Best apple store/experience I ever had!!! MUCH BETTER THAN THE STATES!!! Came in with a keyboard issue and ended up leaving with a $1700 bill........... of which I only had to pay $0!!! That's right got the whole repair for free! A new top case/battery/display essentially a new laptop again besides the logic board all for free! As a poor med student this was a very HUGE blessing for me and my guy Shannon at Apple really hooked it up for me!!! read more

This is a fantastic looking Apple store in a cavernous chamber, with plenty of tables and free wifi for all. Of course, you come to an Apple store either to buy expensive things or to get your stuff fixed. As to the latter, the staff seemed as cheery as anyone else around here (and why wouldn't they be, they live in tropical paradise?). I would note that while the store offers adaptors for any of Brisbane's numerous international visitors who don't have freaky diagonal plugs on their devices, you can get cheaper ones elsewhere. read more

The second Apple Store I have been to and just by coincidence, I happened to be there on the opening day when on holiday trip to Brisbane. As you would expect, there is an excellent range of MacBook's, iPad's, iPhone's and accessories on display. There is also a great range of stereos, speakers, cases and more. With a stunning store, it is part of a lovely building at the end of Queen St Mall that looks spectacular from the outside, it kind of puts the humble Apple Store in Adelaide's Rundle Mall to shame. The building is so beautiful and the interior furnishing are amazing. Unlike the Adelaide store, it is so spacious on the inside too. It's a real shame I can't give this Apple store a six star review. The Apple geniuses are very helpful and the entire experience seems polished with everything from the mobile purchase system to the elegant wooden tables. Super slow service on warranty return. After being told that I would have to wait a week for an "appointment" for a warranty exchange, I came two days in a row to get a "drop in" "appointment" for service. On the second day, I was told to return in two hours, and left my number. When I got the text informing me that i would be able to get service, I returned, only to be ushered to a table to wait another 30 minutes. This is NOT the service I expected when I shelled out top dollar for my new phone, and extra for warranty coverage. An update, after leaving the store: While I was in the store, not one, but two other customers melted down in response to the poor service. I felt bad for the employees, but the outbursts seemed to be the result of poor service. One was in response to the refusal to address a broken phone the same day, the second was a man who was yelling about coming in over a period of several days, and being repetedly refused service. This store has great employees, but it gives the sense that they are overworked or undertrained by a company that cares less about it's customers than it has in the past. read more

Okay, so while we all know what an Apple Store experience is like (and this one is no different from the customer service to the products) it happens to be set in the beautifully restored Macarthur Central and that in itself makes this one of the most beautiful Apple Store's I've walked in to. It has a strong character, the white interior is incredibly calming and it is far more spacious (helps that there's less people during the week) than Chermside and Carindale. A thumbs up for me for the building and for not having to trek to further away Apple stores any longer. read more

firstly sorry for my english as it is my second language, I went to the store today to purchase apple watch. One of the staff in the front kindly asking me of what can they help me today, and I said that I would like to purchase an apple watch then she said it would be a long wait since every staff are currently take care of others customer, then she told be to have a look at the watch while waiting for staff to come and assist me. I've been wait for almost 10min no one came then I saw around 4-5 staff grouping up chatting while I was looking at the watches and try aluminium watches to see whether I like it or not, then later one of the staff came and tell me that they will look for "watch expert in the store" that's what they said. To come and help me out and another 5 min gone and yes no one came so I keep looking around the store then later one of the another staff came and offer an assistance with the watch I said I want to purchase a watch but can't decide yet which one do I want to get, and I ask them whether can I try the stanless steel version on, she said they can't do that but she show me on her wrist and said this is what standless steel version look like, which still didn't help me to decide which one should I go for. After that this staff is gone so I took another 5-10 min waste of time in that store, decide to go for aluminium version instead if I could try the standless steel I'd probably went for it as my heart kinda went toward that version cause of the look and versatile of the band that I could use and also wearing it for others occasion but as I said that I don't know how was it feel like and will it fit my wrist nicely I was so disappointed. read more

The backlight on my MacBook was broken and I decided to take it in for repair at the Apple store closest to where I lived. I rocked up for my scheduled appointment and was attended to after approximately ten minutes. The guy was knowledgable, easy to talk to, and I felt like he took me and my problem seriously. After having a chat with his supervisor he said that they would need to keep the MacBook for 3 - 5 days for repairs, but that (even though the warranty had expired nearly a year ago!) they would cover the entire cost. The repair was done in three days, and the pickup went as smoothly as the drop off. When something did go wrong with my MacBook, I could not have asked for a better customer service experience than the one I had with this Apple store; it was absolutely outstanding. read more

Worse experience at an Apple Store I have ever had and I have shopped in many stores around the world. I checked it to buy a phone and was told there was about a 10 min wait. No problem I told them I would be over by accessories. 35 min later nothing and a sales person could see I was getting annoyed. He quickly went to the manager and I could see him telling him that he could not find me He told me that he and a sales person walked down to find me and they could not. I was sitting 5 feet from where I told him I would be I watched him the whole time and he never tried to find me A bold face lie He never apologized Be carful with this manager He can not be trusted stand next to him till he does his job and get you served Also it's very hard to find a way to contact apple if there is a problem read more

Desperately need my Macbook fixed on a Thursday. Chirpy female staff member tells me she can book me in for Saturday. I cannot come in on the weekend, and ask her to book me in next week. You can book yourself in online she says. I ask if she could book me on the ipad in her hand (seeing as I have gone to the trouble of visiting in person). She refuses - and points to the iphone in my hand - you can download the apple app, she says firmly but chirpily. I don't point out that the iphone doesn't work because there is no memory left, because I can't download anything, because my Macbook is broken. She clearly doesn't care. I leave, not only with problem unresolved but feeling patronised and inconvienced. Well done apple, how to stuff up the most basic of customer interractions. read more

Couldn't make an appointment to get a screen fixed but we were told it wasn't overly busy. Get there, park, go in and are told to book in and then wait for text. Get text come back told to wait at a table. Wait 20mins and finally get to see someone and are told the turn around is over 2 hours. Leave frustrated and pay a $35 parking fee. Bad organisation skills - lack of concern for patrons yet told if we don't use them all warrantees are void!! read more
