Loved this Applebees. The atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. Our waiter was very friendly, easy to talk to, and attentive without being overbearing. It's a great place to have lunch or dinner with your family or a friend. Plus the food was great. read more

Had a great 2 for $20.00 dinner here. Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp was excellent, with a generous, fresh side salad. Great service too.

Not usually one to complain but the food was either Burt and over cooked or seasoned to the extreme. Broccoli taste as though it was cooked in a salt brine. And to add insult to injury the apple fritter desert that was supposed to captain apples Carmel ice cream and fritter only contained a crusty fritter and ice cream. Two ceased salads order to go contained a few pieces of old lettuce in a box order to go. I would eat this food if they served it in prison. read more

Today, my boyfriend and I got lunch here and we were enjoying our date until my boyfriend had hair all up in his food! His broccoli was covered in long blonde hair! I have short brown hair!!! Service was mediocre and the churros were only okay..warm Hershey's syrup for the dip reheated from already being melted. Not worth a recommendation. read more

I am giving this 5 stars based on the service. The food was mediocre bar food at best but out server Amber M. was on point. Being in the service industry myself I can truly appreciate her patience with my very pregnant friend and my own high expectations. I usually have an good experience when I order, but I just tried to order lunch and was transferred 4x because they couldn't order what I wanted for lunch. I order it at least 1x a week and don't understand what the problem is. I also don't understand why I can not find the lunch menu on the website and had to find it on grub hub for work. After a youth hockey game a large group, approx 20 of us, went to this Applebee's for lunch. The service overall was fine but most of the food was terrible. We had someone with special dietary needs and the server asked the manager for a specific request for a dish and we were told "there is absolutely no way that can be done". The menu offered a skillet dish which included chicken, shrimp, onions, potatoes and mushrooms. The request was to substitute the potatoes and mushrooms for peppers and change the shrimp to steak, all of which were on the menu in other dishes, so we know they are available, yet we were told no. The dish came out with undercooked shrimp (yuck) which had to be sent back. One of the salads arrived with wilted lettuce, tomatoes that were mushy and cheeseburgers that were requested to be plain, were smothered in onions and some type of sauce. Jason, our server did replace those burgers free of charge, but now we had to wait after the rest of our party was leaving. We would not return to this location and wouldn't recommend it to others. read more

The last time I went to this location the server forgot to place our order of appetizers. It took an hour and a half for us to get any food. I would hate to have to wait for an actual meal. This time I went there with two friends. The server spilled a full glass of tea on my friend's lap. He was soaked but still laughing. When the bills came out, they not only charged him for his half price appetizer but also for the tea that they spilled on him. The other two of us willing paid our bills, but we asked for at least a discount or the beverage to be taken off the bill since my friend now had to drive home to change out of his wet clothes. The manager reluctantly took the $3 beverage off the bill but made him pay for his $4 appetizer. What restaurant ruins your night and then makes you still pay for your meal? Food is not the same that it use too be. However, you shouldn't expect much from an Applebees anyway. I only come here when one of my girlfriends is forcing it. Otherwise Applebees will not be the first or the second on my list. read more

I can not stomach this place anymore. We live nearby so we've been here about 10 times. Each time it has gotten worse. Servers have gotten things wrong but the worst part is the food is just terrible. The steak was completely tasteless and the chicken dishes are bland. I also got a mixed drink once and it was watery. It's really disappointing because we live so close and it would be a great variety of food and alcohol. It only it were good. read more

I had ordered take out during my lunch break on Friday. I selected from their lunch combo and got the French onion soup ( pretty good ) and the grilled chicken Cesar salad. The chicken in the salad was excellent it's a shame it didn't come with more but the real issue here was the romaine lettuce, wilted and in edible. Went there on a Sunday night with my family, not real busy, got a nice booth for all of us, the waiter was nice and polite, however we had ordered simple nachos with cheese melted on top for an appetizer, 2 orders, when we got them we all went for our drinks, I don't know what happened but I think the salt shaker top came off or something it was horribly too salty. Ugh, can I get some nachos with that salt, lol. Anyway food was the usual, ok, I feel like they got a little cheap on the quality of food over the years, but hey, it's just applebees. I won't go back, I've had a worse experience at the folsom one. No more applebees for me. read more

Food was ok but I have never been so rushed at a restaurant. Waitress asked if we needed take out boxes before we had a chance to get the second bite of food in our mouths. Check was dropped off within 5 minutes of getting entrees. I understand trying to turn the table but that was ridiculous. Food in menu did not look anything like what showed up at the table. Went for dinner last night...place not crowded at all. Was seated and was never acknowledged by anyone after being seated. After 15 mins, I asked the hostess who was cleaning the table behind us for a waitress. She replied, "I'll tell them" however she continued to clean the table. After 5 mins, we decided to leave & on our way out I stopped at the hostess stand where there were five ladies standing around. I told him it's pretty sad that we were sitting there for 15 minutes and never acknowledged and that we were leaving. Not one of these women apologized to us or said anything, they just looked dumbfounded. It'll be a long time before I go back here. read more

Restaurant cannot handle simple orders. Food and staff terrible. Drive ten minutes to Brinton Lake Shopping Center for much better options.

I go here at least once a month, and they are always polite, prompt and professional. The food is great for the price, and there are always great deals. The staff are pleasant to interact with, and the facility is always clean. love it here! read more

I am not a picky person when it comes to service or food, but this applebees is far from offering an enjoyable dining experience that often co exists naturally with family dining. The service was awful. I came back hopeing that maybe it was just an off night for the server but after a few trips back and other friends collaboration of experiences the outcome was clear, drive to Ridley applebees or the one in Delaware. The food is ok, but the behavior of the employees is far from acceptable. They talked about smoking weed and getting wasted and such, things I dont necessarily have a problem with except the fact my 6 year old niece heard all of this. Save your time and money and drive the extra 15 mins for a better applebees....or just go to McDonalds, it has better service. read more

the tables are always sticky when I sit down at my table even if they are wiped off it seems they're permanently sticky. also in the 2 for $20 deal, the chicken lime and rice meal the chicken seemed fatty and not cooked all the way. read more
