I, of course, called after being told I can no longer go to the same doctor anymore and was told well that would mean I can't get my prescription refilled and I immediately am done taking the same medicine I've been taking since high school and I need to find a different doctor... pretty much saying I'm not their problem anymore! After back and fourth phone calls all day and different stories as to how they came to this decision. I pretty much found out the office got audited in some way because of prescription they have been prescribing (I'm guessing the wrong way) and now pretty much are just going to get rid of the patients they must have messed up the paperwork on. The whole situation is very strange to me and I just want to warn any future possible patients to please reconsider because this office only thinks of you as a number and not a person anymore. Firefly, however, said they needed to confirm the reimbursement amount and were having trouble getting through to Aetna. This was dragged out by both Firefly and Aetna to the point of being unable to get someone out to change a time-sensitive dressing. A complaint has been filed with a request for Aetna to cancel their contract with Firefly due to breech. We are going to continue following up to reach a resolution. Note, however, how many of the positive reviews are employee reviews and not client reviews.
