    I had a disappointing experience at CDC Computers on Thursday, Sept. 4th…read more I have been to CDC Computers a handful of times to have my laptops repaired and never had an issue. I was always treated with respect and kindness and the front office staff knew their business. On Thursday I took my laptop in for repairs again but this time a new staff person to me, took one look at it and said it would cost 1/3 the cost of a new laptop. I was not surprised by this and was half expecting it but I was not expecting the way he railroaded me into buying a new laptop from CDC Computers. He whipped across the building and came back with a laptop and told me this is the one I needed. He talked non-stop and would not let me get a word in edgewise. He talked about everything but the laptop. How the business is moving to a new location in the next few months, how they've been having staffing problems, how they are barely making enough money to stay in business, etc. I did ask him if this was a brand new Windows 11 laptop or was it a refurbished laptop. He answered a telephone call and gave a staff person instructions. I did not receive an answer. I asked him what the memory capacity was, he said he "thought it was 550 gigs". Why didn't he find out for certain? I realize it was my fault for falling for his railroading and speed talking, and believe me I am having buyers regret. I have no one to blame but myself and I own that. This is so disappointing. When I took my laptops in before for repairs the young men working at the front were wonderful. They explained what needed to be done and gave me an approximate time and $ amount. Daniel, was totally opposite. He could learn a LOT from his co-workers. Better yet, let the other staff deal with the public and he should stay in his office. Would I take my laptop to CDC Computers for repairs again - yes. Will I buy anything brand new from CDC Computers again - not a hope in Hell.

Cam is absolutely wonderful as he has helped us on a few occasions now with our laptop and printer. He is very knowledgeable and explains everything he is trying or doing at the time, always with a smile and good sense of humour. Today he fixed my printer and my sanity!     A week ago, I was at CF Polo Park a few hours after having arrived in town. It was raining. I…read morethought that taking some shelter indoors was a good idea. I needed a decent car vent cell phone holder. The one that I travel with doesn't have a security hook that ensures it stays put when you yank your phone off it. I needed a better one, preferably with either a magnet or a hook for a PopSocket. At this mall, I checked out a couple of cell phone places. They offered the same one that I had -- without the security hook. Ugh! I finally found Mobile Care. The man behind the counter had exactly what I was looking for. The vent mount had that security hook that I needed. It also was MagSafe-compatible, which aligned with my cell phone case. The man assembled it for me. I checked out the length of this security hook. It was exactly what I wanted. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was good. He put everything in a plastic bag. I wished him a great day. I installed it in my rental vehicle once I was done shopping at this mall. It has worked well for the past week. This store is on the first floor. It's near Garage. (257)

    I went to Mobile Care on the main level of Polo Park to buy a box for a phone I had purchased for…read moremy mom. I politely asked if they could wrap it to make it look presentable as a gift. The owner, Mohammad, immediately became aggressive. He said, "You're asking too much," called me a liar, and told me to "get going." He even threatened me, claiming he will get me banned from the mall because i dont know who he is and his powers. His behavior was loud and clearly meant to embarrass me in front of other customers. I later went to another store in the mall and the staff there wrapped the phone quickly and politely, proving that my request was normal. Mohammad's reaction was not only unnecessary but threatening and abusive. This seems to be a pattern of intimidation -- the way he tried to scare me mirrors complaints from other customers. No one should be verbally harassed, humiliated, or threatened for asking a simple question. Polo Park management should address this behavior to protect shoppers.
