It will NOT let me leave zero stars but zero is being generous! I was contacted by insurance to order dme from them and insurance would cover 100% I was then told by apria I had to have a rx for them. Ok Sent rx to the fax number given. 2 days later they have no idea who I am or what I need. Jay said it had to be submitted via a portal. When I spoke to him the other day he said fax! I asked if intake could be reached to find the rx. I was told 'I dont know how' Aetna Advocate was on phone and could not believe the lack of caring or customer service! Horrendous! A week trying to get 2 small things accomplished wasted. I do NOT recommend these people at all . Aetna is aware and will take actions. Thank you Aetna. read more

Hats off to Tammy who was able to resolve some Cpap issues with my resmed machine. I was having issues with dry mouth and she identified and rectified the issue on the phone. I am in need of a cpap machine and can't get through to anyone and I did I got hung up on. I was told they submitted a PA and my insurance said the dr who signed off wasn't a doctor. made nessasary called to find out nothing was submitted and that the doctor is in fact a sleep doctor. read more

Best company out there. At least for CPAP. I left lincare for the poor service they gave. Lincare wanted a script just to touch my machine that was broken, and they didn't want ti fix. I faxed a script to Apria and the next day I got a call from them informing me that it was approved with the insurance. I love this company so much One con I thought about though: helping your customers not run out of supplies by calling them reminding them to reorder supplies. read more

Apria Healthcare, 744 Ulster Ave. Kingston, NY has some of the most patient, understanding and helpful employees out there! I was prescribed a CPAP machine in January of this year to treat moderate sleep apnea, which was taking forever to obtain and ship to me due to the shortage of computer chips needed to build the machines. I was in a panic, as I have not been allowed to drive since being diagnosed in January of this year -- and my daily commute to work is a 70-mile round trip. The staff at Apria were very patient with me, kept me updated on the order status and never complained about how often I called them! My CPAP machine was finally delivered this past Sunday and I am so happy! Many thanks to the entire Apria team -- Jennifer, Emily, Linda and Tammy -- for all your help and kind assistance. My doctor sent in a request for portable 02 . They delivered 2 machines and i was told the por table ones were on back order & were given 4 tanks & told to call & have them refilled and they took the machines back .I called today and was told without the machines i could not have the tanks nor have them refilled !! I told the lady but i have the tanks and dont have the Machines .She then became rude so i told them to come get them .She also added they have not had portable ones for over a year so why was that not passed onto my DOCTOR when i need O2 ? read more

My CPAP machine started making weird noises so I called and was told to bring it in for an exchange. Sandy Lee ​ explained it was a common problem and cared for the exchange quickly. My experience with Apria could not have been better!!! My husband needed oxygen and it was my first time dealing with this type of care. EVERYONE I dealt with at Apria (Kingston) was pleasant, helpful, and willing to take the time to meet my needs - regardless of whether it was explaining their services, making suggestions about what would best meet our needs, or demonstrating how to use the portable tanks. The service was efficient - I was in and out in a matter of minutes. It was a 45 minute drive to their location - grateful I didn't have to dread dealing with rude, impatient staff. This place has the worst customer service ever. I call to reorder a CPAP mask and they had lost the Rx from my doctor. I call the doctor and have it sent to them again. I had placed the order with them specifying model and size. I call 3 weeks later after a holIday trip to find out they never bothered to order it and it would still take 10 days to get here. In addition to this I know the owner drives a Maserati !! I'm done with them. The worst !!! read more

I'm unsure why this particular office has bad reviews as they have been absolutely AMAZING! I think that people may be confusing the overall Apria customer service with this local office. The people in the Kingston office are by far the best. I am so happy we looked past the bad reviews and used this office for my mothers oxygen & trach supplies. We spent 2 months in the hospital and after getting out with all sorts of new equipment right before the holidays this past year they have been our lifesavers in navigating the new equipment and helping us with any and all questions we could think of. We unexpectedly ran out of a certain supply and they were able to find it in the office for me to pick up. I cannot say enough good things about this office and the people who work there. read more
