Before enrolling here, he was in an in-home daycare, and the positive change we saw in his confidence, growth, and overall happiness was almost immediate. Each morning he is genuinely excited to go to school, and it brings me so much comfort knowing he feels safe and supported by the people around him. He is a very energetic and curious boy, and the teachers have always met him with patience, understanding, and encouragement. They take the time to truly know each child, helping them grow not only academically but emotionally and socially as well. Watching him build friendships, learn new skills, and come home proud of what he has accomplished has been incredibly special for us as parents. The current staff are truly amazing. Their kindness, communication, and dedication create a warm environment that feels more like a community than just a preschool. We feel deeply grateful to have found Little Ones, and it has become such an important extension of our family. I was totally worried about leaving my 12-month old at daycare, but Wendy is down to earth, experienced (been running a home daycare for something like 25 years), very easy to connect with, and was one of only two daycares I toured that cared about feeding the kids healthy food...plus, she understands special needs like gluten intolerance. The location is great for us (down the street in Rincon Valley) and the hours work for those of us that work long days (open 7:30am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday). When she takes vacation, she always gets a substitute so there aren't any lapses in care. And of course the most important part is our son likes her too. She has a big yard that the kids play in and it's a very casual atmosphere for kids to be kids. The kids also do activities -- coloring alphabet letters, projects to celebrate holidays like Father's Day, and other fun things. She has rules for the kids (like no running in the house) and she is very consistent in applying those rules which helps kids to know what is expected of them. She and her family are also very environmentally conscious which I like -- solar panels, rainwater catchment barrels, fruit trees. I highly recommend Playtime Daycare.

We brought our son when he was 9 months and then a couple years later we brought our daughter at 6 months. They always walk right in and are so happy when we pick them up. I love that they cook all their food so we know they are eating healthy. They speak Spanish and English throughout the day and it's clear that our kids have picked up a few things. She is flexible, working with us around doctor appointments and vacation time. Any concerns we had she would talk openly with us about. Our son has severe eczema and she always took extra care to make sure his skin stayed hydrated and clean. Him and our daughter developed food allergies and she always made sure not to keep those items around. She would also take extra care after doc appts, knowing they just had shots. Maggy's Home Daycare is a beautiful home environment that is full of fun and play. I would recommend anyone to this place if they are looking for big family vibes.

In the month we were there she was sick 3 days with very short notice. She advertised on Facebook a price of $80 in August. In September she told us she normally did $110 but because we were putting 2 kids in she would do $90. A month in she tried to raise our rates to $110 because she claimed she was unable to take breaks because our children didn't nap well. She was alone except for occasionally her teenage daughter. When we told her a $20 increase per kid per day ($480 per month) was a bit steep and could we meet in the middle at $100 she suddenly said "she lost her helper" despite telling us she didn't have a helper and could no longer take care of our boys. I'm not going to lie my boys can be a handful: 1 has autism and the other one is being evaluated for autism. We told her our autistic child had ABA for 2 hours per day which she said she was fine having there. After 2 weeks she said they could only do 1 1/2 hours instead of 2. Then she said one couldn't come at all because she and a parent didn't like a man being around: despite being fingerprinted and trained to work with young kids. All in all i would recommend going elsewhere unless you have no options. I wish i had.

It was so challenging to select a daycare provider for our infant - I think I toured every option for infant care in Petaluma. As soon as I met Katy I felt a sense of ease. She sat down on the floor of her home with me and simply got to know us! She shared her history and philosophy with me and I felt so much different than I had during tours at other places. While I still wasn't thrilled to be leaving my son, I truly felt calm about leaving him in her care. 18 months later I can tell you that Katy has become an extended part of our family! I trust her completely with my son. She's patient, fun, smart and so engaged with the kids. She fosters an environment that I try to emulate in my home - it is safe and clean, she creates toys and activities specifically for each child based on their needs and interests, serves nutritious and delicious foods, and makes the children know they are cared for! I couldn't ask for more of a partner in a caregiver for my son. And, not only are my husband and I big fans of Katy, my son loves her to pieces!
