Update on my 4 year review - My daughter and both of my nieces have been attending Kidsville since they were babies, and they continue to thrive there now in the after-school program. Over the years, I've watched all three girls grow academically, socially, and emotionally through the care and dedication of the staff When they were enrolled in the school-age program, each of them succeeded in many academic areas while also building strong self-confidence, positive manners, and a love for learning. I can't believe parents wrote such a terrible review. Obviously, their kids haven't been to Kidsville USA in a long time, so they can't judge accurately. First of all, if you can't handle your kids at home and send them to school like Kidsville, expecting teachers to focus and manage them, and then blame the teachers if they can't control your kids, that is very unfair to all the children and parents. Teachers cannot focus only on one kid (parents should understand this). My middle child has been attending Kidsville since he was only 2 years old (now he is 6 and ready to graduate from kindergarten). Just so you know, my son can now write his name (at age 3), knows his sight words, is currently learning mathematics, and can fully read sentences on his own. Shoutout to his kindergarten teacher, Ms. Alice, who never doubted my son and believed in all the kids. She is very hands-on with all the children. Secondly, my daughter started attending Kidsville USA when she was only 6 months old and has been there ever since (she is now 4 and getting ready for pre-K with Ms. Alice, starting this school year). The best teachers my kids have had, besides Ms. Alice, were Ms. Jolie, Ms. Esther, Ms. Rose, Ms. Betty, Ms. Sara, Ms. Norma, Ms. Kathy, and Ms. Monique. We all loved the teachers, who care for your children every day, as well as the hardworking director, Ms. Maureen, who has been unfairly judged as rude. FYI, Ms. Maureen had her vocal cords repaired, if I remember correctly, so she often sounds like she's yelling--even if she doesn't mean to--and because of that, some parents think she's rude. A big shout-out to her assistants, Ms. Brittany and Mr. Lloyd, and to the best chef, Ms. Yoli. Please, parents, don't jump to being judgmental right away. There are always two sides to every story. Kids are not easy these days, even my own children. Kidsville has always been exciting during summer, Halloween, and Christmas seasons, often organizing field trips with the older kids. read more

I absolutely love this daycare! The staff genuinely cares about each child's well-being, education, and overall development. They encourage outdoor play, provide fun and engaging activities, and go above and beyond to support families--even offering assistance during times of financial hardship whenever possible. One of my children's favorite parts is the pool during summer camp. They spend so much time swimming and making memories, unless they're off enjoying one of the many exciting field trips the daycare plans. My son has been at this wonderful camp since he was just a tiny toddler--before he was even in school! Now he's grown up and graduated from kindergarten right here. Over the past 10 years, this camp has been like a second home for him, and for us. The director and the whole team have shown nothing but genuine care, support, and warmth. I cannot recommend Kidsville USA enough! The field trips they organize are absolutely amazing and provide such enriching experiences for the kids. I have been so impressed with Ms. Alice's attentiveness; she is a wonderful teacher who truly goes above and beyond to guide the children as they prepare for the next stage of their academic lives. The facility itself is fantastic, with newly remodeled rooms that feel so welcoming. Omgggg this place is a total nightmare!!!!! I had to pull my 3 kids out immediately they kept my 3 kids separate in a dark back room soing God knows what. When I pulled them.out the owner or whoever the old Indian lady is got notified but she proceeded to submit fraud paperwork into CCRC and forged my signature to making them.think my kids attended there for 3 months and got paid for the whole 3 months without me even knowing it while.forging my signature. She is a thief and a fraud do not trust her with ur kids I have a lawsuit filing against her right now this place is a nightmare stay away. read more

All three of my kids went here and started in the 3 year old classes then went on to graduate from Kindergarten. We have been very impressed with this school for years. Everything from strict cleanliness to a well balanced sensory, physical play and academic lessons year round. Hot meals are included for lunch and even dinner for the kids that get picked up after 4pm which is amazing for super busy parents trying to get to and from a long work day. Breakfast and snacks are also included. Maureen the director is very passionate about education at these crucial stages in a child's development. She is constantly checking in on all her students to see where they are academically and emotionally to ensure their needs are met at all stages of learning. We are completely grateful we had found this school. All the teachers here are amazing and truly care about your child's well being. The majority of the teachers have been here for years which also speaks volumes about how the school is run. My oldest daughter