Stopped in to get a new Apple Watch. Sebastien assisted me in picking out the perfect model for what I was looking for. I wanted all the health bells and whistles. EKG etc. Sebastien was patient and very kind. He even took my blood pressure to make sure it matched up.... Also I will add...I knew I recognized him... he is also a nurse. He's a sweetie. So we picked the 10 and then he helped me with the wristband. After that Mindy took over grabbing my order when it was up and ready - she was great too! Helped get my watch all set up, went over all the cool features, and was super easy to understand and work with. I left feeling very taken care of. It's been a couple days now since I bought my Apple Watch 10 and I'm very happy with it. I love the Snoopy face setting!!! It's so fun! Makes me happy. read more

I needed to get a face scan for a new VR Headset called Bigscreen Beyond. I was using a friend's iPhone, but it would not work for me wirelessly. So I went to Woodland Hills Mall to the Apple store in Tulsa. The salesman was unhelpful and said they did not support the application (standard app on an iPhone) and were turning me away. I tried the face scan app in the store, and it worked fine. This is pretty much the only Apple store in about ~ a 300-mile radius, so you can't really complain too much. The store itself is located in a mall, is very compact, yet you'd see more employees than customers. They do require masks in the store. One of the luxuries of having this near you is that you could get things shipped to the store faster than to your home address. Make sure to have an ID if you're picking stuff up. read more

We have never had a reason to utilize the Apple Store in the decade or so of my wife and I having Iphones, but the day finally came that we needed a phone whisperer. My wife's phone totally shut down and would not respond no matter how many youtube videos we attempted to utilize to remedy the situation. Turns out it was a glitch in the Iphone 8 that is becoming more and more prevalent, so beware...that being said, we had no choice but to take the phone in to have it checked out. We contacted Apple online to set up an appointment, and they gave us an appointment 4 days away much to our dismay. The next day I called the number that was given for the store, and I was on hold for quite some time before they transferred me to the store. Once I got to talk to someone at the actual Apple Store in Woodland Hills Mall, they urged me to come in ASAP for a walk-in. They said they do a sort of urgent care, walk-in and wait time depends on how many people are there before you. I arrived around 4:20pm-ish and got my name on the list. They said it would be 45 minutes or so but it could be sooner and to have my phone at the ready. I walked around the mall a bit to admire all the vacant stores in this ghost mall...but that's a different review for a different day...I ended up getting a text about 15 minutes earlier than they quoted, and they got us in. We had a very helpful tech by the name of Jason. He hooked up the phone, diagnosed the problem, and replace the phone due to the glitch. The Iphone 8 has a 1 year warranty, and we had just purchased it a few months ago, so we were within that window to get a full replacement, thankfully. So, overall it was a good experience. I would just advise to go directly to the store and get on the wait list if you have an issue. They will help you out as quickly as they can. Oh, and PS, don't get mad if you see a bunch of workers up front standing around. They are there to help sell their products. The tech folks are in back, so it's not that they don't want to help you. read more

Store was full of customers and employees but still helped as soon as I walked in and had completed my pickup within 5 minutes. Great attentiveness and efficiency! Nothing really wrong with the employees, but Apple has really gone downhill with their support. I have an iPhone Pro 12 with a broken screen and a battery that doesn't last until 5pm with roughly 4-5hrs of screen time usage. I pay $10/mo for Apple Care+ and they wanted to charge me $30 for the screen plus $69 to "fix" their battery issues which would take them 2.5 hrs after being told by Apple Support it wouldn't be more than an hour. Apple Care offers an express replacement program for $100, but of course they won't do that in store. read more

I walked into Tye Apple Store and a girl named Sam helped me. She said there were no walk in appointments left, but scheduled me the next day at 11:30. I didn't want to bring my kids in so I hired a sitter and went into my appt. I was checked in, waited about 10 minutes watching all the blue shirt employees standing around. I finally asked about my appt and was told it was Sunday instead. I was given the wrong day by Adam and was told by the woman manager that there was one technician in all day, yet there are a bunch of employees standing around. it doesn't make sense. So they would not accommodate me and my sitter went to waste. customer service is awful. read more

