They ruined my pool and they tried to take advantages on us telling us the heater was damaged and they we needed to buy a new one . Our heater was not even 6 years old . So we called a new pool service they said that someone cut off the gas to the heater and that we didn't have any problems with it. It is working properly and now the pool is in better condition . As we discontinued their services the pool is not green anymore and running perfectly. I would not recommend this pool service to anyone. read more

I first called him to deal with the black algae which became a problem when the prior pool service skimped out my cutting back on the necessary chemicals while also increasing prices. Needless to say the black algae was a process to get rid of and damaged the pool. Aqua Escapes came in to get rid of the black algae and immediately became the new pool service. It should not have taken so long to post about our experience with Aqua Escapes, but here is how it was for us. The first thing I'd suggest is looking at the photos attached. The pool is beautiful. The feeling of a resort in our backyard. We interviewed 4 different pool contractors and landed on Oscar Sr. No question why... His knowledge, experience, and jovial personality made it an easy decision. The bonus was working with Oscar Jr. who worked side by side with Oscar Sr. to help make our pool a reality. Our pool construction occurred during the pandemic, so we were working from home. This allowed us to interact with the crew daily and weigh in on every detail. The whole team was receptive and enthusiastic with our input, and it turns out, those details are some of our favorite aspects of the finished pool. The construction phase was a great experience, but it continues... We had a slight imperfection in the pavers surrounding the pool. With one text, we had the team back out within a week to fix the issue. Our concern was that once the pool was finished, service would drop off. Quite the opposite. We've come to see the Oscars as friends and their support of our pool is, yet another, positive. Weekly pool cleaning... Again, the level of service is beyond expectations. Our service occurs on Fridays, and we look forward to Aqua Escapes doing everything possible to keep our pool sparkling and clean for the weekend. The young man that performs the service is very professional, and knowledgeable and has answered the phone for a few operational questions with no complaint - again, a personal connection. We had a similar experience to the other reviewer who'd found that the technician had gone on to the property without permission. The owner, Oscar, had promised us that he would call us when the technician was going to arrive, to fix an item with our spa. We made clear to Oscar that we wanted to meet the technician, so that plan worked for us -- especially as we had no prior connection to this company, so we wanted to meet the person, and also supervise his work. Instead, we got a call from the owner AFTER the technician had been on our property, letting us know that the tech guy, a stranger to us, had already been in our backyard, had done the job, and had left. This came as quite the shock -- all the more so because our gate had been locked! Very bad sign that the technician decided to find a way to push past our locked gate -- very likely at Oscar's instruction -- with the aim of staying out of sight. Moreover, he damaged the locked gate by forcing it open. We had to hire a handyman to fix it. Red alert. P.S. We have now discovered that the technician damaged the other locked gate as well. He clearly tried to force his way through a different locked gate first, and when he couldn't, he went to a different locked gate and forced that one open. read more

Updated after I saw response. That is not a true story. The guy was walking on my property and did not have any pool equipment nor labeled car and drove onto my property. I panicked because there were alarms going off. Alarms that only go off when someone goes on my property and wanders around. Your guy did not ring the doorbell, wandered around my property illegally, went through my stuff and did not have any equipment in his hand. I grabbed the first thing I saw to protect myself, so you bet your ass. I grabbed anything that looked like a knife for a gun because I was terrified. Your guy had the audacity to call the police when he broke into my home and I could've had him arrested and I'm still considering pressing charges . The gate triggered closed by accident and was going to run it over- You own the company and I own my home . I am protecting my own, and I would do the same. By the way, the police left laughing . They knew exactly why I had to do it I had to do. Get your story straight before you respond. YOU were in the wrong and I will protect my Home and loved ones at ALL COSTS WHEN THREATENED. In 2018, our then regular pool service company pushed for the need to replaster the pool. Unconvinced, we declined. Currently, we are experiencing an algae bloom. We thought of getting the pool drained and wanted a professional evaluation if this might also be the time to replaster. Aqua Escapes was referred to us by a reputable pool supply company. Within 3 hrs of the initial call, Oscar Jr came. After checking, he confirmed that the pool does not have any flaking and that with proper chemical treatment, the algae problem can be resolved without the need to drain/refill the pool. We had a leak in our skimmer and for years bypassed it "temporarily". I was referred to Oscar's company for pool maintenance so we discussed making the repair. In order to repair the skimmer, they had to drain water so I took advantage of the opportunity to drain the rest of the pool and hired his company to replaster. They did a beautiful job, scrubbing the glass decorative tile and they chipped out my old plaster in one day. The replaster took one additional day and it looks beautiful! Hire these guys! read more
