Apria is a horrible company to deal with, Shady business. I'm wondering why they're still in business, when so many filed complaints, lawsuits. My Dr. ordered the machine, called our local Apria, told them before they send the machine, I would like an itemized with details charges before sending the machine, as a buyer I would like to know how much the total amount of the machine/ supply. Co pay , insurance coverage. None responded. A week later I received the machine without any paperwork indicating detailed charges. I Called their customer service, I was told it was not a rental unit, I only had to pay a one time payment of $106.00 the machine will be mine. CIGNA will cover the rest. A week later I received an e mail from CIGNa indicating that I have a balance of $799.00. Apria customer service lied. Called CIGNa again for the itemized detailed charges. Apria charged Cigna $3900.00 for the unit/ supply. Retail price for this unit is only $1000.00-1500.00 I would have been better off not using my insurance to get the c pap. Both businesses Apria and Cigna are in cohort to fraud. Big time! Costumers paying high premiums for health insurance but can't even use it for medical equipments. Bluestone Physician Services completely failed to deliver on the core promises they sold to our family. We chose this provider because they marketed themselves as an on-site medical care service that performs routine health checks to keep vulnerable residents safe. Unfortunately, their actual care fell dangerously short.Critical Failures:Frequent Hospitalizations: Due to a severe lack of consistent health observation, our family member had to be hospitalized two times in just four months. These medical emergencies likely could have been prevented with proper monitoring.Ignored Requests for Care: When we noticed symptoms and explicitly asked a nurse to check our resident's vitals because we feared they were getting sick, the request was not completed by staff on site. Dangerous Record-Keeping: Medical charts for both medications and immunizations were routinely left outdated, creating an unsafe situation for managing a senior's health.Bluestone sold us peace of mind but delivered neglectful oversight. If you expect proactive, hands-on medical care for your loved one, don't get your PCP through Bluesyone. Better to have real PCP for monthly visits and illness. read more

My rating: Terrible. They do not deserve even one star. I give zero stars. My husband (call him "Jeb") finished his Medicare sleep study last week. The sleep study place gave Jeb a sheet of paper giving five companies they needed him to choose that would be the supplier of any CPAP machines and accessories he chooses to purchase. He chose Apria-Monona-Wisconsin; they said this branch would call him this week. Four weekdays later, they haven't called. Ding. My radar goes up. Jeb called them today. He was put on permanent HOLD. After a few minutes, I interjected and said that it is obvious that Apria-Monona does not want our business. He hung up. Apria-Monona cannot bother themselves to increase staff to handle new customers. We are SLASHING them off the list of possibilities. Gong. Now Jeb is getting the list of the other four companies, maybe one of which will be hungry enough to value him as a new customer. I hereby leave feedback. ¡ APRIA-MONONA SUCKS ! I have nothing good to say about them. The branch is mismanaged because they can't put forth effort into lifting the phone receiver off the hook to make a call or receive a call. If this is the way they are PRE-SALES, this is what they will be POST-SALES. It doesn't get better. Jeb should *NOT* get into a relationship with a company that doesn't give a sh_t. Apria-Monona told Jeb "up yours," and we don't take kindly to that attitude. BEWARE: Apria is a dishonest and predatory company. They mishandled my billing from day one, failed to submit claims correctly to my insurance, and then tried to blame me for their own mistakes. While I was still trying to fix the billing errors with their customer service, they sent my account to collections -- completely blindsiding me and risking my credit score over charges I didn't even owe! Their billing practices are shady, aggressive, and completely unethical. Patients deserve better than this mess. Avoid Apria at all costs. read more

I have now reported to BBB and my insurance that this comapny is scamming me and my insurance. ***6/10/24 Darlene from billing lied to me when she told me that everything was corrected, and my insurance would be reimbursed, and my bill was correct as I returned all items sent to me. I received another bill. I tried to call again but could only get voicemail. Run this company is scam. **5/26/24 Update the person from the review site helped fix the issue. However, the manager never called me back. If I had not written the bad review I would still be struggling. First, they did not reach out prior to sending equipment and charged my insurance as well as sending me a bill. I tried to return it at the post office, but they said needed a new label, so I called the company and told them I needed a return label. They said they would pick up the item to put on the porch and I asked if they were going to refund the money to my insurance company. They said yes once the item was picked up. This was in February 2024. I have them on a ring camera picking up the item. Two months later they called, sent bills, and hung up on me multiple times while trying to call the company. Finally, on 5/21/24 a guy told me that they sent me two boxes I only returned one. I said I received one box I returned one box this is the first time I am being told about a second box. I asked to speak to a manager over 8 times on the call. He placed me on hold for 8min to get back and said no managers were available was that ok. NO, it's not that I want to talk with a manager as I am not paying a bill for something 1. I didn't order 2. Didn't receive 3. Returned item I did receive. read more

Apria will get you your supplies quickly. Then the problems will start. Their billing department is a nightmare. I was double billed for equipment, Apria didn't send the correct forms to my insurance, and customer service department is about as unhelpful as possible. I've spent hours on the phone with them and my insurance trying to solve Apria's mistakes. I honestly couldn't more strongly recommend that you got with a different durable equipment company - Apria isn't worth the headache. read more

My experience with Apria has not been the best. By comparison with a previous healthcare company they fall short in service and billing procedures. I have raised my concerns with my health care provider but it seems to fall on deaf ears. I regularly get billed by my provider for equipment but then receive checks in the mail from Apria that cover my expense stating that I was over-billed. My cost ends up at zero but what a ridiculous system. read more

The phone # listed for the Monona, Wi. branch is for the national headquarters.I just received my c-pap machine a couple weeks ago and am having issues. The customer service person who answered the phone was clueless and would not hook me up with the local branch who delivered my machine. In the meantime I get this service agreement in the mail where they are asking for my credit card info so they can bill it for whatever the insurance company doesn't pay. I went online to see if there are any complaints filed against this company, and there are plenty including very poor customer service and problems with billing credit cards for items not ordered, ect. I had to wait well over 2 months to even get the machine with the same excuse used more than once by someone who could barely speak English. I would give them o if I could. read more
