I had a wonderful young man named Austin help me two days before Christmas. I don't know his last name, only that he is recently married. He was so kind, patient and helpful when I was completely distraught. My banking information has been hacked into and the bank wanted my iPad and phone scrubbed before they would allow my online banking again. All the week of Christmas! Austin took a very long time with me in helping me clean up my devices and encouraged me along the way. I am in my 70s, unable to remember passwords and was very upset. As with all Apple stores this one was brightly lit, very clean, and Apple reps everywhere. There was even a security person in the front and rear of the store. As I entered the store an Apple rep immediately asked if I needed any help, which I declined. I perused iPads, the MacBooks, iPhone covers and iPods ... with each section I noted the same Apple Rep about 10-steps from me. When I was looking over the iPods I turned and asked if he was following me. He answered no, that he was simply waiting for me to indicate when I needed assistance. I left !! My wife bought a new iPhone 17 and the young lady who set it up locked her out of the phone, because she put in the incorrect password. She went in the past Monday to reset the phone. Unfortunately, the person who was there to assist her called out sick. Not a problem. The "manager", Darren, who she asked if anyone else that could help her. He was rude to her, stating she did not have an appointment, which she in fact had. Stating he had no one else available to help her. I will not tolerate this prick to disrespect my wife. If he in indeed the "manager" and speaks to customers in this fashion. HE SHOULD BE FIRED. In the next few days, I will be going to the Apple store and have the issue taken care of. read more

The worst process for canceling the subscription I've ever experienced. Your representative Manoj was horrible and ignored my request to speak to a manger and still couldn't help me cancel. I have been to this location several times for phone repairs and to purchase accessories. The store is usually very busy, but at certain times you can get help with little waiting. It is best to make an appointment for phone diagnostics and repairs. I have found the staff to be very welcoming, easy to understand and more than willing to help. Everyone that has helped me knew their business. Whether a phone repair or purchasing a product, the staff seemed eager to explain things in a way easily understood. The store is brightly lit with many tables and chairs to sit with the technician helping you. Products are on shelving along the walls. The store design is clean, modern, and uncluttered. Located inside the Brandon mall there is plenty of parking. This Apple store is consistent with the quality of the company. read more

It was pleasant but like everything i do? I always plan ahead of time that way i can just shop n get put faster. Especially in very busy shops. If you ask me? I could've done this through the app but i wanted to have human interaction that day. Never been inside an apple store before. The second u walk in you get jump lol but not in a rude way just friendly staff. I was directed to a table after asking about watches. I already own the ultra 2 and wanted to give my kid something nice but not that crazy. Lol i kid you not, the ultra 2 is like a mac book on your wrist. The ai is nice touch. But i bought it for the gps, ODO and Baro. When i get better im going back to the ocean and trails, wanted something that would give the family a peace of mind if i ever go MIA. They can fond me no prob. So i got my kid the apple watch 10. Its legit the ultra minus the super fancy stuff. I just wanted something he could use as an assistant n hands free option to his phone or wallet. I swear he is alot like me. Forgetful when stressed and brilliant when inspired. If it wasn't for the watch? I'd be stranded in places I'm not sure where i was. Watch gets me to my car, backtracks my steps, enlightens me with answers to wacky questions asked. Battery life on both is great. But the 10 takes way less to charge. This Apple store open a few day ago. They finally ready for the customers. All walk in will need to be checked for temperatures. A mask will be issued before enter the store. If the line is long. They will set up appointment at the spot and have you come later. Our appointment was 50 minutes later. So we went to eat and come back for the appointment. We were here to get apple SE with trade in. My wife pick the fire red color. Nice color. The store clerk was professional. While we were in there, six feet is maintained. Our trade in was easy. And we get an unlocked iPhone. With the purchase of iPhone, we got a Apple TV free for a year. We were able to transfer all data before we hand over the phone. The transition was easy. Arrived at Apple Store to get hubby's phone checked. We made an appointment in advance for this visit. When we arrived there were 2 lines with Apple Employees all about. They took your name and and directed you to the correct line to wait. When you get on line a woman is there taking everyone's temperature. We waited in line to be called into the store. We waited for about 15 minutes after our appointment time. We can't complain all things considered! The Apple Store is limiting the amount of people in the store at a time due to social distancing. The store is also keeping everyone who enters 6 feet apart. One more important requirement they have, is that you wear a face covering to enter. I have to admit, it looked odd with so few people in the usually packed Apple Store. We were directed into the store and to a nice young genius named Austin. Austin hooked up the phone and proceeded to work his magic! Austin was able to fix hubby's phone issue and within a half hour and we were on our way. Needless to say, hubby very happy he doesn't have to purchase a new phone yet! read more

Recent experience was very helpful. One has to bring patience and a "join the group experience" attitude as there is no specific line or que to join. You find a t-shirted representative or they find you often enough and let them know what your need or interests are and take it from there. Place is ALWAYS packed but it's Apple get over it. I don't think anyone goes here expecting to get in and out quickly but I was surprised/disappointed during my last visit. I had 'checked in' with a representative at the front of the store, walked to a table to sit and wait to pickup my warranty items. After about 20 minutes of waiting I caught and associate walking by to see where I was on the waitlist only to find the associate at the front hadn't completed my 'check-in' so I ended up waiting another 15 minutes (35 in total) to have AirPods Pro handed to me. read more

