This was an exciting day as I was picking up my items for my 17 pro max. I am an avid Apple member and I own pretty much everything they have to offer. The store is always neat and clean, well stocked and organized. It makes the store aesthetically pleasing to be in. Products line the walls and tables to allow customers to try them out before purchasing. I went to the check in greeter and let her know of my appointment to pick up my case and case strap for my new device that I would receive the next day. I sat and waited for an available team associate for about 10 mins and he checked me in and was super polite , friendly and funny. He grabbed my products and asked if I'd like it set up for me but my phone was being shipped the next day so there was no need. We chatted a bit more and he assisted my friend with a purchase of an Apple Watch, while I tested out the display products. Everyone there was so helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. I love visiting the Apple Store. I'm overdue for a visit again lol. Parking out in the lot as this store is at Lenox mall. You can valet or park for free in the lot. read more

I had an appointment at Apple at Lenox for 5:40 PM, but I arrived early around 1:00 PM. I knew I was early and expected to wait. I only wanted to check in and sit until my appointment. When I walked in, I was told to go to the check-in table. I did and stood there waiting for Essan to check me in. Instead of acknowledging me, she helped other customers first and then told me I needed to wait in line, even though I was already standing in line. After I let her know I was waiting to be checked in, Hayden said he could help the next person. When I walked over to him, he spoke to me in an informal way, saying, "Friend, you need to get in line around the table and get in line." I was already the next person waiting to be checked in, so I found that unnecessary and disrespectful. I corrected on how to be address for I am a customer of my screen blackout.The way both employees handled the check-in process made for an unpleasant experience and was not what I expected from Apple. The other employee also stated I need to take it up with God based on my line placement when i stated out loud i was standing here all along with my family. On a positive note, Syd and Lex were phenomenal downstairs. They answered all of my financing questions AND repair options until time. greeted me as soon as I walked into the service area, explained my options clearly, and spoke with Cleo and my sister to start my device diagnostic around 4:00 PM, well before my scheduled appointment. They explained what would happen during the process and made the rest of my visit a great experience. Their professionalism and customer service upstairs needs to be addressed. read more

The team at Lenox went above and beyond to help me with a return / trade-in situation after a relative passed away that truly left me speechless. I worked with Alexis, the manager on site, and she was so kind and helpful. I was in and out of there in under 30 minutes and I had a trade-in + two purchases. I arrived 15min late to my appointment for service in my AirPods 3 (2nd time they're not working properly) and the gentleman who checked me in was very nice; said my lateness wouldn't be an issue. He directed me where to sit and I did. An hour later no one has acknowledged me and when I check my Apple Store application my reservation is gone. The solution is to allow the technicians working the tables to stop for a moment and greet people, especially if they've been there for a while just to double check that they are in queue. This never happened so I'm leaving the store with my bunk AirPods, still paying AppleCare monthly for the benefit. read more

Apple customer service -- in store or online -- is just awful. It's not the employees' fault. They are given no authority to do anything. So, Apple charged us incorrectly for a purchase (overcharged). We spent two hours on the phone. End result: they said we just have to call back again the next day (Sunday), but also said it might be too late at that point to change anything. Basically, with Apple, even when everyone agrees (they told us multiple times they know they made a mistake), they refuse to fix it. It's just endless barriers ... hoping customers give up before Apple has to give back what they overcharged. read more

Over the years, this has been one of the worst Apple stores to visit in the nation. It got slightly better, thanks to the beautiful new design and second story being added. The challenge is mostly the staff working here, recruiting seems to be quite in a bad state. First of all, despite AppleCare Plus, the Genius Bar employee (named Aha or similar) tried to charge me $100 for a screen replacement and trying to argue that the price is correct, asking to pay. After showing them official prices from Apple website, he called over another person, who quickly adjusted it and corrected to correspond with price online. There wasn't even an apology from the original employee. Thus, illustrating a level of general lack of expertise, training and customer service. Another employee, doing an Apple Vision Pro demo, could not stop cussing out his own colleagues in conversation with me, the customer. While agreeably his colleagues messed up on properly putting together the Vision Pro, talking bad things about them is extremely inappropriate. Work as a team! When picking up the iPhone, overheard the employee tell a customer that repair won't be done until the next day, then after her shock and complaints, employee clarifying that they entered everything wrong and that it will be done the same day after all. It seems the level of disorganization at this store and general employee competence is at an incredibly low level. As a result, from many past bad experiences at the smaller location of the same store, little seems to have improved. read more