I want to preface this review by saying that I'm not blazingly angry or anything like that; just a little sad, because I expect better from Apple. :( I went in seeking help for my iPhone XS screen. I only got it 2 1/2 weeks ago (11/24), & have tried to be very careful with it. I put an Otterbox Defender case on it (though it did not come with a built-in screen protector, the case edge extends about 2mm above the surface of the glass). This morning, I noticed a tiny scratch/crack, that I believe occurred from placing my phone face down on a gym floor so as to protect the glass from getting cracked/scratched/shattered. (There was no other spot to place it nearby. I think there must have been some dirt or sand on the floor, though.) I wanted to see if this was perhaps covered under AppleCare+ (which I was thinking of purchasing, as I'm still within the 60 days of my phone purchase), & did some research that indicated it was, under the accidental damage coverage (& it covers 2 such incidents at $29 each). When I walked in, it was very difficult to find anyone to help (I walked around the store & all employees appeared busy or otherwise occupied, & while I understand having to wait, in other Apple Stores the employees have at least tried to acknowledge/welcome me), and I finally walked back up to the front & waited for one of the greeters to acknowledge me. When I explained what brought me in, she suggested they could put a screen protector on, but that there was nothing they could do about the tiny scratch already there. When I asked about my options for fixing or replacing the screen (AppleCare, etc), she told me they could replace the screen for $279 (out of warranty, & she didn't think it was covered under accidental damage). I said no thank you & left. (Perhaps she was confused & only talked about the regular Apple Care, rather than AppleCare+, but it seems like mentioning that as an option would be helpful for both customers & company both.) I was greatly disappointed in this experience, compared to my previous visits to other Apple Stores, & will certainly not be returning to this one. I'll make a special trip to OKC to go to the Penn Square location, which I've always found to be extremely helpful, friendly, & welcoming. I didn't expect to have my screen replaced for free; I just wanted to have some help & reasonable options, & did not find or receive that here. read more