now 10 has been reading 2 grades above reading level since she left Kidsville at Kindergarten. She was already a strong reader at age 4 (thanks to the education she received at Kidsville) She was challenged and is doing exceptionally well at her current school in West Hills rated 10/10. Along with my son (now 8) who initially struggled with focusing at ages 3 and 4. The teachers were always patient with him and encouraged him to do his best. He has just finished 2nd grade and is doing very well in all his subjects especially science, math, and art. He is currently reading at grade level and has been testing 2 grades above grade level in math since he graduated kindergarten at Kidsville. My youngest now 5 has just recently graduated Kindergarten at Kidsville and is reading, adding double digits, counting and writing numbers 1-100. She started spelling and writing her very long name at 4 years old. She knew all her sounds and entire uppercase and lowercase alphabet at 4.5. She knew all her colors and shapes by 3. She's doing very well socially and emotionally. We could not be happier with the educational experience my family has received here. A huge emotional thank you to all the staff at Kidsville. I went to Kidsville one summer for summer camp. It's taken me some time to finally air my grievances. Though I only attended for two weeks, it was enough to wish I never asked my mom if she would enroll me. It was the summer of '84. I was only 13 years old but I was the oldest of the students. My neighborhood friend John Tinaza was signed up for the summer and begged me to attend, so I asked my mom if she could enroll me. She was a single mom and didn't make much money at the time working for ARCO, which use to be located on Plumber off of Winnetka, so she could only afford to send me for two weeks. Every morning at camp they would go over the rules after we said the pledge of allegiance outside while facing the flag. One of the rules involved the flower beds that were throughout the premises. Each flower bed was surrounded by a strip of yellow paint. We were emphatically told - NO CROSSING THE YELLOW LINE. I certainly understood the rule. There were about 80-100 kids mostly between ages 6-12. If they stepped into the flower beds they might have stepped on the plants and damaged them. So one day I was playing handball with the younger kids and the handball went into a flower bed. This particular bed was rose bushes that had been meticulously trimmed. The ball laid just a few feet into the bed. There was an easy clearing to the ball but you must remember the rule - NO CROSSING THE YELLOW LINE. Since I was older than the rest of the students I took it upon myself to take one step over the yellow line into the dirt and grab the ball. My reach and stride were much longer being the oldest and I certainly didn't see the harm knowing I would not harm any plants. And voila... DONE!!! I had the ball and was ready for us to continue our game... BUT one of the younger kids around age 8 made a scene and exclaimed, "HE STEPPED OVER THE YELLOW LINE!" The crowd of kids grew silent. Several younger coaches quickly came to the scene. The kid continued to point and make his statement known. One of the younger coaches looked around the crowd and asked (I'm paraphrasing), " Did anyone else see this egregious act?" Several children nodded their heads in affirmation. I explained the situation and said that I only took ONE step, just ONE step over the yellow line to get the ball. The coaches knew the rule. They repeated it in lock step all summer - NO CROSSING THE YELLOW LINE! I seemed to notice a devilish grin of excitement on the coaches face that was hidden underneath a look of both disappointment and trepidation. And with that, the coach quickly escorted me to the principles office. Since the principle was on the phone, she had me wait outside her office on a chair. The minutes that passed were filling me with anxiety. Nobody ever explained what the punishment was for crossing these yellow lines. I had never been sent to the principles office. Me? You have to understand that John Tinaza was your typical problem child who'd normally be sent to the principals office. Just know that he was kicked out of every school he ever attended and in my junior year at Chatsworth High he came on to the premises and punched the AP government teacher during class time. A police helicopter flew to the scene to assist the police cars searching for him. How has he managed to stay out of trouble at camp. BUT ME? If I killed an ant I was burying him in the dirt with a proper burial. Ask Charles Brooks, it's true. He was also our neighbor growing up. But there I sat... wondering my fate. When her called ended she told me to come in. She closed the door behind. I sat before her in a small chair while she sat ominously looking over me from her rather large leather office chair. As she began lecturing me on the merits of following rules she began to look behind her and above on a shelf that was to my fortune, empty. She said that her bar of soap was missing. She was insisting that I would be holding this bar of soap in my mouth had she had it available. Then she threatened to call my mother. I sat frozen. What would my mom think. Eventually the principal took mercy on me and told me the next violation would be soap and a phone call to my mom. So here I am 40 years later. I still think