Came here on a whim after driving by a bunch of times not really knowing what to expect and now I go here for coffee regularly, it's replaced Starbucks & Dunkin' as my go-to. The coffee here is really good and the level of customization you can do to make exactly what you want is fantastic. Customer service is incredible there's always a warm local feel to the place every time I go in and they are always super nice. The prices are also really great especially coming from regular Starbucks and the coffee is even better than the more expensive drinks at other places. I have been going to this coffee shop since it opened several years ago. Ian & Cari (the owners) make the best coffee drinks around & are always so pleasant & welcoming! My daughter loves their iced chocolate and I have many favorites, including Iced Irish cream latte, raspberry-vanilla iced mocha. Whenever I have my car worked on down the street, they never mind that my kids and I walk down and hang out there instead of waiting in the service waiting room at the auto shop. There is always good conversation to be had there, the best beverages & company. They even sell growlers of coffee which was AMAZING for me last week when I took one to Maine for vacation! I was never without good coffee...which makes for an even better vacation! ;) Also please note...whoever Linda W is that put up a crappy review on here of LoSoCo, she falsified her review and that's not cool! You will never find the owners arguing or ever making you uncomfortable there. Seems pretty funny that she wrote a review of another coffee shop like "she" goes there all the time and then for the one of LoSoCo she made it sound like she was a tourist. I'm not buying that!! So go see for yourself why this is the best coffee shop in town! You won't regret it!! read more

The place is true to its name. The owners are very friendly and work hard to give their customers a community. They have a really nice really friendly coffee shop (black) cat that melts our heart. Whenever my fiancé and I visit my parents in St. J we always make a point to stop by, and we are happy that they have made it through several years of this. The coffee is also probably the best in town. It rivals a shop like Starbucks. So we are very happy with it. read more

My whole family loves Locally Social. The Rasberry Mochas are to die for! My kids enjoy their flavored hot chocolates. My husband even drives 10 minutes out of his way on his way in to work to make sure he starts his day off with a Loco SoCo coffee. What's even better about this place is their customer service. The owners always greet us with big smiles and are always up for a good conversation. They go above and beyond for their customers. It's always a joy to stop in! If you haven't visited yet, do it! I had one of the best lattes I've ever had in Vermont in this place. They make excellent coffee. When I went there wasn't much to the inside for seating or ambience, etc. Also, they didn't have any pastries or other snacky snacks to go along with the coffee, but the coffee was really, really good. read more

The best coffee shop locally! I drive about a half hour on a regular bases to get amazing cold brew iced coffees and lattes from LocSoc. I always appreciate the kind, warm welcome from Ian and Cari. The new seating area is super comfortable for when I have time to sit there and relax but I can always count on them get me a quality beverage for me and getting out the door. LOVE this place. Was driving through town on our way up to vacation and stopped here. Don't be shied away by the fact that it's attached to a tanning salon, this place has quality coffee. Came in for some coffee and decided to try a smoothie as well. Not only are the smoothies organic, natural, and have no additives, but they are amazingly good. The large coffee my boyfriend got was strong and good as well, but my espresso was below average. Would like to see them have a richer and bolder ground and not so watered down. Really good coffee. This is my go-to place now. Warm welcome and lots of choices. I decided to go with the cold-brewed iced coffee and it was delicious. I also got a great gingerbread whoopie pie that was also delicious. Reports of them arguing behind the bar are a Flat. Out. Lie. These two are pro-active, support other local businesses, support local non profits, and are positively on the list of businesses to watch. They know their customers by name, will deliver to your place of business, and all the while - spread the love. Their hot red eye coffee will get you thru a tough afternoon or kick you into gear first thing in the morning. The owner is super friendly and hand crafts each cup of regular or speciality coffees.
