The salon in the Blue Lion Suites, you can park in a *usually empty* parking garage and hop right on into the salon. Her suite is off a quiet hallway allowing for maximum relaxation. I appreciate the ambient lighting and the calm atmosphere. Lindsey is SO funny and really makes getting waxed a pain-free experience (yup, every *there*). She is extremely professional and the space is clean, and free of clutter. I've gotten a facial from here as well and it was heavenly. She explained each step of the process. I think the things I appreciate most about Triple Threat is that Lindsey DOES NOT UPSELL. She doesn't push and prod into expensive products, or more services. If I have questions or needs she is certainly standing at the ready with her immense knowledge of skin care, don't get me wrong, but I like that I don't feel "sold" when I leave.

I usually bring my own baby wipes just to wipe down before a wax but she has wipes in a warmer!! *its the little things* The waxing is virtually pain free!! I have been getting waxed for a few years now but seriously Lindsey magically makes it fast and painless! Plus her personality makes you feel like you've known her forever! That makes a huge difference in an already uncomfortable situation such as getting a Brazilian wax with a stranger. I personally have found my new esthetician!

The salon has TVs with Netflix subscriptions so I was entertained while she did my hair. Five hours later (yes, exactly five hours), I emerged with neatly twisted hair-- all for $157! They run special pricing for college students and a referral system where you get 10% off your next service for telling a friend about them. The owner Tafi is dedicated to growing her business; her interaction with customers and her employees proves it. Everyone in the salon was so friendly. You could tell that they have loyal customers, and they earned one more.

I have very short hair & wanted the relaxed ends trimmed off. I also received a wash & conditioner treatment to ensure the relaxed hair was gone. Took about 25 minutes. The only part that upset me was paying $45. I could not believe it was $45 for a trim and wash. I drove to Euless (30 min away) to support a Black owned business to be overcharged. The prices in the front where you pay stated that the owner charges by the hour, which is ridiculous. I will not go again. Next time I will make sure that a 5 minute trim does not equal $50 (I tipped Joy $5, to be kind). I'm still in shock. I almost wanted to walk out.

She was running behind due to some lovelies having updos done but took care of me. Toni & Guy and their ridiculous new rates and no scheduling app can delete my profile. I've found my new salon! She does what EVERYONE should do- keeps real track of what colors and cuts she did for a customer, communicates extremely well and does the right thing. Even the other customers there when I arrived said I was in great hands, and they were right! I've been in customer service for over 20 years, and I give her an A+ for doing the right things!! Online appt tools are better than the big guys too. Love it!
