He has every excuse under the sun and takes no responsibility for the problem. He didn't follow the engineer plans, nor compact the dirt behind the wall, or provide adequate drainage. The project was to take 3 weeks, it took 3 months. He spent our down payment before he even started the project. His communication skills are VERY poor. His insurance (if he has it) does not cover poor workmanship only liability. Which means someone has to get hurt to be covered. I highly recommend you not hire him! Run the other way! I had to hire someone else to fix his mistakes and make sure we had a safe wall built for us. I had several contactors come and many did not want to even touch it because of the problems they could see, let along the ones they couldn't. So his value is in the hole and it cost us double to have it redone. I asked him to reimburse us for our losses, but he takes no responsibility for the wall sinking or his poor workmanship. He has poor equipment that does not work all the time. He talks a good talk, but does not walk the walk. Bad news, stay way!

They came out and within a few hours all of our annoying blackberry bushes were gone. Like gone gone. I was so shocked when I saw it that I can't not just go out and stare at it. I know those bushes were pushing on the neighbors fence and it was stressing me out. The price was so spot on and perfect for what they did. Oh by the way if they say you need 20 plants or 16 pavers and they only use 5 of each, they keep the rest. It's in the contract! Oh did I mention that if they stated you need 15 plants and you need 20 they will sell you the other 5 from inventory left over from other jobs! Yes, paid twice for the same plant! By the way, the plants they bring only have a warranty if you buy their installed sprinkler system for an additional cost. On and on and on it went! So I decided to use Mint again for landscaping work where I had to install brick and shrubs on my…read morefront porch. When they started the project the day of Halloween, the landscapers showed up very early. It only took a few minutes for them to remove the dead shrubs. At first the front porch looked pretty bad because of the bare porch. The next day, landscapers returned to apply more sod and start the brick work. When they laid the brick, my porch started to look more even. The shrubs like blue fescue, lavender, fountain grass and azalea were installed. Once that was done, mulch was applied to the porch and side yard. Everything was basically complete except for a couple boulders to be installed. Unfortunately it did take a couple weeks for it to arrive. I emailed Josh(owner of Mint Landscapes) checking on the status, and the boulder was installed the very next day. Now my front porch looks AMAZING!! My neighbors always compliment me about my porch. I'm extremely happy about the work they did. Although Mint is not the cheapest in the area, they do provide excellent work and are very courteous. I'd highly recommend them.
