Although it does not have any competition in the area, they still makes their service, place and food great! We had their pulled pork on sandwich and taco as well as the maple ice cream pie and oh boy we were eclectic of it's taste! They also gave us free taste of their maple that made us buy for its distinct taste! See images and vid below for our wonderful experience. Open 10am-3pm. Limited seating. They accept credit/debit card, high chair available, ample of parking spaces.

Tucked into the woods of the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, right on Route 114 along the Canadian border near New Hampshire, April's Maple is a delightful stop. Greeted by a friendly staff and full of smiling customers this establishment boasts there own hefty supply of locally produced quality maple syrup from their 800 acres of maple trees. But its not just a stop for syrup. They offer some VT souvenirs, gifts, cheeses, maple candy, ice cream!, and there is a dine-in cafe that's open seasonally. You won't find many other places to stop on Rt 114, so April's Maple is a welcome surprise and a worthy stop. I stopped in this past weekend for some local maple syrup and was surprised by the variety of grades they offered. I picked up the dark robust syrup and enjoyed the rich taste on my store-bought waffles this week.

There's also heat and serve entrees available too. The place is order at the counter and there is table seating and armchair seating in cafe. They also have grab & go hot sandwiches in the heated case and cold sandwiches in the cooler or they can make any sandwich to order. For takeout, I got a plastic wrapped ready made Italian Sub ($10.95 plus tax) and a made to order Breakfast Sandwich ($5.99 plus tax) with egg, cheese, bacon on a toasted croissant. I already had hot coffee in the vehicle from a previous stop. The breakfast croissant sandwich was very tasty and just enough for a quick breakfast. The Italian Sub, which had black forest ham, salami, pepperoni, onions, black olives, peppers, pickles, cheese, oil & spices on a firm white sub roll. I ate the sub later before I headed up the slopes on a wet snowy day.