Long story short, I had thought I could upgrade RAM and Storage myself. No dice. I called Apple and they send to send it back in and order a new one. Seeing as I was gonna be in the US, I brought it back and got to the Apple Store in Woodland Hills in Tulsa. Adele was assigned to me and boy am I glad I met her. I know staff are supposed to be courteous, but Adele was exceptional. She was patient, zesty, friendly and fun to be with. She was very knowledgeable and professional, yet friendly in a fun kind of way. So good was she that when I came back later in the day to sort out issues with my son's iPad, I insisted on seeing her, and all the other staff obliged me. I love Apple's products like every other apple owner... Their customer service online is great but... The service in this store is horrendous. I came in to just trade in some iPads and someone assured me that they would help me out in 10 min. 10 min turned into 1 hr, and they weren't even packed. I had to approach someone who seemed like they were in charge about my inquiry and he assured me that I would be helped in 10 min. An additional 30 min went by and still, no one. I'm currently in the store while still waiting to be helped... the audacity of me right? This place is awful. I've been here for 2 1/2 hours with my sons. 1 hour was the wait to just to get to check in. Now we have been checked in for 1.5 hours standing at the "genius" bar. This scene is bizarre. We are waiting, not knowing if we are where we are supposed to be, trying to get confirmation, and the employees appear to strain not to make eye contact with customers who are waiting. I wish I wasn't tethered to a stupid iPhone, because Apple customer service sucks. Literally when you wait this long, you have multiple fantasy visions of smashing your freaking iPhone against the most expensive item in the store and hoping everyone in the store does the same. I've had good and bad here myself. The bad - when they used to use Macs to connect your phone to their diagnotistic tools, one of the "Geniuses" plugged my phone into their computer and it synced it and took control of it. I was furious. So much so that I spent over 10 hours on the phone with AppleCare (no joke!) getting my phone working again. The manager, after I reamed him, gave me free AppleCare for my phone and a fake apology. The store is way too small, too crowded, and too much chaos. If you have something to get done, you have to walk around people standing randomly waiting for appointments etc. And everything is crammed into a tiny space near the back so its 10x as bad. I would not be surprised if the store violated fire codes every time it was busy due to having too many people in the store. The "Geniuses" are not even close. I have been there quite a few times and I -always- know more then they do about their products, troubleshooting etc. Their idea of helping you is to plug your gadget into theirs, run some app, then it tells them to replace, repair, etc. They do nothing but stand around being "hip". Some of them are very nice, but I would put money on a bet that I can tech circles around any of their employees. I'm not bragging, I'm just being honest. I've used Apple products since the 80s. Most of their employees haven't even used their products for a few years, and some of them actually dont use Apple products. IMHO, if you hire someone on as a Genius, they should be using your tech, not Googles. Location - This is one of their worst offender bad issues. They are located at 71st and Memorial in Woodland Hills Mall. That is located at an intersection we Tulsans lovingly call "71st and Hell" because it is where all the crazy shopping and drivers are all the time. 2 of the most dangerous intersections in America, per State Farm, where both on this street, one being 71st and Memorial, the intersection where the mall is located. Even if you live nearby, its a 30 minute trip because of mall parking and walking to the shop etc. From my house on the other side of town, its 30-45mins just to get there. So, because of all the above, I only go in if I have no other choice. The good - As long as you have AppleCare, you will get taken care of. I highly suggest you first call AppleCare so your issue is on file and recorded. Many times AC themselves will fix it without a need to goto this store. If not, your case is now in their system and when you go in, they will look it up and many times just replace instead of putting you through their pony show of diagnosing your problem. Also, if you have AC on -anything- even if the device in question has none, mention the AppleCare to AC on the phone, they will look up, see you have 4 items with AC and 9/10 they will help you on the non-AC device as if you had AppleCare. In store however, its a different story. I recommend only going there if you have to. Their return policy is pretty good and they will many times give refunds or credit on items well past their return date. I've returned several horrible gadgets there with no problems. The self-check out is neat, except that you have no idea if they know you paid for it, and if you walk out you are going to be tackled. So I just ask someone to ring me up. Or order it online while in their store so it comes to my house. The only other good thing I can say is, the store is like all other Apple Stores, so you go into one, you can find the stuff you want no matter the city. Not a compliment as much as "consistency". Love Apple? This might be your fave place and it might not. But either way its pretty much a typical corporate "we are hip but are actually suits" store. read more

The absolute worst Apple Store I've ever been to. I had an 11:000 am appointment and arrived almost an hour early (my flight was early and I was able to get to the store earlier than scheduled appointment). My iPhone 14 pro was randomly shutting down every 2 to 3 minutes and needed servicing. I was told that they were on a tight appointment schedule and I would have to wait. However, there were absolutely no customers in the store and eight, yes, EIGHT employees standing around talking to each other doing absolutely nothing! I sat right outside the store, within feet as it's in the mall and there were seats in front of the store and waited and watched. These eight employees would greet customers as they walked in and if they needed service, they were also turned away. Clearly, they all work on commission and were wanting to only make sales. I was a regional sales manager and trainer and I can tell you from experience that in order for be a good sales person you also need to be a good customer service representative. Apple support told me to take my phone in and they would give me another phone as mine was less than six months old. However, the Apple Store representatives insisted that they repair it (which cost almost as much as the actual phone, so clearly they are making more money off repairing than replacing phones) and I had to wait for 3 hours to get my phone. I explained to the representative (Mark) that I just flew back from Houston after receiving medical treatment and I really wanted to get home as I was tired and sick, and was told that I would just bring my phone in for exchange. He didn't seem to care and insisted on the repair. In the future, when I want or need an Apple product, I will go to the Apple Store in Highland Village in Houston, Texas as they are real pro's. Apple should either have the Houston Apple Store retain the Woodland Hills store, or if they can't be retrained then let them go and hire a new staff that knows how to treat customers. read more

