From the first phone converstation, I was put at ease by the kind and polite teacher who answered. Then I did a tour with Mrs. Maria and Shazna where I explained my experience and they were so understanding and relieved all my worries by actually explaining their policies and how consistently every employee follows said policies, which was one of my biggest concerns. These women were professional and straight forward which I greatly appreciated. I like that enrollment includes weekly music lessons, annual performances, all kids bring their own labeled water cups, breakfast, lunch and snacks are included, and kids can bring lunch boxes from home if they want. They also have an app that, among other things, they use to disperse their weekly menus, send photos and videos weekly, communicate with parents, pay tuition, and disclose potty accidents as they occur. The application was 6 downloadable pdf forms and a 10 page parent handbook that plainly states their policies and only required signatures on the last 2 pages. They also offer optional dance, soccer, and young ninja programs that are sold seperatly and occur on the premises during regular hours, so no additional transportation is requirted and the kids are never distracted by their parents presence. It's been 4 months and I haven't had a single problem since. My son has made friends and become noticeably confident. He loves the optional Hip Hop dance classes and the Young Ninjas classes! He doesn't cry at drop off. He confidently walks striaght to Mrs. Maria classroom, usually without even syaing goodbye to me. This preschool is also the best priced establishiment I found in the Valley... even less expensive than the home childcare we was in for over 2 years and way less than the previously mentioned BAD preschool we had tried. Mrs, Maria has been a pleasure to work with and I couldn't say enough great things about this place. Please, do not hesitate to take a tour and see for yourself! ... Oh and we LOVE the seasonal window paint they have at the entrance. My son always gets excited when it changes.

You have now accussed me of "repeated concerns regarding hostile communication and ongoing disruptive interactions with staff." For the prospective families reading this, I implore you, Ms. Peggy, to define what your definitions of "hostile communication" and "ongoing disruptive interactions" and "combative" are. I also give you permission to state what dates and claims about me you are even referring to, but make sure to to include "critical context" without being "inaccurate" or "misleading" when doing so. Parents need to be aware that you were never around during the incidents I described, so you have no basis for knowing whether anything I described was inaccurate. I asked a lot of questions that your staff didn't like and 1st I was called "rude" for it and now that I documented my experiences, you are trying to label me "hostile." Shame on you. The teachers in the infant room were some of the most warm, welcoming, and wonderful women I know. I genuinely felt like they loved my daughter and knowing she was in such caring hands every day meant so much to me. When picking a daycare you can go somewhere that is simply just going to keep your child's needs met, or you can go somewhere that your child can actually grow. The latter is LAG. There were specific times for activities, music class, snack time, outside time, etc. Even at a young age I noticed the difference in my daughter after her being at LAG. The facility itself is so well-kept. The classrooms are clean, not overwhelming with too many toys or screens or colors, and they have a beautiful outdoor area as well. We unfortunately had to withdraw our daughter from LAG recently because we are relocating to a new area and trust me when I say it was the hardest and saddest decision to make. LAG is such a special place and we feel so lucky our daughter got to attend here.

They have two main outdoor areas: one for the little kids and another for the older ones. The outdoor play area immediately made me feel happy, and I knew this was the place I wanted my kids to be. My daughter attended from ages 2 to 4, and now my son has started at 2 years old. LAC also has an infant center, which looks wonderful! I seen parents taking off their shoes in the infant center, keeping it extra clean! Last year, they did a bunch of new updates in all classrooms and bathrooms. The classrooms are nice and well-maintained. I especially loved Ms. Priscilla, Ms. Joan, and Mrs. Shannon. And if you need anything, ask for Leilany in the office, she's super nice and always helpful. I felt like I could trust her with my babies immediately. Every day daycare is attended, they are sent home with a report of what they ate, when/ how often they were changed or went potty, when they took a nap and woke up, as well as any concerns or notes of anything they're running low on that you need to bring in (aka wipes, diapers, or formula- if used). Connie also always sends me a text if she has any concerns she thinks I should know about. I'm so grateful that they care for my boys like their own.. they even had a little birthday celebration for my youngest's 1st birthday. It was so sweet of them.. I want to note it was a schlep for us to get to Tarzana from Sherman Oaks, but well worth it given our experience. Dali is warm, loving, highly experienced, and cares deeply about children and their families. I felt so comfortable leaving our baby with Dali each morning and when we requested photos or updates on how she was doing Dali would promptly text us. It is difficult to find high quality childcare and I was very impressed with the calm and family like atmosphere Dali has cultivated. She keeps the environment and materials exceptionally clean. The children adore her and her assistant and one another. I can't recommend her enough and I do to every parent who is in need of daycare in the valley.

When my oldest started, it was during the pandemic and she had been out of a day care setting for months while everything was locked down, so needless to say she was somewhat difficult since we couldn't really socialize much with social distancing in place. Dali was patient, caring, and understanding with her and helped my little girl adjust to socializing with other children and learning boundaries and discipline in a respectful way. Once she adjusted, she thrived under her care. Prior to starting TK, she knew her letters and numbers and even writing her own name! I was always kept up-to-date on her progress and growth, alerted to any concerns regarding behavior and/or illness, and provided with advice and/or reassurance when facing developmental challenges (at the time, as a first time parent, this meant the world to me). She did this with both of my girls and gave me such great peace of mind when they were under her care. Both my girls were there at the same time at one point when they were too young to start school and she handled them wonderfully. Socializing with new friends, eating nutritious foods, waterplay days during summertime, playtime with fun toys, arts and crafts, games and story time, Dali's day care has it all in a spacious and cozy home that feels like a second home for your kiddos. We were very nervous to put our little…read moreone in daycare due to Covid, but AAKP has taken the necessary precautions to keep the kids as safe as possible. They also keep us informed of any "close contact" cases in the AAKP community. The teachers have been great and my little one loves them a lot! The director and assistant director are wonderful! The staff overall communicate with parents regularly, taking the guesswork out of how my little one's day went. They are also easily available via phone and email. AAKP truly cares about the kids and give them a good foundation. My little one just blossomed while he was there! The facilities are nice, the kids have plenty of things to play with. They do artwork, story time, etc. Summer camp is so fun with outside services and water play days (fyi, summer camp is a small extra fee to help offset these extras). I even got the chance to volunteer to do a music class for the kids over Summer, which I really enjoyed. AAKP also made upgrades to the playground area to smooth out the ground, making it much safer. I highly recommend AAKP!