Whenever a new Apple product comes out, the stores are mobbed. This is the second time I've come here to upgrade an iPhone. IMO, Apple offers the most value for a trade-in and I like the ability to be able to own the phone outright and not "rent" it from a cellular provider in a contract. The last time I was in the store was not when a phone had come out and it was a pretty chill experience... this time was the day after the iPhone 17 came out in stores. I placed an order online for pickup, was prompted to choose a pickup window time, and headed on in, expected and in and out kind of experience. Wasn't expecting to have to then stand in a line! And honestly don't think it would have mattered if I'd gone at a time that was outside my reservation window. When it was my turn, I still had to interact with an employee, of course so they can try to upsell you on things you don't want or need. Thankfully the guy was nice and not terribly aggressive, so I grabbed the goods and got the H*ll outta there. Not sure if the double doors that allow you to enter the store from the street are always open, but they were on this particular day which was way more convenient than having to trek through the mall to get to the entrance. read more

My MacBook Pro screen was not working, I asked at the Apple Store how much to fix it, $550 + tax and it would take 1 week I was told . The "Genius" guy kept pushing as well on selling me a brand new computer instead of fixing the one I had. I replied numerous time "no thank you I want mine fixed instead"..to which the Apple "Genius" guy comes back after letting me know that they don't have the part, that they would call me when they have it in stock for me to bring the lap top back to the store and then it would take another week to fix it. So I cold-called this place from the Apple Store called "Tech Savy phone repair" and they said they could replace my screen. I brought my laptop over, they fixed it for $350 and got it back 1hr later. no posing, no "I need your password", no "I need your permission.." blah blah blah.. Apple blows. read more

This was by far one of the beat experiences at this Apple store. My associate Mike with the locs was amazing. Very professional. Its so sad how Lenox get so much bad press now and I was a little afraid to go there but everything worked out. I upgraded my iPhone XR TO AN IPHONE 14 plus. So Apple is located in heart of the mall but closer to the Nike and True food kitchen. As I said my transaction was seamless and everybody was nice. I had to come back a couple of days later to return my old phone and that was effortless as well. I even ran into Mike Epps crazy azz. He told me, women dont touch doors, I got you!" Went to the Apple Store at Lenox Mall to repair the back of my iPhone 16 Pro. On Friday, I was told they couldn't accommodate me since it was launch day and to come back the next day. Came back Saturday, only to be told now it's "launch weekend" and they're only handling urgent repairs. In other words, priority goes to new buyers while existing customers are left hanging. I understand they're busy, but changing the excuse each time is unacceptable and unprofessional. Extremely disappointed with Apple and the staff here. read more

I didn't need an appointment it was a quick stop-in, yet I saw the genius bar moving in a good flow. I would give the Genius Bar in Atlanta, GA, zero stars if I could. The experience was absolutely terrible. I walked in with a simple issue--my phone wasn't charging properly--and was met with rude staff who seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than helping me. After waiting for over an hour past my appointment time, I was told that they couldn't help me without a lengthy repair process and that it could take days to fix. No alternatives, no attempt to solve the problem quickly, just a lot of dismissive attitude. To make matters worse, they didn't even apologize for the delay. One of the worst experiences of having technology "fixed" in my 43 years of life. I went in with a phone that didn't have a working camera and a computer that lost battery more quickly than I like. Three hours later I left in tears with a new phone that they couldn't connect to a SIM (leaving me with no ability to use the internet). Because it had taken them 3 hours, I didn't have time to have any of my phone data transferred. And my computer? They completely wiped it and were not able to fix the problem with the battery. DOWNSTAIRS: Did a walk in on a Friday afternoon, they got us in within 10 mins. We had to do a store credit return from an online order. It was kind of inconvenient because the iPad was a gift. Colin and Mildred helped us out . Colin is the downstairs manager. He was very helpful and informational. He has a great personable personality. My friend talks ALOT & he didn't mind. He's a great conversationalist. Mildred made the return very easy. She wasn't able to scan so she had to type everything manually. She was very patient. I appreciate their COVID19 help and safety standards. They have these nice custom mask that are equivalent to N95 mask. They check temperature at the door . They have hand sanitizer readily available. UPSTAIRS: KIMAMI helped us out upstairs . There was no appointments available but he was able to get us a walk in. He was very patient and professional. He's personable and handsome: really eyes. He was quick and swift. Hand sanitizers upstairs as well. Upstairs is where the Genius Bar is so it's much more quite, calm, and organized. The one star is for the young guy who helped me out today. He was sweet and efficient. My phone stopped working last week. After getting the run around from Apple and T-Mobile, I got an appointment with the Apple Store. I tried hard to get it for another location because every other week there is a shooting at Lenox Mall. If you don't already know you can't just stop by the store, as you have to have an appointment, which is hard to get. My appointment was at 2pm and I arrived at 1:57pm. I stood in line for 30 mins before making it to the front. They kept calling ppl before me, for whatever reasons, and I didn't get seen until 42 minutes after my scheduled time. My phone got fixed, but the manager refused to come out, so I could share my concerns. I will be following up with Apple Customer Service. This is unacceptable! Especially during this pandemic! I don't leave my house for much and if I show up on time, I'm expecting to be seen in a timely manner. Get an appointment at another location, so you don't risk a mall shooting happening! read more

