They do a good job shortening jeans and sleeves and I can trust them with sleeves with complicated buttons and the like. I do find that for simple jobs such as shortening something that has very easy fabric to work with, they are a bit overpriced, but if you have something a bit more difficult, they are the place to go. They are also not particularly quick, but if you have a week, they can do the job.

I would continue to use Hidalgo Brothers for my alteration needs; high recommended. As I live in Cardiff and was unable to pick the jacket up after dropping it off - they actually posted my first jacket once it got altered. I received the jacket two weeks later and it was carefully packed in plastic wraps. The work done was perfect - sleeves were perfectly shorted from the shoulders. The second jacket again had sleeves shortened and fabrics removed from the waist. The third jacket had the sleeves lengthened. All were perfectly done and I am very happy.

They did a good job of it, although one pair of trousers had to be done twice (first time they didn't narrow it enough). They are competent and professional, but if not guided tend to err on the side of wide fit (a common thing among English tailors).
