I have read some of the others reviews. My experience was entirely different. Purchased was made in April 2020. I did wait around for a specific person that I had talked to on the phone. I was offered assistance a few times while I was waiting. I purchased a GardenSpa hot tub. It was delivered, expertly unloaded & moved into place, he started the tub. Couldn't have gone smoother. Price was significantly better than the same tub elsewhere. My only concern was it was my first tub running on 110 vs 220. I does take longer to heat up but it has performed well so far & we have been using it all winter long. It keeps the heat at 104 -105 no problem. Definitely a 5 star experience. Once again visited Aqua Bay Belleville looking to spend around $3500 to $4000 on pool equipment We stood waiting - looking aimlessly about trying to attract the eye of a member of staff Over the next 10 minutes at least 6 members of staff walked past us Eventually one said "you ok?" (A little odd we thought) - "good afternoon" I said and went on to explain what we were looking for without going into whether I was"OK" or not. They broke my pool during last years closing, then tried ripping me off with a bogus sonar test for $300! Scammers, do not trust! They ask for your credit card at beginning of pool season and make extra charges without asking. Avoid this business, they will try to gouge you for every penny you have. I gave them over $600 and my pool is a disaster, they caused damage and wont take responsibility unless I bring them to court. read more

It's quite obvious and distressing that they aren't taking the virus seriously. I went to buy water jugs. Aside from really not being the friendliest, they didn't wipe down the cart or the pin pad and more than one staff person walked right up to me. Since I was buying water youd think they would take precautions. I only hope they have a change if heart and take steps to protect customers and themselves. read more

This place is a total joke. Bought a solar cover for our pool last June, used it last summer and put back on this june. The beginning of July it started falling apart and the bubbles were breaking down. When it was bought we were told it was pro rated for 4 years and if we had any issues to just bring it in. Took it in and were told that they did not say that and asked if we left it on the pool during the day.....yes its a SOLAR blanket, they then said it is to be taken off each day and put on at night......and that we would have to contact the company that made it. We were given an email address for the company and sent it that afternoon only to get one back that it was not their product so they were not sure why we sent it to them long story short staff is rude, not helpful at all, do not honor their policies, have no idea what they are talking about, basically just a joke. Ordered a pool and paid for it. Got wrong parts with it so I called Wendy. After getting screamed at and hung up on twice I went in to speak with them and her and her son James basically laughed at me and said they don't let customers walk all over them. James is a joke. Wendy is a joke. Aqua bay is a joke. If your saving money it's comes at a cost of terrible service. Hope you don't have problems because they won't help you. So I just when into Aqua Bay to purchase chlorine with a friend of mine and they charged $.75 a litre and said that there's was stronger however when calling St Lawrence pools they were $.45 a litre for the exact same stuff. Their quality is exactly the same, distributed by the same people so we went back into Aqua Bay talk to the owner Mike, who wouldn't listen to us at all and said that he can mark up whatever he likes because he doesn't care about the 1% because everything else he carries is cheaper. Then he told me to get the fuck out you stupid bitch and yelled at me and I said I didn't appreciate that and that he didn't need to yell at me and he said I wasn't listening so I reiterated everything he said back to him and then he started screaming at me and swearing to getting out...then he proceeds to get out of his chair and where I had to leave the store I thought there's this store owner was going to come at me. In the meantime his employee B was there the entire time. There was other customers and employees in the store, and the look of shock on everyone face was disgust. read more

We recently moved to Belleville, ON and intended to use this company to service our pool and spa, as the previous owners had used them for years. We have purchased a BBQ as well as sporting equipment from them, and proceeded to have them service our spa for us. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the tech had to come one afternoon for 30 minutes and the next morning for under two hours. He advised me that it would only be one service call; we were charged for two. Upon Addressing the issue directly with the owner of the company, she was rude and told me that her service person did not tell me that I would only be charged for one service call. She was disrespectful to my face and had no regard for me as a customer of the shop. They ultimately refunded me a small portion of my invoice (the amount for travel to/from my home!) and did not offer any apologies for any part of the situation. We are loyal customers to any company who knows how to treat their clients. This company does not. read more
