Very slow service and server kept avoiding eye contact when trying to get ahold of them. Asked for a medium rare steak and it was fully cooked... table next to us had their steak re-done 3x before they ever got it right. Definitely won't come back. This part of my comment is directed @ corporate organization. Why have you messed with Oriental Chicken Salad? Not great any longer. No mandarin oranges, no onions, skimping on the dressing. The dressing has flavor difference. The chicken product is down in quantity & low quality. Amount of salad has diminished overall. You've ruined a once great entree, along with most of your menu. I ha te the way one staff member takes your order, but someone from the kitchen delivers it to my table. Just never a smooth idea. This makes 3 times @ 3 different cities I''ve had trouble with the dressing not being enough & I abhor sloppy amounts of salad dressing! As for the local vibe, I enjoyed the Blue Island cocktail. I wasn't impressed with your employees. Seemed to be plenty on duty, but it took 10 minutes to get our assigned staff to our table initially. Had to ask for appetizer plates be brought to table. Problems with too little dressing on entree salad after I told wait staff to make sure the dressing was on salad, one breadsticks came out later, but they are excellent. read more

This applebees has really improved . Me and friends went the other night and all of said our food was really good . The guys had the rib eye special for 21.99 they said wow so good . I had the margarita chicken and it was so good . My other friend had the ribs she said she will definitely order again . read more

We haven't eaten here in years and now I'm reminded why. First of all: years ago the restaurant threw out all of our friend's family member's items that were contractually to be returned if the restaurant was renovated without so much as an apology. Then we ordered some $13 salads -- ordered online carside to go: chicken Caesar and oriental chicken. There was MAYBE 1 chicken strip cut up in each salad...hardly any chicken at all. And I ordered extra dressing: was charged for it but no extra dressing. I should have known better but I guess this was a good reminder as to why we don't patron this establishment. read more

Terrible service. I took my family to the Clinton, Mo location on 7/8/22. We were seated, then waited for 15 minutes and no wait staff came to even offer us a drink. Meanwhile the wait staff stood around talking to what I assume were there friends sitting at a table. After 15 minutes we walked out and went to El Camino just up the street. I travel a bit and often stop in at the local Applebees if it is handy. If you read my reviews you will see I have been in several. It's an Applebees, I don't expect a lot, But this is the worst Applebees I've ever been in. The burger that I ordered pink came out hard dry and over cooked, While it is rare to get a burger pink even when you order it that way. I have never had one come out this over cooked and dry. Usually if they are well done they are still moist and flavorful. On top of it everything was over salted. . I had sat at the bar and never got any place setting so I ate my broccoli with my fingers. I tried to get the bartenders attention but finally gave up. So bad food, bad service, I will not be back. read more

It's our wedding anniversary, however, I have been working a ton of overtime, so we decided to order carry-out from Applebee's. Usually this Applebee's serves fantastic good but tonight was the farthest thing from that. Our loaded pub fry app was very skimpy, not to mention soggy and mildly cold (we live a quarter mile from the store so travel time was not the issue). My wife's pasta had literally a pinch of bacon in it. The shrimp on my Parmesan steak n shrimp was overcooked and rubbery. My son's grilled cheese was even moderately crunchy. I have never been much a complainer as far as food service is concerned bc I worked in this industry for quite some time. However, to spend the better end of $100 on food for it to be this lackluster is beyond frustrating!! read more

It use to be such a nice place. Lost all the good staff and the new replacements are horrible and loud. What good is the food when you have 4-6 waitresses just chattering behind you constantly. Went to Applebee's today and the experience was horrible, we got sat down after waiting 10+ minutes for a host when they weren't even busy. Then when we got our menus our waitress acted like she didn't even want to wait on us. I ordered the new garlic parm boneless wings and my grandfather ordered the half slab of ribs. Our waitress comes back and informed us that the kitchen was out of ribs but he could do the riblets platter. He ordered that. THEN SHE CAME BACK AGAIN AND SAID "My mistake were out of those as well" my grandpa ended up ordering the bourbon street steak (Medium rare) when our food came out I only got 8 boneless wings total nothing else on the plate no fries anything when I asked if it came with fries and got told yes My grandpas steak was Well Done. And we never saw our waitress again. It was a horrible experience. Will not be returning for a long while. read more

This is honestly the best Applebee's I've ever eaten at. To say the least, I was actually shocked the first time we tried it. Generally, big chains food is generic and a lot of times just not fresh. Every single time I have eaten at this location the food is hot, and the service is on point. I enjoy eating here and enjoy the fantastic service we get every time. read more

Be very careful with children at this restaurant. We just left and my children were helping my 2 year old go to the bathroom. After a 3 hour car ride we're loud (could not be heard outside). A waitress and manager were in one stall and very inappropriately yelled at my children to shush now until they were upset and came running out. When I went in to find out the problem she resumed giggling. They came out of the bathroom with heads turned hiding. The waitress then came to our table (she was our server) and apologized saying ANOTHER manager would be over to talk to us. At the end as we were leaving, the original manger came over yelled at her employee in front of a restaurant full of people that she was talking and she needed to leave (she was cleaning a table). And then proceeded to lie about the events and that there wasn't two of them while the waitress stood there. The continues to tell us the waitress was lying (her own employee) we also watched them go I and come out of the stall together. My daughter is in tears and refuses to over to go back after she already suffers from anxiety. I refuse to Ever go back and I do not agree that she should be in charge of employees that she mis treats. I will be taking this higher. This is unacceptable. Also those 3 children's meals magically did not arrive until everyone had eaten. This is not okay. read more

What is an "applebee". Overall it is defined in character by friendly service. The water overfloweth with suspicious lemons, even if one asks to leave them out. The $10 steak chews like a $3 and they might mix up an order of chicken tenders, but they'll always apologize and flash you a smile. And you still can't beat 2 for $20. read more

Great experience. Started with a call for carry out. Took my order perfectly. Rolled up and they came right out to my truck. Paid and got a nice fresh salad. Shrimp cooked just right. Great flavor overall. This Applebee's gets it. I surprised her with a great tip. Love great service. read more
