Travel for work. Been eating here twice a month for 4 years when I'm in town. Never an issue. One employee has now changed my opinion. Barb likes to start cleaning the bathrooms an hour and a half before they close, and will deny you entry to them for the rest of the night. Even when the manager makes her let you use the restroom, she will complain about you having bodily functions. Unacceptable attitude, and unacceptable to close your restrooms an hour and a half before you close. Gave a 2 star instead of 1 for the 4 years of good service. read more

I ordered an ordered to go. When I arrived, they gave me the orders and as I walked outside, I noticed it was not all what I ordered. I went back in, went through two staff members, and the bartender was intent on telling me this was what I ordered. I said no it's not. She went back into the kitchen and came back with my order. She didn't say they were sorry, offer me a free drink or anything. I wasn't impressed. I just moved back to DL after many years away and thought I would try Apple's. This was my first time here and only the host was on the ball. Server slow with drink order asked for a double got a single and I'm ok with that policy as long as I'm not billed as two my date's food was warm at best and then microwaved for a minute to warm pasta with Alfredo sauce and chicken. After microwaving the chicken was tougher than it was and not as enjoyable we did table to take it home so nobody else would have to ever eat anything like that that's why I'm writing this review They need to step up their game. Rhonda was our server. Very friendly and on top of everything. Kudos to her for her on her 3rd day of work! Shrimp Alfredo was excellent says my faithful husband and companion in crime. I had the Tex mex shrimp bowl. Was interesting. Well done and well made. I enjoyed it. Shrimp was excellent rice was awesome. But because of my preferences I would like the salad separate so if you don't mind them all together the bowl is the way to go. Horrible service, there was only a few tables and the service was as if there was a full restaurant. The air conditioning was on full blast that it was so uncomfortably cold to sit there. And the wait staff wasn't the most pleasant. I ate one bit of my burger because I hated it and not one comment was made by our waitress about it. Would never recommend this restaurant. read more

Our visit started out a bit bumpy after ordering drinks that were taking what seemed like forever. The manager quickly came over and apologized for an error and immediately corrected the mistake. Dinner arrived quickly and was delicious! Definitely visit! read more

Worst service I have ever had at a resultant. They took over and hour to get our food not to mention half hour to get drinks and then they forgot out appetizer all together. The then put it in a to go box and I complained to the manager but he did nothing to help. Why do we need appetizers when we are leaving. No customer service from the manager at all. read more

I was going to give this place one star due to the service. The first time I ate there the food was pretty good but the service was awful. We waited it seemed like 20 minutes for our food and after we got it our glasses were never touched again by the staff until presumably the table was cleared. The waitress made it seem we were a bother and in the way of her getting off (We saw her when she took the order and when she brought the checks) The only reason I ate here a second time is because of the limited choices to eat in Devils Lake and my friend still had money on a gift card. This waitress was soooo much better. So that's why I'm leaving the review at 3 stars. read more

The food was ok but the service was terrible. I ran into the waitress when we for there in the bathroom putting on her makeup. She must have showed up to her shift late. Nice work on service at the bar. Beverages came quickly and food came as requested. Bourbon Street steak skillet was very good. Todd S does a great job at making sure drinks are your meal are taken care of. Waitresses Sam and Chelsea are very friendly and courteous. Nice work! read more

My wife and I visited here the other night. We ordered French onion soup and drinks before our meal. We received the drinks immediately, but after a half hour, we were told the soup was frozen so they didn't have any. 20 minutes later (now 50 minutes after ordering) I received my meal, but we're told that my wife's meal was still on the way. I devoured my plate and we waited yet another 15-20 minutes and still, no food for my wife. I tracked down the hostess because our server had not been seen since we ordered. I requested an update and refills. I was told she would check on it, but then she disappeared as well. We waited quite a while longer before requesting to speak with the mgr. it took another 20 minutes for the mgr. to show up and apologize. She did comp my meal, but there is no excuse for the length of time it took to get through this ordeal, only receive half of an order, and never a refill. I came in with a party of ten on Friday night at 6pm and we were seated immediately. Our waitress was very friendly and the service and the food was excellent! I had the Fiesta Lime Chicken and it was fabulous! I will definitely be going back to Applebee's again soon! read more

Service is horrible, there is a couple good servers, Shannon, Chelsea and Scott are very good! But whenever they're not there I am often disappointed with a poor dining experience. Service is very slow and they need some service and customer service training. read more
