Well, here is another 5+ star review for Richard! I did promise I would write a review, and I finally getting around to it!! There are so few good people in this town for any repairs or anything it's almost impossible to find anyone, but this is a rarity. He does do appliance repair, but not refrigerators. He does garbage disposals, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, and stoves and ranges. He is honest, he has incredible integrity, and even though he wasn't able to fix my machine because I need to get another one unfortunately. I had a Maytag/Whirlpool, which they are not any good anymore. He reminded me how wonderful speed queen is and I have those at my commercial building but had forgotten. I didn't know that they were available for a home so he really save me tremendously with that advice. I went out and got one right away. Can't wait till the dryer breaks so I can get a speed, queen and have a set!!! He also took time while he was here to explain how to use my fire extinguishers, and how to keep them up and check them each month, as well as cleaning out the filter on my dishwasher, which I was unaware of and discussing some other things with me. I cannot say enough great things about him. He reminds me of the people back home where we had a really great workers and hard workers. You will not find that here in this town. If you get this guy, you are lucky. I will always keep his number in my book and call him for anything in the future. I spoke with the owner of Appliance Science, Richard, on December 3 2024 to determine the cost of repairing my Kenmore stackable dryer. Based upon my conversation with him I'm confident that if he can repair an appliance he will tell you and give you his best price. He does work on Kenmore dryers but did not have the experience to deal with a dryer that stopped functioning associated with dryers steam dry function. Rather than charge me for coming to my home and try to diagnose and fix a specific problem we talked about a number of different alternatives including but not limited to purchasing a new dryer. The end result is that I'm going to look for a new dryer. If you're looking for an honest business to do work on your appliances at a reasonable price, I highly recommend Appliance Science. read more

My experience with this business was not favorable. We have need of what is likely a straightforward adjustment or repair on a fairly new washing machine. Upon describing the issue with the repairman at this business via phone he replied he did not know if he could fix it. Given that there are plenty of remedies for this very problem on the internet for those who wish to repair it themselves, that came as a bit of a surprise. He then said given we don't live far away he would come and look if we gave him 80 dollars when he showed up. Needless to say we declined his somewhat less than generous offer. read more

Was in a crunch for an electric dryer because I moved into my new house in the area which I am renting and come to find out there's no gas line outlet in my wash room for my gas dryer. I went here and received 5 star service from Leppe appliances. Came in for the Memorial Day sale and got hooked up on a nice refurbished electric dryer. Fully cleaned out lint vent to feel at ease. Very reasonable prices compared to other places in the area. Locally owned too. read more

We had a flooding situation from the washing machine, just a day after a problem with the filter (which was an adventure to clean). Louis came out and took care of the problem, helped me with the drainage hose for the filter, and even went above and beyond by getting the oven door apart so I could clean some ugly streaks that were embedded between the layers of glass (and that had been driving me kind of crazy as I kept trying to clean them from the outside and inside of the door with no success - I'm house sitting). He did all this with good humor, efficiency, offered other input on a few kitchen issues, and was overall superb to work with. Fantastic customer service! We purchased a used fridge from them. It failed after several weeks. They warranty repair or replacement. They gave us a loaner while they replaced the compressor. A few weeks later it failed again. They invited us to pick out another fridge as replacement of equal or greater value. There was only one that was equivalent (they are a smallish business), and it was a bit more expensive. They cheerfully gave us that one as replacement. All deliveries were done by them, and they were courteous and very apologetic about our inconvenience throughout. I get it - things break sometimes. When my mom's washing machine broke down I began searching for a good second hand machine to replace it. I came across Leppe's listings online and gave them a call. I spoke with Lewis who was friendly and easy to talk to. I felt comfortable asking all of my questions and never felt like I was getting a hard sell. He was honest and explained their warranty to me. I felt very at ease purchasing the washing machine without actually having to drive the 45 miles to see it. Because of the warranty I knew I wouldn't be stuck with a machine that didn't work. Lewis delivered it the same day, hooked it up, took the old machine away and even gave me a trade in discount! In the future if I am ever in need of an appliance Leppe will be the first place I call.
