Unfortunately our family has had three funerals within the last two years. During a time of family grieving they provide a full turn-key service and really relieve much of the burden that a funeral brings to a family. Full funeral service including cemetery coordination and headstone selection where applicable are provided and assistance on the post funeral gathering for family and friends including location and meal coordination. Very conveniently our family was able to pay for the majority of the expensives with one check to the Mortuary. Tom and his staff have been very professional and reasonable. Body prep and casket selection could not have gone any better. All three funerals were open casket. They assist with obituary prep and posting in local newspapers and broadcasting notification of funeral services on the local radio. We also want to express on very very sincere thanks to Sherry who coordinated our first two funerals, she is a consummate professional wrt to funeral prep and activity planning. Other mortuary's we deal with in the future, outside of Wisconsin, will have a very difficult time living up to this high standard set by Burnham-Ours Funeral Home here in Chetek Wisconsin. We had a beautiful service at Chippewa Valley Cremation Services & Celebration of Life Center…read moreearlier this month. Parking was a breeze but gps directions weren't that straightforward. You'll need to take Devney Drive rather than N Hillcrest. The facility was clean, bright and the layout was practical. There are a couple of bathrooms and a nice outdoor area. Matt and the entire staff was so very supportive and took care of everything. It was a pretty seamless process. All of the AV worked great for the photos, snacks and coffee looked fine as well. I'd recommend them if you're in need of a venue for a celebration of life.