The best way to review this place is that Apple really went all out for the revamping of the store. Moving from the third floor inside of the mall to the mall front as a store front and making the entire wall front store completely glass where there are evergreen trees planted on the first floor of the store. This door I will have to say it's a much needed upgrade towards the popularity of the Apple Store at Linden Square. Second floor being solely for AppleCare/Genius Bar appointments. And the first floor dedicated to those who are wanting to purchase, inquire or browse. The latest iPhones, iPads, Apple TV, iMac, MacBook and the complementary accessories. Does nothing like walking to an Apple Store and seeing a product that you only heard of or theme glimpse is up on the Internet and being able to experience it firsthand it's pretty magical and amazing. The products are quartz going to be phenomenal due to the fact that they are in the store. But the one thing I do like about Apple is company is that they are pretty consistent on keeping up the quality of devices for the course of a couple or few years. Oh before I forget, let the record show that while you are at your appointment... do you know which table teachers sitting at could have the latest iPhone, iPad, iMac or MacBook! read more

We wanted to exchange a new Apple Watch watch band today for a different size - same band, just smaller size. It was purchased Monday of this week with many other items totaling almost $3,000. A simple request but the "manager" said the only way they could do it was to return the new watch, watch band and AppleCare coverage and start all over with a completely new transaction for everything which would have involved all the set-up and pairing steps as if we hadn't just gone through all of that! If this store had cared one iota about customer service, they would have exchanged the watch band and figured out their back-end paperwork later. As it was, we had to spend another $50 to get the correct size band since we weren't willing to go through such an unnecessary ordeal. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! read more

Horrible experience here this past Saturday. Was in the store for over an hour for something that would have taken less than 10 minutes. I came into the store with the intention of trading in my iPhone 7 for an upgrade.. the new iPhone 11. I was set up with an associate and he proceeded to help me with my request. The guy told me I would be getting a trade in value of $150. Ok, sounds good. He asked me what color, capacity, etc I wanted and started ringing me up. Nowhere in this process did he explain how much I was paying (or even showed me the amounts!). He just said that it would be a monthly payment and everything was included. So after everything was set and done, I got the receipt and realized that I had signed up for Apple Care without being informed! Mind you Apple Care is just as much as the value of the iPhone I just traded in.. $149.99. I told him I didn't want to sign up for Apple Care... He proceeded to use scare tactics and told me that I would regret it and that I'm probably going to crack my case so I might as well keep it. "and it's just $6 more a month". He then says that I have to call the bank that is in charge of the monthly payments in order to cancel/refund it. This made ZERO sense. If I'm buying Apple Care through Apple, why are they not canceling or refunding it??? It even said on the receipt that you cancel anytime. After much arguing and frustration, he ended up refunding everything and redoing the transaction....... I feel like this was all a trick to get me into signing up for a service I didn't opt in to. Idk if they have a quote/commission they make from apple care, but this was unacceptable.... read more

The associates that I've encountered at this Apple location have provided premier customer service time and time again: I came to the store to compare the new MacBook Pros and iPad Pro, as I was in the process of purchasing a new personal device and the staff greeted me as soon as I arrived, answered any questions I had, and help me sift through the differences and what each device would offer. On a separate occasion, I scheduled a genius appointment to have my AirPods examined, as the case stopped charging my AirPods. Kiemoni was helpful with initiating the work authorization to depot them for further repair. I was informed that I'd get a notification once they were ready for pickup. Kiemoni made the entire process easy and seamless, and he even made sure everything was good once I picked up the new ones. Amazing service! Additionally, I recently purchased the Rose Gold MacBook Air for in-store pickup. Kane facilitated the check-in process and wow! He was so engaging, kind, and knowledgeable about the products. He informed me that he recently bought the MacBook Air and was happy with his decision and that in itself was reassuring. His bright personality definitely made my day. read more

