From our initial meeting with them, we knew they were professional and easy to work with. Their portfolio of work assured us that they would capture our special day in the right light. They were easy to reach by email and replied quickly whenever we had questions. Our engagement photo session was held at Arnold Arboretum in the early fall. Emilie was easy going and made us feel comfortable. She captured the spring season beautifully and we were very satisfied with the outcome. He brought me to a park near Burlington and took pictures where he could meld the background greenery. First and foremost, Nate is extremely professional and punctual. From our initial contact, to receiving our final pictures, Nate was very candid and clear in his communication. This is something that I truly appreciate because photographers can get very busy in their line of work, but I did not once feel as if I was put on the back burner and always felt like a priority. Whenever I reached out to Nate, he was always very quick to respond. He was also quick in getting our pictures back to us! Nate is also really fun to be around. When taking engagement pictures, there are many location changes and outfit changes that require a lot of public bathrooms and Uber rides/drives! To be honest, I'm pretty disappointed in my wedding photos. They're artistic and there are a lot of candids of wedding guests (like we wanted) but there are pretty much no good pictures of my husband and I where you can actually see both of our faces clearly, with no heads cut off (she cut his head off in 90% of the photos and he's not abnormally tall or anything). We decided recently to maybe frame a few of our wedding photos since we spent all that $ and when we were looking for options, we realized we had none. If I looked great in one, his head was cut off. If he looked great in one, I was sort of blurred out and fuzzy (intentionally I guess). Like I said, they're creative. But there are basically NONE that captured us looking terrific on our wedding day. Terrific scenery, terrific flowers, pretty cupcakes, nice shots of my dress or me having makeup applied, cute flower girl shots, some distant full length shots of us, a nice picture of me dancing with my dad etc. But not one good , close-up picture of me and my husband together. it makes me sad.