about that summer. If you're a parent it's probably a pretty good place for your kids and therefore I give them 5 stars, but given the technology and what kids now have access to, take this as a warning young people - DO NOT ASK YOUR MOM TO ATTEND THIS SCHOOL BECAUSE THE NEIGHBORHOOD BULLY WANTS YOU TO. My rating is 4 stars because we've had our issues with Kidsville in general... But I want to point out the following TOP NOTCH staff members: Miss Alice is awesome! She's kind, calm, helpful, attentive and I 10000% know my little guy is safe in her care, & he FEELS safe with her. To top it off you can tell she genuinely loves and cares for the kids! & helps my son with homework! Miss Ariana, always helps with homework, promptly answers texts, and cares for the kids she watches. My son said she's a nice teacher. Miss Evelyn, my baby thrived in her class! Every parent loves Miss Evelyn! She's sweet, consistent, clean, fair, loving, and patient as can be (even when I had a million questions!), and we were devastated when he had to leave her class! I have both of my kids at Kidsville my daughter is now in kindergarten. She started with Ms. Norma and had a great experience. She came in the middle of the school year and was welcomed. Ms. Norma was very structured and because of that my daughter was able to excel in her learning. She was very patient and kind. I love that she also teaches the kids Spanish. Even my son, who isn't in her class yet, feels happy and safe at drop off with her, she makes sure to make him feel comfortable participating with the other kids, which makes the biggest difference at drop off. He's currently in Ms. Zuri's class and loves it, and she is great with him as well. What a wonderful experience. We left a very bad place prior to coming here. We were so happy to find Ms Maureen and Kidsville. The happiness was so pure that we brought multiple friends with us to join. Our son had such an amazing experience all the way until graduation. He started in Ms. Norma's class and she was so great. She was so attentive and caring to the kids that I never had any worries on my mind. The kids were learning so much and felt so comfortable that they loved going to school. She also helped him transition into Pre-K/ Ms. Alice's class. There is so much to say about Ms. Alice. She is absolutely wonderful! What an amazing human being. She genuinely cares for these children as if they were her own. Besides that, she was so incredible in respects to curriculum. She made sure our son was ready to take over Kindergarten. He didn't want to leave the school specifically because of the amazing time he had in Ms. Alice's class and that alone speaks volume. My daughter Madeline has been attending Kidsville since she was just a year old. It was extremely tough leaving her with anyone other than family. I stayed on site for 3 days as the school's director Miss Maureen suggested. It really helped as it allowed me to see first hand the day to day routine, get to know the staff that would be looking after her and ensure my daughter was comfortable engaging with the other children. She is now 3 and a half and still attending Kidsville. She is well educated and always happy at pickup. She comes home with new songs, days of the week, counting to 100 and she is now starting to develop her penmanship. They have daily activities and potlucks for all the major holidays. The staff is extremely caring and they enjoy the children. I never worry about her while I am at work. I feel as safe leaving her at Kidsville as I do with my own mother. I am in touch with all of her care takers and chat often about her progress and any challenges she is facing. They are always pushing her into the next level of learning. The teachers are doing a great job because the results are obvious at home. My husband and I could not be happier with their service. We will be moving soon to Huntington beach and we are very sad to be leaving Kidsville. I hope I can find the same level of care and education near our new home. My kids have been attending Kidsville for about 7 years now, I have 5 children, who truly love attending. Ms Maureen does everything she can to make sure the kids are happy and heard. All the staff there know my children and they have made some pretty cool memories there. I want to give a special thank you to Ms Zuri, my youngest son was in her class last year and he is very attached to me and still cries at times when I drop him off, she made him feel safe and comfortable, she potty trained him and prepared her for Ms Norma's class! Thank you for that!! Now he is in Ms Normas class, and her all the staff in her classroom are amazing! I've witnessed how they work and they are a great team, in all honesty all the staff at Kidsville work as a team, the infant and toddler side always has activities and they sing and dance every morning, to me that's a great way to start a child's day, it can be hard for little ones to get dropped off very early while they're parent has to leave but the staff does everything they can to help ease that process for the kids EVERYDAY! And I mean everyday, it takes a lot of patience and skill to be able to do what they do! So thank you for making sure my little one smiles everyday! As a teacher I took great care in choosing a school for my kids. This is one of the best preschools in the valley. I have both my kids enrolled. My son