It's a shame the service is absolutely inadequate given the store is so grand. I found a few things about the staff, their manager may use as training reference. 1. overall slow paced. Everyone dress hip with fire kicks, however as a customer, I'd expect staff who can direct customers in traffic and speed up our wait time in store instead of being chatty with coworkers. 2. clumsy. I saw a staff dropped a customer laptop yesterday at a fairly slow time before closing. upon checking the screen was not shuttered, he moved on like it didn't happen. One kid saw what happened and was in shock for a good five mins telling her mom what she saw. The staff remained discrete. 3. Surprisingly incapable to solve a simple issue. I came as my phone was eligible for the upgrade program with apple loan fully paid off, but someone the loan is open and we were unable to process the trade in as the loan needs to be closed to proceed. An hour in, with 3 staff members from different specialty area, no one was able to tell me how to proceed. And no one offered to stay on the phone to walk me through with the loan customer service line or apple support customer service line. 4. This beautiful apple store's phone number will not go through. If you lost personal item, please expect to buy the replacement as they do not have a phone number to connect with customers. This store experience really made me never want to have an iPhone again. Tony's customer service is worth more than 5 stars; however, this particular review is for the manager David. He was an arrogant narcissist that was extremely racial to both my husband & I. He refused to abide by Apples policy. I purchased my Apple Watch series 9 on Monday and you have 2 weeks to return. All I needed to do was exchange my band for a different color. He refused to swap bands and tried to forced me to purchase another watch from the store. He has HORRIBLE customer service. Ordered a new MacBook Pro online. Less than an hour later, a notification came through my phone letting me know it was ready for picked up. The staffs greeted me upon entering the forever crowded store. It was a Sunday, what was I thinking? Clearly I was really not thinking straight for the past few days. Two days in a row at the mall?? :( Thank goodness I walked here, I would not even consider coming here if I needed to drive and hoping I would find a parking spot. The greeter at the door led me to a table and another staff came shortly and brought me to these two other staffs who asked for my id. They were friendly and funny. Yes, they look like IT guys or geeks or anyone smart in techie stuffs. I am often impressed by smart people. I like smart people. Clearly I would not list anything technology as my talent. Within a few minutes, someone (I didn't noticed who) came with the laptop and passed it to one of the guys. I signed and acknowledged receiving the order. The laptop was bagged and off I started to head home :) It was a great experience at the Apple Store! Nothing is worse than making me wait in a crowded store on a Sunday or any day as a matter of fact. Glad nobody is making me wait today. Hope my lucky streak continues :D read more

I'm a little surprised there aren't more Apple locations in Atlanta. This would be the closest location to the Emory campus I believe and it's in one of the biggest shopping centers around here. The Lenox Square mall is full of luxury and name brands so while you're looking for your new Mac you can get a little Prada too. The Apple Store is located on the second floor and the store is huge! When you look in, it feels like the aisles continue on and on. Unfortunately due to Apple's popularity and their limited locations, they are extremely busy here. I remember being greeted at the door by customer service agents but they were so busy today that even they were running around. I also had a hard time identifying who worked there and who just wanted to look like they worked there. Remember when you walk in, you have to find one of these people to get your name on the list. It doesn't matter whether you are ready to buy or have questions, you go in the queue. Stay in one place because they won't be able to find you if you're moving all about. After about 15 min of waiting, I finally got someone to help me with a new computer purchase and within 5 min I had my computer and was walking out the door. Based on all of this, it was clear that really they just needed more help because once help came, they were nice, efficient and got me on my way. Apple continues to make really awesome products and I appreciate how integrated everything is. When you turn on your new product, everything comes down from the cloud making the transfer of information oh so much easier. I do enjoy this location but they need more employees! read more

My husband and I visited the Lenox Apple store on 8/11/2024. Everything was going so well, had an awesome lady helping us purchase our new phones and get them set up. I failed to get her name, or I would make sure to give her 5 stars during this review...she was AWESOME. But then a manager came over and basically pulled her off of helping us which left my husband and myself "stranded"! We were absolutely floored! That was the rudest and most uncalled for experience we have ever encountered with a retail store. The associate that they left us with after pulling the knowledgeable one away did absolutely NOTHING except sit there and look around. When asked a question she would respond with I don't know. I hate that I did not get the managers name either because I will be writing corporate about her. She totally ruined our experience with Apple! We had just dropped a lot of $$$ on two new phones and was going to purchase at least one apple watch if not two but after this experience happened, we just left the store with my phone half set up and my husband's not at all. The associate was more than accommodating and helpful but that manager...NEEDS TO BE FIRED! Unless you are an apple "buff", do not go to this store! You will possibly get left in the dirt! read more

The Apple stores are always packed with customers, and this store is no exception. Most days there is a line already forming before the doors open in the morning. I always joke that they have more customers than a supermarket. Any problem I just can't , or don't want to, figure out myself I will pass by to be helped by the young staff... with in minutes my problem is resolved or at least on its way to being resolved. The secret to having a successful visit is to not come frustrated with little patience. As mentioned, these are young adults/kids that understand the product very well even though not always have the experience at dealing with adult frustrations. As of late I come here more often as I am building a working space...Buying and playing with stuff from Apple is so much fun!! read more
