The space is updated, and a number of people mentioned how nicely it was decorated. There is street parking all around, and a couple of lots further down the street. FYI: As with other rental spaces, there is a list of items that you can't use in the space - candles, confetti, etc . . ., but they have it all listed on the website under the FAQs, so you know upfront what you are getting into. Also, you have to clean the space when you are finished using it, not a big deal, just make sure you factor that into the rental time. If I were in need of this kind of space again, I would definitely use this space again.

The owner is great at communicating and gets right back in touch with you. I'm so very pleased!!

I always find a new path, or swing or something. Additionally I could sit and watch the birds all day! The cardinals and big blue jay and woodpecker and the list goes on and on. The birds flock to the feeders and I could sit and watch them all day. The also have a pool, hot tub and sauna which are a real treat! It is also conveniently located to the Minneapolis and a super easy drive. I'm looking forward to going back in the winter!

He also gave us a wood ring that we could fill up with any lavender and this was included in the price we paid beforehand. When we went there was tall and short lavender plants (the names are escaping me) and a white lavender which was unique! It was extremely hot but we enjoyed taking in the smells of the lavender and admiring all the busy bees. There is a cute shop onsite with different things made from the lavender grown just feet away!

We had such a great experience with the Phoenix Hall Event Center. My sister in law wanted a…read morespacious and modern venue for her baby shower and this place was really perfect for it! I was surprised to find out that the ceiling drapery was included in the rental, it was just gorgeous! There were also several tables and high tops included that we were able to dress up with table cloths and decorations. I believe there were about 120 people in attendance and it felt like we could fit at least 50 more if we wanted to. The kids had a blast in the back kitchen area where there were arcade games, while the adults socialized and sipped mimosas. The venue let us bring in our own alcohol and food which saved thousands of dollars not having to hire a caterer. There was also a large dedicated parking lot for the event center which was really nice, especially when we needed to be close to the doors to load in and out. Overall, I give 5 stars for the Phoenix Hall Event Center. If you're looking for a beautiful, yet affordable venue in the Lakeville area that allows the flexibility to bring your own food and alcohol, this is a lovely option!

I've been coming to the Dakota County Fair for a few years now, and it always feels like the…read moreperfect prep for the Great Minnesota Get-Together! One thing I really appreciate is that general admission is free... a nice change compared to other county fairs. There's also free street parking available, or you can pay to park in the lot. The fair has all the staples: lots of food vendors, barns with animals, non-food vendor booths, live music on multiple stages, and a ride/game area. Classic fair fun! The night I went was a bit warm, so we didn't try as many foods as usual. We started with cheese curds (served hot and super tasty), then a slice of spicy pickle pizza-- not bad, but not the best either. We ended the evening with a chocolatey whoopie pie, and that was seriously yummmOOO! One area that could use some improvement, though, is the bathrooms. They definitely need a bit more attention-- updating, cleanliness and upkeep could make a big difference in the overall experience. Suggestion: Please highly consider adding a water fountain/refill station for water bottles. Still, it's always a fun time, and I'm sure I'll be back next year!