A salesman in order to get a purchase lied and said that the Barclay Credit card was still being accepted for purchases with extend pay with no interest. We bought and were happy to help our son purchase and he would make the payments. Then we get an unpleasant surprize from Barclay that they do not have this arrangement and we could pay with an almost 25% interest rate. Our 16 year old cannot afford it so we had to be the support. The Geniuses have no power to help you. With the exception of with minor issues that you can figure out yourself if you think it out..better yet, go to the Google and Apple forums for your answer. There is a wealth of information online that will give you the help you need. Don't waste your time here. After 7 visits, from every effort on my part, including bringing in receipts to prove I am the owner of 3 devices, this Apple Store stated they "..do not have the power to help me..". After wasting my time deluding me with 7 separate visits, I finally realized they were just wasting my time with having me jump through unnecessary hoops. I asked "Cassandra" - Who does have the power to help with a security issue? Her answer? The "genius" set up a phone appointment to have Apple Security call me. And they called me as scheduled. Here's how it went: Note I traced this bogus phone number (800) 692.7753 to a residence (a tiny home in ghettoville). I was prompted to do this after terminating the call with the "Genius" on the other line. He not only wanted to take over my phone "to process the problem" but also wanted to "verify credit card information", "date of birth" and "social security number". Apple will NEVER ask you for this information. After calling Apple's headquarters, the problem got resolved promptly. This - all after a month of battling with various Geniuses at the "Genius Bar". This Apple Store is only good for retail sales, but my faith in them is shot. Epic fail. 59/100 read more

I had a great experience at apple yesterday after making an appointment over the phone on Tuesday about an issue I was having I came into the store and I was helped right away with great service from Ben and his team they were able to fix my audio issue but there was still a problem with my camera luckily enough they were able to fix it same day! DO NOT PURCHASE AN IPHONE 12 PRO! If your having issues with your Apple products do not take them to this location. Terrible customer service and unbelievably rude manager. My iPhone 12 Pro has a defective SIM card reader. My service had been going in and out and last week my phone said no SIM card and I had no cell service. Thankfully T-Mobile was able to activate the E-SIM so I had a phone till I my scheduled appointment with Apple. I went the appointment at this Apple location and was told I would have to come back as they did not have time to repair the phone today. I asked why this was going to be repaired and not replaced? I was told they would be removing the screen from my phone and attaching to another phone they had to repair the issue. I said I was not comfortable with that as my warranty is up October 30 this year. I was told their was nothing they could do and Apple was strict on this. I asked to speak to a manager. I explained I use my phone everyday for work and really need my phone replaced and explained again my concerns of the phone being repaired. I also told that T-Mobile said this was a known issue with the iPhone 12 Pro at which point he blew up at me and said T-Mobile sells cellular plans and wouldn't have the first clue as to Apple known issues. I was appalled after 10 years of owning all Apple devices and left. I have known people that have dropped their phone with no Apple Care and Apple replaced the phone. Garbage staff that will avoid helping at all cost and doesn't follow through. I went to apple Brandon for my phone under 2 years ago and it was damaged. Because their employees didn't know how to address my warranty return they kept sending me off to call into apple support. Meanwhile apple support kept sending me to the store. Long story short it took close to 10 hours on the phone since both said the warranty had to be handled on the opposite end. I eventually got my phone replaced over the phone and was contacted by the general manager for the store. She was extremely nice and polite. For the inconvenience of it all she offered me applecare for free. Problem was she never actually applied it to my account. Nobody from the store wants to be helpful at all and I'm stuck because she was too lazy to put in notes about what she offered to do or didn't do. read more

Not having people queue up outside of the entrance was an improvement to the waiting time, but I still had to wait around 15 minutes before they assigned someone to assist me even though I saw a few sales associates standing around. Updating my review from a 3 star to 1 star as it should have always been. I knew they were busy on a Saturday so I made my appointment online on Thursday for 3:30pm and got to the store at 3:25pm. I went directly straight back to the Genius Bar and was hoping for a rep to be open to check in with and they were ALL busy, even the ones on the floor. We finally got someone who was at the register at one of the demo tables and I asked him about my appointment and if he could check us in, he looked on his tablet and was unable to find my appointment until I went to get my phone to show him that I did indeed make an appointment. He then proceeds to tell me that my appointment was canceled since it was 3:31pm and I would have to wait for the others to be helped that were ahead of me. I told him that I have been trying to find a rep to help me and he didn't offer much of a resolution except to put me in the back of the line to which I told him to forget it and I left. If you aren't going to hire enough reps to help on weekends, at least have a kiosk to check into since none of your reps were able to help. This would help solve your problems by 100%. I don't know why Apple has not yet caught onto this or why they're so slow on everything. At least let me check in from my phone!!! So disappointed with this store but it's definitely not my first time but is definitely my last time for sure. read more

