She didn't ask me how I wanted it styled at the end, and did not give me the cut I asked for. The communication was very poor and because of that I was left with not what I wanted and unhappy with the results. I understand things come up, but I feel I was a little pressured into last minute changing the time and stylist. I never have a negative experience here and my mother and I have been coming here for decades. I am just not happy with the cut or service. I tried talking more about my hair so we could get on the same page, and I am use to the stylist giving tips or asking more about my hair. We talked about short layers framing my face that stick out of the pony tail as well which is what I asked for, but that wasn't done either. This time My technician added one of the pro boost hydration formulas after my color had been processed and rinsed. Oh boy, what a difference! Silky curls for me! They asked me to sit on one of the chairs and gave me a robe while the colorist is finishing up a customer. They took a picture of my hair and suggested a color that I agreed with. My scalp is super sensitive but was surprised that their solution did not give me that burning feeling on my scalp. After 40 minutes, someone else rinsed my hair and she was very nice. After the rinse, they walk you to where the blow dryer is and you have to dry it yourself or pay $50 extra for them to blow dry for you. They give you products you can use for your hair while brow drying. I like this place but will only be a back up and will go back to my usual stylist when she comes back from leave.

When I expressed my concerns, she said it was "pretty," but that doesn't change that it wasn't what I requested. She offered for me to come back, but after this experience, the trust isn't there. She also required me to pay through Venmo as a Friends payment even though this was a business service, which leaves customers without any protection. If this happens to you, you can report it directly to Venmo, and you can submit concerns about improper business practices through the IRS's public tip form.(IRS Form 3949-A -- Information Referral) Based on my experience, I wouldn't return.
