Customer service is nonexistent. Time management sucks calls you with a 20 min window, if you can't make it than he reschedules for the next day. April 4, 2020: I cannot say enough good things about Larry Siebe, owner of Appliance Doctor. Let me give you the scenario: After 5 p.m. on a Saturday evening I realized that the compressor on my GE upright freezer wasn't working, putting about 20 cubic feet of our granddaughter's perishable breast milk at risk. With no freezers available in the entire city, Larry came out and fixed it...after 7 p.m., on a Saturday, and ON HIS BIRTHDAY!!! And all for an agreeable price! This man has more than four decades' worth of experience doing this and you should definitely consider using him. I cannot recommend any more highly! read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! This man is disrespectful and rude. I requested he put on his mask in my home and he replied NO! He has been to my home for the 4th time and every experience has been unprofessional. He thinks it's ok to yell at customers. I reported him to American Home Shield every time he left my home. This last time I demanded that AHS put me through to someone higher up, and he even yelled at the agent when she told him to put his mask on in the homes of customers. He yelled at her and told her no he will not put on a mask. He is disrespectful! I no longer will allow him in my home!!!!! read more

Was scheduled a warranty repair from an outside source with Appliance Doctor. Called to confirm the day of. Was rude and said he would not come fix the fridge the day it was scheduled. After trying to contact outside source called back to confirm with Appliance Doctor that the appointment had not come through late. Received a call back with owner yelling stating "I won't fix that fridge for you. It is in your home now you need to be responsible for your own problems". Go any where else. Save your money, and your time AVOID! They will argue and yell at you without a care!! Worst customer service I've ever come across!! Was screamed at over the phone because they didn't show up at 10am yet I waited till 4:30pm to call and see why. Only to have the guy yell at me for calling at 4:30 and not earlier, along with he arguing that I never called them about rescheduling after they were missed the first time. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Was contracted to us through American Home Shield warranty service. Hottest part of the summer so far. Not in touch with smart thermostats. Spent 10 minutes inside our home and told us it was our fault our air conditioner was having a problem. THEN DID NOT REPORT HIS INABILITY TO HELP US TO AMERICAN HOME SHIELD. OUR CLAIM WAS LEFT OPEN FOR TWO WEEKS. No AC for two whole weeks, thinking we did something wrong. New contractor came out after calling back in to Home Shield. Helped us and identified the problem in the AC unit within 15 minutes. So so so disappointing. read more

Absolutely terrible service! The guy showed up to my house when I wasn't even there to look at my air conditioner. Called me after he looked at it and that the compressor was bad. Had two more companies come out after the fact to double check it and they both told me the compressor was completely fine it was just the breaker was bad which I stated when I called that it was tripping the breaker. read more

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. Very rude guy. We were going through a third party warranty service for our washer. My wife was dealing with them and felt that she was getting the run around so she just wanted to call the appliance company to confirm he was coming out on the scheduled date since she works nights. He proceeded to yell at her and tell her he denied the service and wasn't coming out at all. So I came home to my wife crying in the bathroom so I called this guy (calmly) to make sure I got the whole story. He then tries to yell at me, whining about how he hasn't been in the shop since 11. - sorry bud no sympathy from me; I get up @ 4 every morning. He then yells at me saying he has more important things to worry about than some washing machine. Go elsewhere!!! Don't give him anymore time than I wasted with him! read more