The customer support at this apple store is well below average even from the manager Gary Clark. I have purchased many IPhones over the year and unfortunately purchased one 10S that just never worked correctly and they would not fix it. They said if it were a 10 they would have fixed it under warranty but because it's a 10s they would not even though the screen never worked correctly since day one. After I paid $700 plus for it , the rep who was frustrated with me for not remembering my password left me to deal with it, as she had other customers to deal with. After over 30 minutes of trying I left and went to the AT&T store on Hwy 60. Received great service there got my phone hooked up and he got the credit for it. This location was the closet but definitely always most problematic in customer service. The staff has always taken the easy road to AppleCare and wait times. The appts always run beyond the wait times at other locations and easily Tech here have also done a poor transfer of my pc's data to my IMac and created a mess to sort through many damaged files. Luckily I was able to call Apple support and after 3-5 calls erase and redo all the work myself. This store went from an easy going, helpful environment to an absolutely ridiculous mess. I felt completely uncomfortable the last three times I visited this store. The wait times are 2.5-3.5 hours for a walk-in to speak to an apple store employee. Not having that kind of time to wait. I had to make an appointment for over a week out to get my phone looked at. When it came time for my appointment I was very awkwardly confronted by an employee for pulling my mask down (while sitting at a table completely alone, no one within 6+ feet of me) in order to unlock my phone. I got up to look at accessories on the wall while waiting for my phone to be worked on in the back, which of course happened to be near this certain employee and he recoiled away from me (very obviously) because " I was too close to him" The only person who made me feel welcome was the Apple security guy at the entrance handing out masks... For the record this is NOT an anti-mask hate rant, I wore the mask as required by the gentleman at the door. In order to get my phone fixed. I left without my issue resolved and had to make an appointment for the following week. And was emailed on 08-04-21 that my appointment was canceled "due to an unexpected store closure" Get it together Apple. I have been a customer since the VERY beginning. But am reluctantly researching for alternative phone providers at this time. My 12 pro max may as well be a brick. It does not have good enough signal to do simple things such as stream Apple Music or send a regular SMS text message. Verizon says it is a hardware issue with the phone. I left this store feeling extremely stressed each time I have visited the last 6 months. And I do not recommend anyone visit this store. read more

I simply cannot understand how a company that designs such brilliantly intuitive products can FAIL so miserably when it comes to making their stores accessible and friendly to the disabled. The stores are designed for those who can walk and stand and no one else. All the display tables are at standing height so no one in a wheelchair can comfortably view the products, options or pricing and they're placed so close together that, (in pre-COVID times) when there's people standing at them, it's IMPOSSIBLE to even get into the store in a wheelchair. Seriously, it's like looking at the great wall of China - an impassable line of standing people and display tables. What are we supposed to do? Crawl under the tables? And forget about being able to navigate a wheelchair to the back of the store to the Genius Bar or to browse the accessory products hanging on the walls. You'd think that with them limiting customers inside the stores due to COVID these issues would have improved, but no. They are still completely hostile and unwelcoming to the disabled. There are multiple lines out front, confusing signage, idiot associates who send you to the back of the "appointments-for-browsing-the-store-line" after you've told them repeatedly that you're there for a pre-paid, pick-up and absolutely NO PLACE to sit if you have limited mobility and cannot stand for any length of time. And if they do offer you a chair? It turns out to be a cafe-height stool that's IMPOSSIBLE to get onto if you have limited mobility. Apple seriously needs to do BETTER for the disabled. read more

Made an appointment for 445pm to get my daughter's ipods looked at. We got to the store at 430pm and the staff wouldn't let us check in until 440pm. Waited 10 minutes then checked in. Waited another 15 minutes at a table with me and my daughter's, then a staff member approached us and asked us to leave the table because they needed the table for a training. We left the table and had to stand in the back of the store. Finally left the store without any services. Customer service is absolutely terrible. I counted 8 employees standing around doing nothing. I've been a customer of Apple since 2011 bought my very first iPhone from them they helped me set it up correctly and the gentleman who worked in sales took his time out and showed me around the Apple iPhone product which was awesome. I have owned a iPhone 4, 4s, 5 and now a iPhone 5s fixing to be a iPhone 6 and also I own a iPad with retina and Macbook Pro with retina as well all bought here at this Apple store location in the Brandon Westfield Mall. The service from the sales team is great and same with the service techs as well which they are called Apple Geniuses. I only had a problem with my first Macbook Pro where the battery would constantly die no matter how many times by battery was charged so I took it back to this location and diagnosed the battery for me and couldn't find any symptoms or problems so the Apple Genius took my laptop to the manager spoke to him about 10 minutes in the back and they agreed to give me a new Macbook Pro since the laptop was a month old. The Apple product is really great to the customer if someone is looking for an iPhone, iPod, Macbook, Macbook Air, Macbook Pro, iPad, iPad air iPad with retina, Mac Pro and the accessories. I am happy with my Apple products. read more
