We bought this home in 1992. Dave was highly recommend by my Husband's business partner. He has always arrived immediately. The countless jobs Dave has completed would impress anyone! He always let me watch & taught me exactly what he was accomplishing ! First emergency job was a washer & dryer removal & relocated to the garage for cement flooring. All by himself. This particular job involved steps & narrow doorways. No problem for Our Dave. Then we were lucky enough to totally renovate this home in 2004, Dave was right by our side. Like a favorite Brother. He always takes such pride in his fantastic projects. Many jobs for years. Now to fast forward to just a short time ago. One Saturday morning, no hot water. Dave called us right back. He.always has his personal/business phone turned on. By Saturday mid afternoon, Dave had pre-purchased a new water heater & every thing to complete this task of mercy, was already in his work vehicle. Very organized! It was a weekend PLUS HIS total price was less than half of a comparison I studied of another highly advertised plumbing repair company. I do not practice, in my reviews I do for Google, to place the names of competitors out of respect. Months later, oh no hot water. Dave knew exactly what needed to be done &.he taught me over the phone exactly how to replace 1 fuse. This gets tricky to know exactly which fuse I would need to purchase at my local ACE hardware. Northfield, N.J. Then with Dave back on the phone, the whole time, he walked a very intimidated gal. Took me only 2 tries. But with lots of scary questions, from me in between. I had never worked with water AND electricity together out of fear. When I had all of my measures lined up . There arose such a large hoot. Including Dave as the loudest. He was very proud of my work. Whenever a question arises, I call Dave. Immediate response yet again. Dave always says to my Husband " you don't need me, you have Mary Ann, she has learned well". Terrific compliment from a totally Honest Hard Working Man. I always recommend Dave, for my coworkers in a very large corporation. AND I always shall do so Everyone works hard for the money just to live now a days. A more generous Man I have ever met. Excluding my Husband, or course . Sincerly ~ Mary Ann & Gordon Kane. Even though he had a full schedule, he offered to come by after 5:00 PM and asked me to send photos of the issue. Shortly after, he called back and said he was nearby and wanted to stop by to assess the problem in person before his next job. He quickly evaluated the situation, sent a quote shortly after, and returned exactly at 5:00 PM as promised. Manny and his partner were professional, efficient, and very respectful of my home. The installation was clean, organized, and done with great attention to detail. What really stood out was that Manny followed up the next day to make sure everything was working properly. Not only that, but he offered a fix to my bathroom faucet which was dripping & offered me a deal. Folks - do NOT look elsewhere. You will have a dedicated human that happens to be really good @ his craft. AND, he came to my aid when he was celebrating his wife's birthday. I saw balloons in his van & he humbly diverted the conversation - dedicated customer service, veteran, amazing business owner, & KIND!!!

    Yes, this is a long review, but for good reason. Please take the time to read it, if you are…read morelooking for an excellent HVAC company. Before I start, please know it's rare for me to write a review for a company, but every once in a great while, I come across a company who truly deserves a positive review. Jonathan's Heating & Air Conditioning Company is one of those rare companies that truly deserves a great review. On May 1, 2024, I had a company (not Jonathan's, as I hadn't heard of them yet), install a brand new HVAC unit in my home. In mid-June of this year, 2025, my just over 1 year old HVAC unit was only putting out "fan air", not "air conditioned" air. (Of course, the warranty expired exactly 1 year after installation). I put in a claim with my home warranty company. After several days of them not being able to find a company to come to my home to repair the unit, they finally gave me the option to find my own licensed technician to come out and diagnose the problem. I called the original installer, figuring he could easily diagnose and repair the problem, but he said he was booked out for the next 5 weeks!! So, I called many large and small companies that advertised that they can install and/or repair HVAC units. The earliest any of them could come out was about 10 days. Not only that, but most of them said they would not help me answer the questions required by the home warranty company about the HVAC unit's issues, so that I could (hopefully) be approved for the repairs & get reimbursed later. After many, many calls, I came across Jonathan's Heating & Air Conditioning Company. Not only were they the least expensive price I was quoted by any of the other companies I called, to come out & diagnose the problem, but they were willing to help me submit the needed answers to the questions required by my home warranty company, so we could proceed with the repairs once the problem was identified. When I spoke with Alix, in the office, she heard the desperation in my voice. She said they would send out one of their techs the very same day!! Their tech, Joe, did indeed come to my home that same day as promised. He diagnosed the problem. He took pictures and a video & he sat with me while I answered all of the home warranty company's questions and submitted the pictures, (they do not accept videos), on their portal. The home warranty company called Joe, while he was still at my house & said they wanted more pictures. Joe took more pictures and I submitted them. His patience level was nothing short of exceptional while we waited for the warranty company's decision. They did not make a decision that day. In fact, the home warranty company took days to make a decision. Alix, in the office, was kind and compassionate. She knew my cat & I were suffering on the 100 degree days we were having in NJ. Joe, their technician, was just as kind and compassionate as Alix. During the waiting period (because of the home warranty company's delay in reaching a decision), Alix and Joe continued to have good communication with me to see if there was anything else needed by the warranty company. On two occasions, I spoke to the owner, Jonathan. He explained in more detail, but in layman's terms that I could understand, exactly what the problem was for my own knowledge and in case the warranty company asked me any additional questions. The whole experience with Jonathan's Heating & Air Conditioning was exceptional. The pricing, the quality of workmanship, the communication, the willingness to answer questions I had & the willingness to help me answer the home warranty's questions, etc., by far exceeded my expectations. I would, without reservation, recommend them to my family and friends (and anyone else reading this review), should any of you have any HVAC issues.
