We went in winter but I'm sure it's packed in summer. The Crab Cake Sandwich is a must. It's actually full of lump crab meat instead of just being a bunch of breading and filler. We also got the Loaded Cheese Fries and they were total comfort food. The portions are huge, Great service and we even forgot our cell phone and they kept it for us to pick up. Wonderful group of people.

If you want a four top and two top tables together to seat 5, you have to sit in the land-side dining room. Service after seating was pleasant and helpful. Menu items vary from bar food to upscale dining choices, old school to trendy. The standout here was the old school clams casino. The flavors were nicely balanced and enjoyable. We would order these again and it's probably the only thing that would bring us back. We tried the fried fish sandwich, roast beef dip sandwich and roast pork sandwiches. All of them were generously large and 1/2 sandwich was enough to satisfy. While the roll was delicious and the fillings plentiful, they just did not have enough flavor.

We were semi-self service in the restaurant because it was only 1 person working in the front. I felt really bad for him. He took sometime to order and brought the food out. Nevertheless the food was good. The mussels were flavorful. The sauce was white-wine base. Very unique. It came with the garlic bread on the side. I highly recommend to try. The wings are tender and juicy inside, good texture, not dry. Many tables and seats inside. Bathroom is ok. Street parking. Overall a good place to watch sports and get rowdy with tasty food.

Tap 24 was the one that had dining area right in front of the entrance with huge large glass window, so we were able to enjoy the beautiful summer day while dining. The dining space was not as big as regular restaurants, few tables in front for larger groups and smaller ones were further inside across the bar. The bar huge though where most people hung out. They also had a game viewing area in the back. But though out the place there were several TVs that had the game on. The menu had plenty of popular American style dishes. I got to try the chicken wings and mussels for appetizers. Both were excellent. My friends loved their sandwiches and salmon dishes as well. All the dishes were served within a short wait time. The bartender was serving our table as well. He did really good job. We had a wonderful time hanging out with everyone while dining and watching the game.

You come off a Little League field hungry, dusty, and in no mood for something that tastes like it…read morewas assembled by committee. We skipped the usual chain nonsense and found Barnaby's instead. Luck, maybe. Or instinct. Either way, it paid off. The place has bones. Stone walls, a lived-in feel, and a room full of people who look like they've been coming here long enough to have a seat without asking. It's loud in the right way. Feels honest. Now the food. The wings--here's the truth. These are the kind where they split a full wing and call it two. That's a ding. Always will be. And the sauce? A little flat. Not bad, not offensive, just... didn't say much. At least it didn't try to melt your face off, which counts for something. But the rest of the meal? That's where this place earns its keep. Crab cakes that taste like crab, not filler. Mashed potatoes that didn't come out of a bag. Vegetables that had some life to them. And a burger built like it had something to prove--juicy, stacked, and handled right. The kind of plate that shows up and you know you made the right decision. Service sealed it. Our waitress--sharp, funny, moving like she's done this a thousand times and still enjoys it. You don't see that much anymore. She made the whole experience better without making a show of it. Bottom line: wings need work, no question. But everything else? Strong. Real strong. This is the kind of place you circle back to next time you're in the area--and maybe even make the trip for on purpose.

We've had some great experiences and some okay ones, but nothing like what we experienced tonight. We came in to get drinks and appetizers as a party of three and were accused of providing fake IDs, despite all of our IDs being real. Our party consisted of a 28, 25, and 23 year-old - one of these being a first time customer. After greeting our waitress, trying to order drinks and giving our IDs, the waitress accused two out of the three of us having fake IDs (which is completely false.) We asked to speak to a manager and tried to explain the situation, as we were confused and upset considering we usually enjoy our visits to this location and were being falsely accused of a crime. While speaking with the manager, our concerns and feelings were dismissed, and then we were asked to leave after being told that the restaurant has the right to refuse service to anyone and started using profanity towards us. While we understand that they are legally able to refuse service to anyone for any reason, we were simply trying to clear up the accusations being made against us. We were asking for our IDs to be rescanned or for some further action to be taken so we could prove they were valid and receive service. We would have even been fine with authorities coming in to scan our IDs to verify their validity. We are deeply upset and disappointed by what we experienced, and it has completely ruined our perception of a place we genuinely used to love. No amount of cheap food and beer deals is worth going through what we just experienced. Never in my life have I felt the way this restaurant made me feel tonight. I know this review will probably get lost among many others, but I simply cannot stay silent after what we went through tonight. The customer service was poor, and there was little effort made toward reconciliation or customer satisfaction. As saddened as I am to say, we will never be coming back to this establishment again after what we went through tonight.
