I was dismayed to find Grenier the Canadian brand I was wearing is no longer in business. I had several failed fitting attempts at other places. No one's fault. I was giving up hope. Yesterday at Brachic (November 2019) they found me TWO different types that are terrific. Sales staff could not have been more encouraging and considerate.

I went on YouTube to see how to properly size myself but realized from reading info online that I might be better off visiting a specialty bra boutique for fitting and consult since it seems size varies by manufacturer. I found out about Brachic via Google search but then a friend of mine also mentioned them so we decided to go together for a visit. We were cheerfully greeted by the staff and asked if it was our first time to the shop. Then we were asked what we were looking for. I was introduced to my fitter Maryanne who was just lovely. She took me to a private room where my concerns and taste in bras was discussed and then she brought a selection of bras. I tried several on to narrow choice of style and support level and I ended up choosing 2 bras. The price point is on the high end but this is a garment you wear daily and after this fitting I honestly can say that the foundation you wear makes all the difference not only to how your clothes fit but to how you physically feel better with a proper fitting, supportive bra! It is so worth every penny! It boosted my confidence to see how nicely my shirts fit with the right bra and to be able to wear a tank top again feels amazing. The ladies told me how to properly care for the bra so it lasts a long time and gave such helpful tips. This is a fantastic shop and I will be back to get more bras. It also feels great to support a local Ottawa business!

I have now been in the mall for a few years I know this for a fact but I still love this store very much. They offer Birkenstock sandals Not many places carry them around. They Also have a great selection of doc martens... yes I love shoes! They do offer a lot more than shoes. They have everything from swimwear to professional business wear. I don't even know if professional business where is actually a thing but you know clothing for a businessman and businesswoman. They carry their own brand that is name Twik, I really like it. They carry clothing for almost every style. I consider myself to be either very bohemian or very sporty. Two very different style but the offer both of those. Clothing can be pricey but they always have a discount rack in every section.

It was uber cold so I picked up a pair of mackage gloves where I can text and use my phone. So helpful! Great staff, and the mirror and dressing room reminds me of a tailor or a seamtress's with the multi dimensional mirrors. Feels cozy and friendly.
