroom she stopped by to say what a joy it was to watch the two of us talk and enjoy each other. The grands who were 7 and 5 also chatted with us and asked me lots of questions about the places that I have visited. The son and DIL were from the country of Jordan. They were all delightful. He gave me some advise about Poland. When we left the restaurant, there was a full moon over the ocean which added a special accent to the day. At 10:20 tonight there is a SPACE X rocket ship blasting off from Cape Canaveral. We will watch it from the beach!!!!

My wife's country fried steak was delicious and generously portioned. She ate about a third of it with the intent of taking it home, as it was delicious. Being a Good Samaritan, I devoured her leftovers, and saved her the hassle of a to-go box. Fun, welcoming vibe, great food, and efficient service, all wrapped into a perfect little breakfast spot. Really happy to have this gem right here in the neighborhood, and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend. It is conveniently located in the Lowe's shopping center plaza on A1A in Indian Harbour Beach.

My wife and I both had the Breakfast Special "Eggle", which was an Egg, Meat and Cheese on a bagel. We chose bacon, though my wife skipped the cheese. My Everything bagel that I selected was particularly good. This was a great deal as the bagel was bundled with coffee for only $5. Overall, our expenditure for food, drink, tax and tip was about $20. This was a terrific deal by today's standards. The service here was excellent. The people working were efficient and quite friendly. If you are in the area and looking for a moderately-portioned cost-effective option compared to pricey hotel breakfasts, this is a pleasant choice. It's got a great local vibe with good food.