Apple sells excellent products, but is totally lacking in the customer service department. When I walked in, it took me several minutes to find a sales rep (they don't wear uniforms, or even name tags). Once I found the salesman, he told me he wasn't authorized to sell me the items I wanted (namely a Mac Mini and an iPod touch), and that I would have to wait an additional five minutes for a salesman authorized to sell me said items. When he finally arrived, I was finally able to purchase the products and leave. I found the service at this store to be horrific. Don't go here. read more

I order a MacBook online but I left off an upgrade to the memory that I needed. I called Apple after it was already shipping and they told me I could exchange it at the store. When I went there it was not that simple. Because I had ordered it wrong it wasn't in a configuration that they could put on their shelves and because I had ordered it with a student discount, the computer system didn't want to accept it. I am so pleased with this place because it took no less than 4 of them plus the manager of the store but they made it happen. It wasn't easy or quick but I left with exactly what I had wanted and didn't have to get snippy about it. They let me pay the difference and get the upgrade I needed. The Apple Store in Tulsa is so out of date and small compared to other Apple Stores in the US. The store is so crammed with people waiting for repairs, it is impossible to navigate through the store. The store in OKC is probably 3 times larger. Apple needs to update this store ASAP. I believe it serves as the major service center for Apple products in the region. read more

My iPhone 8 (which is barely 2 and a half months old) turned itself off on Monday morning and wouldn't come back up all the way. I Googled what to do and followed Apple's instructions from their help site and it went into recovery mode and never came out of it. Couldn't even restore it to factory setting - I tried everything I could find and spent 3 hours working on it. My husband made an appointment online for the Apple Store but the earliest appointment available was for Friday...uh, no. He called the Apple Store the next morning and they said they do service walk-ins all day on a first come, first served basis. We went after work and the guy that helped us (Jason) was super friendly and knowledgeable. Since my phone's issue was solely system based (he said it wasn't anything I could have avoided), and since it's still under the 1 year warranty, they were able to replace my phone for free. The entire diagnostic/phone switch process took about 20 minutes but they weren't mega busy (Tuesday night). Pretty pain free process, thanks Apple Geniuses! read more

I got AirPods for my birthday, after about two weeks one started to disconnect. I called support and went through all their trouble shooting, tried for a few days and still disconnected. Intermittent problem, called a second time and spent over 40 min on the phone, more trouble shooting. It was determined they needed to be replaced. Two options, shipped or pick up at the store, no brainer right, go to the store and get them now. I did, only to be told a tech had to look at them. It would take over a week to get an appointment with the tech. Exchange has already been approved, "a tech has to look at them" came home called support again (3rd time) the exchange AirPods are on their way and will be here before I would have. Gotten the appointment. I will never WASTE my time at that Apple store again. No need to, they are unnecessary, quicker better all around support over the phone. read more

This by far the worst Apple store I have ever been to. I've had every iPhone since the 5 came out. I am under my 1 year warranty and they would not replace my charger. I've gotten chargers replaced in the past in numerous different states and never had an issue until I visited the Woodland Hills Location in Tulsa. They take forever to help anyone out and the service is terrible. Seems like no one is happy to be at work and it seems like they were at work to ruin people's day. I would not recommend visiting this location. If you need any help through Apple you might as well do everything online because this location is no help at all. Just showed up to my APPOINTMENT I made last night , and I am once again ( the exact same thing happened several months ago) told I do not have an appointment and have to wait 25 to even drop my phone off to be fixed - I have an 8 month old baby which is why I made an appointment so I wouldn't have to stand around and wait - I don't know who is to blame, the store or apple website - but at this point I really do not care I am furious and wish Tulsa had another Apple Store so I wouldn't have to come back to this one . This place is usually packed, but I have been lucky several times to have my problem resolved without needing an appointment. If you know you have a big problem, set up an appointment or you will end up making more than one trip. I have had to have an appointment twice, there can be a wait even with that. I have never had to pay anything. The Apple store in Grand Central Terminal charges to do anything. read more

Once I got the text I went back and was then told to take a seat in the back and waited an additional 15 minutes.