has had a wonderful experience because there are wonderful teachers. He had Miss Rose, who is so loving and caring amazing human. He now has Ms. Zuri who is so nurturing and fun and the sweetest thing you'll ever meet. My daughter had Miss Norma who was also very nurturing and loving. Then she moved on to Miss Alice when she first got there she had some trouble making friends, and Miss Alice helped her build social skills, and taught her how to make friends. Not only did Miss Alice help my daughter socially, but she also helped her be ready for kindergarten. My daughter left her class, knowing all of her letter sounds, and the name of the letters she's ready to start learning how to read. Along with her numbers one through 100 and so much more. Miss Alice was heaven sent so thankful for her. I love this school because of the teachers, they provide a beautiful happy safe environment. Still think this school has the nerve to remove my review based on true facts that occur years ago. They decided to remove it so I'm keeping it here since this school likes to hide from the truth. Unprofessional staff left my brother with a staph infection caused by unclean diaper they claimed to change @ 4:50, but when my mother got him she smell vomit thinking he vomited but it was his unclean diaper that still had poop caked on his buttock. Left him a nasty sore thinking it was a rash he ended up with a nasty fever then the worse him when he broke out in sores all over his body. Took him to the ER and the ER doctor conformed he got it from this day care. The thing that I have appreciated the most about Kidsville is the child centered , loving environment that Ms. Maureen and most of the staff provide. There is always something happening: cooking, music class, dance class, crafts, sports and educational activities. They also now have summer field trips such as museums, skating, Universal Studios and many others. There are opportunities provided here for the kids that they would not get in many other programs or camps at this price point. The focus is really on the children in a way that is special. My child just finished his fourth summer there and was there for the 2020-2021 school year when school was closed. My child was very shy when he started here. That all changed with the time he spent at Kidsville. The friends that he has made here have been so encouraging and kind - I think that the kids pick up the habits of kindness that they learn here from Ms. Maureen and the staff. We are so grateful for the loving environment they provide for children of all ages. The last thing I would like to mention is that many of the kids start here as infants , go to preschool here and stay through their camp years. I am writing this review as a vistior and a parent who was highly considering this preschool for my 18 month old son. To start, Ms. Maureen the center director was very kind and informative. Loved the fact that she was an RN prior to an educator. School is very well maintained, classroom activies seemed aged appropriate, and overall organized. Center is secure (need a passcode to enter), parking is easy to access, Maureen is always easy to get a hold of. Kidsville was in our top 3 choices when it came down to finding a new center for our LO. We have tried several highly rated pre-schools on the west side of the SFV. With that said non have compared to the education our daughter received at Kidsville. She started at 3.5 years old and in just a couple of months she learned how to spell and write her name. By the time she went into the 4 yr old class she knew all of her alphabet, sounds, colors, shapes and was ready for sight words! The teachers really do care about their students progress. She left the 4 year old class writing sentences, reading, and started addition. She was more than prepared for TK and was top in her class. It was pretty much review for her. She is currently in Kindergarten and is reading, mathematics, and writing proficient. Now looking back I wish we kept her at Kidsville instead of enrolling her in the TK program at a local LAUSD school. Maureen the owner is caring, personable and knows all the children by name. She knows what the children need and how much they can grow in such a short amount of time. She believes in them and that is the best that any one can ask for. What is expected of these kids in Kindergarten blew us away. Our daughter is currently going to a 10/10 rated school. Now we know how valuable a good start is really worth. When my wife and I were looking for a daycare while we were on family leave. Alot of daycares around the Valley has thier pros and cons, but we didnt feel comfortable with all of them. One day going to Target we saw KidsVille, so we thought it wouldn't hurt to check another one out. When we came and waited to talk to the Director 4 parents told us that this is the place to be, so our expectations were high. After touring the facility and talking to the different teachers, we knew this is the place to be. There are definitely challenges that we had to over come with our daughter. They allowed a whining process to have us feel comfortable dropping her off and have our daughter feel comfortable with the teachers. Napping was an issue too, but the teachers would give up and look for tricks to nap her. So I appreciate thier determination. This is a great daycare/preschool for kids. My child has been