I got the unpleasant experience of dealing with the owner for my phone repair. He told my boyfriend to "get the f*ck out of the store," when he asked him how the 6 month warranty on the screen repair was not valid 2 weeks later. So upon leaving the store we called to see if we could talk to a manager to report a complaint with the employee (not knowing he is the owner) he yelled at me on the phone, had a major attitude, was using foul language and then hung up on me. TWICE. He is the rudest person I have ever encountered dealing with in a customer service position, I could not believe someone acted that way. Then I found out he was the owner and I was even more appalled. Paul & Miles are fantastic. If you have the pleasure of working with them they will take care of you and help explain the problem in a calm and nice manner. We went there for a macbook air battery issue, he charged us 140 dollars, went inside to the laptop and came back claiming it was changed to a new one from a reputable distributor. Fan started to overheath and he wanted to change the hard drive. 2 months after and i have to keep my laptop plugged in, as if i disconnect the computer shuts down with 98% battery. His solution "its not the battery" Called Mark and was not help full at all, he is rude and sketchy! Quick service quality product... Follow up from initial service. The overpriced product that I was sold on has had constant issues with the sensitivity of the screen. Half the time, it does not work and I have to turn the phone off and on for me to be able to text or navigate the screen. Also, since visiting this store, my battery dies even when I'm at 50%. After reading up on this, when certain screens are replaced on iPhones, they cause the battery to prematurely die. I do not recommend going to this place. BRING YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!! I have encountered both employees who work here, both of which are condescending, lying little moles who don't stand by their work. I went in with a cracked screen a few months ago. The guy gave me a quote to fix it, and I mentioned it was pretty pricey. After I got over his attitude problem, he ended up selling me by saying I was getting a "premium" new screen and he was putting an additional screen protector on top of it. I hesitated, but went for it because he insinuated that my spending extra with them would mean my NEW phone screen would be stronger and better. Cool, let's do it. Fast forward 4 months and I drop the phone, which is IN a protective case- from about a foot off the ground, face down. The screen freaking shatters. I mean, this was minimal impact, it's not like I dropped it on a rock from 100 feet in the air. I'm thinking, "at least I've got the screen protector on it. I'll go in and have them assess the damage." I lived with my cracked screen for a while before I finally went in.. when I did, I was met with an employee I hadn't dealt with previously, who essentially called me a liar and stated it would be $100 to repair my screen- that's with a "discount". I asked if they stood by their work, and inquired about the "premium" screen I have with the screen protector. He proceeds to tell me I don't HAVE a screen protector on my phone. It's just glass. I said that's not what I was told I was purchasing when I was in here last time. He told me to take it up with the other employee, that it wasn't his problem, all while staring at my boobs instead of my face. I suggest you losers work on your customer service and social skills. This place reminds me of a small town mechanic shop, in all the good ways. They are friendly, honest, and inviting. The conversation was entertaining, and informative. I feel like my computer IQ went up a few points just by being there. They were beyond helpful, and seemed really concerned with me getting my phone back asap. They found my problem within minutes and fixed it no charge. It is rare to find a place that is more concerned with the customer's happiness, than bottom line, but this place seems to do so. I, for one, will return with all my computer and phone needs. I wish I would have found them sooner. It's nice to feel confident in the fact that the places you do business with, are honest and operate with integrity, but this is one of those places and I highly recommend giving them your business. read more

My review is from their previous location, but the service and attitude i received is something I think should be made aware. Especially seeing as it was the owner I dealt with. "I brought my laptop here because I had spilled water on it and needed to get the memory off the hard drive. The tech was friendly but was insisting on throwing away my laptop himself. Luckily, I'm not stupid and I know that the screen is still good and some other parts can be sold. So I politely refused although he was very pressing about "throwing it away" himself. He told me to come back the following day because the transfer onto his computer would take an hour and he was closing up earlier than he'd told me on the phone. I didn't want to leave but he was adamant about me leaving then. When I came back the next day he loaded my old hard drive onto my new laptop but when I asked for my hard drive back he informed me he threw it away. That was my property and he had NO RIGHT to throw it away. I had valuable information on it that someone could easily use to access many of my personal accounts. I honestly don't believe he threw it away though. I believe he used it for parts. It seemed as though he was looking to get more money out of me. Even though I willingly paid 75 dollars for a job that only involved him unscrewing my hard drive out of my computer and transferring the files over to a new laptop. Just had a really great experience at iClinic. I had a virus on my MacBook Air. Turns out it was a difficult one to get rid of. Miles worked, pretty much, all day to fix it. He stayed in touch with me throughout the process. When picking it up, he spent lots of time explaining everything and taught me and my husband some things we didn't know. I had my iPhone 6+ cracked screen repaired a couple months ago and now the screen is separating from the housing causing my phone to not work. The touch screen isn't working at all. Furthermore, it's not the same screen that comes with an iPhone 6+. I can't even see the screen when I have my sunglasses on unless I turn the phone horizontally. I live in Florida, so needless to say, I always have my sunglasses on. It's a pain to have to take them off every time I want to look at my phone. I have no idea what kind of screen they put on my phone, but it's not the original one that comes with the phone. I paid $150 for this service. I'm going in today to see what they can do about this issue. Hopefully they will have a solution for the screen separating!! Our two year old son decided the iphone needed cleaning and put it in the mop bucket, I tried a week in rice but it didn't work. I took it to IClinic on 1st Ave N. in St. Pete and the tech, with the worst attitude, didn't even look at it. Just stretched his arms to show off his bad tattoos and said "It's toast!" Then told me to send my phone to Apple and pay $350 to get a replacement. My wife's phone took a dive into some boiling oil (we had a bad phone week) and after we cleaned it up, it unbelievably worked, except the sim card reader wouldn't recognize her sim. He told us it was an issue with the circuit board, without looking at it, and it would never work again, also to send it to Apple for a replacement under warranty, the next night, the sim card started working again, with no repair at all. He could have probably made some money if he just took the time to look at it. Two days later ( a week and a half after the accident, I took my phone to iCell and Repair and they said they could fix it in three hours for under $50. After being in a mop bucket with bleach, and a week and a half worth of corrosion, these guys did the unthinkable. They held true to their word. My phone works perfectly. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. I guess if your phone has a cracked screen, iClinic can help, if it's anything more than that, take it to someone who knows their business. I believe it's important to treat others how you like to be treated and this man was just so mean.
