I'm so frustrated with this company. I was ordered smallet oxygen tanks on 10/14/25. I still don't have them. Last Friday and the Friday before I was told it's being escalated. I've talked to no less than 8 different people from this company. When they call every single one asks for my insurance information. I've emailed it to them and read it to all caller's. One lady that called I couldn't understand a single word she said. I can't leave my house without these tanks. I've not left my home since 10/14/25. I don't understand why this company doesn't communicate with each other let alone the customer. read more

Horrible billing and customer service! Just billed me for charges for 2024 and said my insurance had reversed their payments to Apria. Never heard anything like that from insurance. Going to tell them to come get everything. Portable machine has never worked. I could go on and on. Avoid them at all costs! read more

Their administrative service is poor. They have sent the wrong supplies, and even though I set up auto pay (which shows up on their site) I still get emails and calls saying I have a balance due. read more

I've been with getting my C-PAP supplies with Apria for over 10 years. Something has changed with their billing. When I used to call them, I always got a person who spoke clear English. Now when I call them, I get all Asian gals. I don't know if their billing has been sent offshore, but something is very screwed up. They have been billing me, saying that my insurance has rejected the claim, yet when I call my insurance Company, Regence Med Advantage, they say they never received a claim from Apria or show that any claim was denied. I have been calling the billing office for almost a year, and I keep getting different excuses. First, they say my doctor is not registered with PECOS, but my insurance says that they don't require that. Then they say they don't have my doctors name, so I gave them that AGAIN. I called to order supplies just to see who they have listed as my DR and they have it right, yet the billing department still says they don't have the right Dr listed. A representative from Regence has even called them twice and also, we have done a conference call with Apria. They're still saying the same thing about PECOS and the DR's name. They told me they were going to contact the Dr's office and request information. The Dr's office said they still haven't received anything from Apria requesting any records or information. That was 10 mo. ago. Now they're saying this to my insurance that they are going to contact the DR. Whoever is handling their order and billing does not know what they're doing. My insurance company still hasn't received any claim from Apria even though they have talked them through the process. They only have 12 months to get the claim in or else it won't get paid, and they can't bill me because they are under contract with Regence. I also paid my share of the Co-pay, which didn't make any difference. Apria needs to bring the billing back "on shore" or something, because they are losing money due to this incompetence. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. We are moving from CA to OR. The Riverside office of Apria put a "Patient Move" in the main system, making certain that all of my medically fragile son's equipment will be delivered to the new place the day before we arrive. I had all the confirmations until earlier this week when Adam (from Apria Springfield) said they don't have the necessary bed, but do have "a" mattress, currently no bed, and that they have a manual lift for him (instead of the doctor ordered electric lift). I have been trying consistently for a week to have Sherry Santana, the manager of Apria Salem, return my over 20 CALLS, to determine what is actually happening. I have been told for 5 solid days that she'll call me back. Her minion Adam (from Apria Springfield) stated over and over that Sherry specifically told him if i called that I needed to use a different company. Honestly, he should not be in customer contact at all as he refused to listen, answer questions, spoke over me, and has been generally a nightmare each of the 6 times I have spoken with him. My wife has been trying to get a replacement nose and she has been waiting months! Her current nose piece is worn out and it not getting proper airway. Her doctor is furious with the company! The company sent the WRONG size nose piece and it has taken weeks for them to send a return label and expecting her to pay for packing to send back the wrong nose pieces. Are you guys wanting a lawsuit? Your customer service SUCKS!!! Everyone reading my post if you can go with another company stay clear of this incompetent service!! Hard to get in contact with people for service. Ordering supplies is a difficult process

Horrible customer service. It began back in the fall with them telling me to call when I parked at their door (covid restriction), for my fitting and of course, no one would answer. Banged on the door. Nothing. Ten minutes after I was to be there, someone finally answered and said I was late. Say what? I was told if the mask gave me problems (it wasn't fitting right at the on go), I could order another. After several attempts of adjusting and air still leaking out, I ordered another and a couple extra supplies. They sent smaller size masks then what I trying to replace. Way too small. My heat hose I ordered was not in there but I was charged $80 for all of it. Trying to get someone to answer and speak with me from the Salem office is impossible. The one time I received a call back, I was talked over. Calling the 888 and 877 numbers? Good luck understanding with the static and hard to understand employees that can't understand the help I need either. I had been using the same (should have been changed out already), and my son gave me one of his to try. When I received the bill, I called billing and finally got someone to call me back (couldn't help me with any other questions/issues but assured me I could get a replacement of the missing - nope, never received calls back.) I told her to charge the card for the supplies on file and if I receive the correct items and hose, I won't have to worry about am amount owed. She read the information back and I figured all was OK. I'm still getting amount due statements. She also told me to go to the portal and register so I could have access to all my info. It wants a code. It's not on my paperwork so no portal. No calls back. Today, is the last straw. I went to my pulmonary doctor for knee surgery clearance. He was never sent permission to see my nightly transmissions. I had left messages about this before. Who is reading these and why did he not be sent the information during these months of use? Of course, I left another message that will probably not be answered. A good thing, he thinks with my weight loss, I can get rid of this machine. It hasn't helped me at all. I have a new sleep study coming up and hopefully can be done. I would right now but don't want my surgeon to cancel on me. I'm asking my insurance to assign someone else and get rid of them. I have a feeling I'll have to contact my bank to stop their auto payments even after it's returned and I ask them to stop. Horrible company. read more

This company is the worst. They keep billing me for supplies I didn't get. When I try and get it resolved I get into t an endless circle of departments that finally get me back to the original department. They overcharge. I can buy some supplies local cheaper that billing my insurance company. read more

I've been trying to get an appointment to get a better fitting cpap mask. I've made several phone calls with empty promises to get a call back. Still nothing. After 2 months I'm going to push my insurance company to go through a different company. This is beyond REDICULOUS! read more

I was referred to this company by Salem sleep medicine as my insurance company uses them for all CPAP needs. They overcharge and provide cheap equipment. For the price of a three-month rental you can buy a machine and own it. Customer service is abysmal at best. Please be your own Advocate when dealing with anything medical and heed my advice do not use this company. read more

I toally agree with Caleb! Plus they will bill different amounts to your insurance company, or not at all, and charge you more! Amazon is much cheaper on all the same supplies. read more

I have been with Apria for better than 3 years and they have never let me down when it counts. Deliveries are always on time and very friendly service. Their only weakness for me is no online service to order disposable goods, and calling them can be a pain. read more

February 24, 2017 I have been on the phone since 8AM PST trying to get information when I can expect the delivery of my portable battery operated nebulizer which calls include different APRIA phone numbers plus calling my health insurance 2 times because I can not get information from APRIA Rep. My second call to my health insurance my Rep called APRIA herself, got put on hold long enough that she said she'd call me back with the information or have APRIA call me back. After 30 minutes an APRIA Rep did call me to tell me that I had to make an exchange of the portable nebulizer for the standard house nebulizer because APRIA does not give 2 machines for one household. I had a fit because APRIA had already taken my co-pay cost out of my bank online since they only accept CC so he said that in order for me to get the portable too then APRIA has to open a new RX for it. 100% FAIL BY APRIA. My health insurance has sent a document to APRIA Headquarters of my complaint which I am supposed to get a complaint form from APRIA in 14 days for me to tell my failed service by them. read more
