In terms of seeing her solely for annual checkups I have no issues recommending her. Never had any…read moreproblems with making an appointment, getting in and out of her office is fairly quick. However, in terms of bedside manner due to having a hysterectomy I would suggest finding another doctor. Upon waking up from anesthesia she told me of other issues during surgery, which was quickly forgotten as I was JUST waking up and coming back to. I had a bad reaction to the anesthesia (not her fault) and wasn't able to keep food down. Thinking she'd give me something through my IV to help with that, she didn't. What she did was keep the dose the same for hours and made me suffer while not being able to keep any food in my system for almost an entire day. At discharge I was given a really strong pain reliever (oxycodone). 3 days after being discharged I had a terrible reaction to it, extremely severe migraines. So resting after a hysterectomy wasn't even possible because then I had to deal with my head splitting in half. She had me go to her office, I brought the bottle with me to show her I wasn't abusing it, to be told there was nothing she could do and take motrin. I ended up in the ER that night due to the pain and fear of not wanting to have to take the pain reliever and motrin not being enough to help me sleep. ER gave me something milder (hydrocodone) to take and told me to follow up with my doctor to get the remaining supply as it's a narcotic. I went back the next day, brought both bottles with me to hear the doctor tell me that she can't give me the narcotic that worked. What she could do was give me Tylenol 3 which would be 'good enough', they took the oxycodone while I was in the back and supposedly flushed it themselves, I don't know as they didn't do it in my presence. I went and filled that, couldn't sleep. Felt very caffeinated and awake. Following day I was back her office, at this point I couldn't even speak to a nurse over the phone and the receptionist couldn't get me in the office, "all she could do was take messages" so I just went there and demanded that I was seen. I was seen within 30 minutes, given the spiel again about how "the pain was in my head" and "I've filled so many prescriptions now that she'll get red flagged". Both of those things---not my problem. I had a surgery and not even a week after being discharged I'm left to feel that I'm both a drug addict and making up pain from my stomach being just cut into and organs removed. With all of the problems I've had over having a surgery I would definitely recommend going elsewhere as her sole interest is in revenue, not the patient.
