This store has been my go-to for many years. The owners and very kind and extremely knowledgeable. I have bought three tanks from them and all of my equipment, and I have never had any issues with any of the products. The fish selection is best in the area by far, and all the fish I have bought from them have done very well. They have a lot of unique species that I have not found anywhere else, and they have a large selection of brands and equipment including Fluval products. I absolutely love this place. One review stated that there was a tank of mice and a tank of goldfish. Those are all feeders. There are now only 2 rats in a tank. The woman there is very kind and helped me pick out three, beautiful kind mice. I always come there now. The staff are very intelligent and know what they're doing. there are many different kinds of animals to choose from as well. I definitely would recommend this place if you are a beginner or someone who has a lot of experience. They make sure you have everything you need before sending their animals off. They also have a lot of second hand things which is good if you are on a budget. 10/10 read more

When I was looking for various critters, they gave me answers before I knew what questions to ask. Jim, Jane, and the rest have always been very helpful and knowledgeable. What they don't have on hand, they will get if you need it. I've been there several dozen times. Aside from an occasional fish (among hundreds or thousands), I've never seen a dead animal there. So I don't know where the other person's complaint came from. read more

We have been fish people for as long as I can remember, and this place is definitely worth coming to see. Soooooo many varieties living in extremely well kept tanks. Contrary to another Yelper, the fish and rodents are NOT crowded at all. Rodent cages are so clean that you don't even smell the normal "pet store" smell. One step into this place and it's obvious the owner LOVES his animals and fish and gives them the care they deserve. This place is great for your aquarium & all your fishs' needs! The selection here is great from serpae tetras to kuhli loaches to freshwater eels! They also have a huge variety of plants to spice up your aquarium(s.) Their fish all looks happy & healthy, I don't think I've seen a almost dead or dead fish there. The brother & sister who run the place are awesome! They offer extremely helpful advice that you can't find online and really show they care about your fish. By far the best LFS ever! read more

I am very conflicted about this store. I love local businesses and I want to keep them running and successful. However I have a huge problem with this store and how it keeps it's animals! While I was there for a short time I saw two fish tanks FILLED with goldfish, there were so many in each tank that they barely had any room to swim. And the rodents have it so much worse! I saw a tank filled with mice who were constantly trampling over each other because there wasn't enough room for them. And they have several tanks full of rats that are WAY too small. They have 5-6 ADULT RATS in one TINY AQUARIUM. Not only do you need way more space for adult rats than that, but you also SHOULD to complain about this. I want to rescue all of those poor rats and fishies!! read more