going here since he was 7 months old and he's now 3. They have great day to day activities, nice play yard and best of all freshly made food service for lunch everyday. I'm very happy with the owner Ms.Maureen who takes keen personal interest when approached about anything. The school has great gymnastics and dance teachers who compliment the existing teaching staff. My son has been lucky to have had very loving and patient teachers who helped him learn as well as support him potty train. Kidsville has really made my life as a parent much easier and honestly has been a blessing for our family. For one, it's located near our home so that's great and they're open till 6pm which gives us more than enough time to pick up our 4yr old daughter after work. I am truly satisfied with their care and communication, and I look forward to her growing up in this environment. They have cool activities (I feel like it's pretty often she's telling me about a trip they took), they have a nice play area, and their food service is fresh. The staff is very friendly, and our daughter loves Ms. Farrah. She's really attentive and treats the kids like her own. Being our first school for our daughter, Ms. Maureen's availability to answer any questions or concerns my wife or I have has really made us at ease over the past year and a half. Just a few months ago, I was wondering how my Kindergartten daughter, Shami who had been at Kidsville since six months would succeed in one of LA's competitive independent private schools. But I am very relieved to say that she is doing a fantastic job thus far & I attribute it to Kidsville, USA. During our initial teacher-parent conference at her new school last week, we were told that she was not only doing a good job adjusting but she is also excelling academically. Kidsville has laid a successful foundation for our daughter & we are very grateful & confident that her youngest sibling will also follow her footsteps. We love Kidsville, USA the Director Ms. Maureen is very welcoming, considerate and hands on in all aspects of our children's well being. The school also has incredible teachers who genuinely care about kids and nurture them every single day from infancy [baby room to the last grade]. Love the diversity, summer programs, not to mention that it is open all year round from 6:30 am to 6 pm in a safe environment with an open door policy for any parent to drop in at any time as needed. I had my daughter here for a little over a year, she had started here when she had just turned 4 yrs old. It was a great experience for her, she learned a great deal of academics, made amazing friends and had an awesome relationship with the staff, she had graduated from Pre-K at Kidsville and it was very nice to see her go from only knowing her ABC's/123's ... To learning how to start reading, write her full name and other words, shapes, math addition, and just before she left was introduced to math subtraction... They said she was ready for 1st grade! She definitely bloomed academically with them. They also have a great summer camp program where they have various activities and weekly field trips. They also offer after school care. The hours are perfect if you work full time M-F as they are 7am-6pm. For an additional fee They offer karate class, soccer, piano, and every week a dance class (dance class is free). A few things I did not like but saw improvement was the student to teacher ratio, there are teacher assistants but sometimes there were just too many children for one class room, although I did see this improve. Overall I was happy to have my daughter there and may possibly send my son after he turns two, (after age two the price drops) depends if I'm still living right around the corner. read more

Very good place if you need a daycare. Miss Maureen is the best. My wife and I took our baby girl here and we both felt that our daughter got so much love from both Miss Maureen, the owner and from their friendly staff. During the time that our daughter was here she was under the care of Anita who is AWESOME! She made sure that our baby got the attention and care needed while my wife and I are at work. At times our daughter is difficult to feed and Miss Maureen personally made sure that she ate all her food. I remember a time that I picked up my daughter, I saw Miss Maureen personally feeding her and taking care of her. That is pretty impressive with the owner to do such things. This was our second day care and on the first day care which I ranked good for their cleanliness, the owner of that facility did not show the same type of love and caring that Miss Maureen gave our daughter. I also notice that the kids in her preschool program loved her so much. I would definitely recommend this place for your child's needs. read more

Kidsville usa is a wonderful school. Especially Ms. Kimberly Michel. She was my sons teacher. She is a god send and one of the most wonderful teachers i have ever come across. She helped my son in more ways than i can ever imagine and because of Ms. Michel my son learned how to read and was doing 1st and 2nd grade work. If it wasnt for this lovely lady i really dont think my son would have been ready to enter kindergarten. I owe ms.michel so much for what she accomplished with my son and never have i heard scream at the children. She is the most compassionate, caring and loving teacher that i have ever met.
