The team mishandled…read moremany of our belongings, and as a result our 85 inch television, and freezer were damaged beyond repair. In addition, a new television stand that was just delivered to the condo, along with the wall and ceiling were damaged when they attempted to place it in the desired location. The items were all damaged after unloading them from the truck at the new location, and each instance was specifically due to negligence. The team members removed all padding from the items prior to removing them from the truck. In the case of the television, they lifted it with their hands against the screen. This caused internal damage. The screen was severely smudged on one side but not cracked. When I saw them carrying it in this manner I remarked on it to my husband and asked him to plug in the set and check it before they left. You can see from the photos the damage that was caused. Each item was purchased in February of this year except the television stand, which was freshly delivered the same day. When I reported the damage to the owner, I was accused of making a fraudulent claim to extort new merchandise from Diesel Pro Movers. They refused to credit us any amount other than 59 cents per pound for the television, which amounted to less than $60 for a $2399 set. The entire event was unbelievable. We had hundreds of dollars of meat stored in the freezer, and each product was new...only three months old. I had no incentive for replacing any of the items. The team grew belligerent. The lead member Geoffrey, and one of his associates shouted obscenities and was hostile towards my husband. Our fifteen year old daughter was in the house, as was a representative from Spectrum. They had to leave to avoid further escalating the situation since the team refused to leave our premises. He called the police and all three were removed from the house. Please do yourself a favor and hire professional movers to assist you and not this company. The amount of money you think you are saving is not worth losing these types of items or those which might be of sentimental value to you.

After watching them drop my dryer down a flight of stairs as the one dude tries to dolly it with the two kids just watching, slack-jawed, I suggested maybe put a moving blanket down first (to try and not scratch the side that's touching metal?) and I sh*t you not, the one kid puts the blanket over the top of it. Like dude, it's not cold! Ended up w/ scratched and dented walls from furniture strikes, my dryer is all scratched and dented and overall ended up having to help the one dude move half of the heavy items since the kids he had w/ him weren't any help. Also, fairly sure these kids couldnt' read. Had boxes marked "basement" upstairs, boxes marked "master bedroom" in the garden shed. After they left my wife and I spend hours re-moving boxes to where they were supposed to go. Should have caught it at the time but was pretty sleep deprived after driving for four days. Reported this to the owner (I think? Some dude named Sultan) and got a whole "oh really? Well I'll call the guy" and nothing comes of it. Ha, this was funny though. Paid 'em, then like an hour later he calls me wanting to know where his money was and why I haven't paid. Explain that it's showing as paid and received on my end (through zelle) and he just goes "oh" and hangs up on me. Nothing more, no "sorry", just...A+ service from beginning to end. Way to keep it classy guys. Wouldn't have booked w/ em if I wasn't cancelled on by my first choice movers, but honestly I would have been better off w/o 'em. Over the phone they provided the size of the trailer which was 14' long x 8'wide x 4' high plus payment methods. Volume Scale Pricing is based on trailer space used. 1/4 of trailer is $199, 1/2 is $299 and full trailer is $499. When they arrive they review what you have and provide the cost before they begin work. If price is unacceptable your under no obligation. They just leave. Upfront pricing with no hidden cost. You can also text a picture of an item to get a fast estimate (separate number) plus you can book online. They haul all types of junk and debris and say no job is to big or small. Get rid of construction materials, furniture, hot tubs, office furniture, televisions, applicances or schedule residential and garage clean outs and shed demolition. Extremely heavy items uses Bed Load Pricing. Items like gravel, concrete, bricks, shingles and tree roots are considered heavy items. One Stop uses bed load pricing and trucks can only be loaded to a depth of 1 ft. Tires are subject to additional fees. The One Stop team called as promised 30 minutes to 1 hour ahead of arrival. They arrived on time and began evaluating the items I wanted removed. I had lumber, drywall, lawn mower, weed eater, television, a full shed with so many old odds and ends, a small inflatable pool plus miscellaneous items from the house. All broken and I could not donate. My load was going to be 1/2 the trailer. He discussed payments accepted (4% service fee for cards) and once I agreed to the price they began work. They worked quickly, carefully and before I knew it they were done. In around an hour everything was loaded with no lingering trash in the yard. All was tidy. FYI, tips are accepted on the card payment. I was very happy with the job and all I need to do now is sweep out the shed. I am absolutely ecstatic to have this task completed without issue. It was done quickly, safely and by two respectful men who took pride in their work. Thank you One Stop! The website states "We load the truck and haul away "ANYTHING" and just about "EVERYTHING".
