What an amazing transformation hiring Alvin landscaping with Tony and his team. My wife and I were in search for a great landscaping company that could provide excellent services. I have probably called 4 different companies to come do an estimate on our front and back yard. Alvin's landscaping was our 2nd from the 4 that came to our home, right then and there I immediately had great vibes from Tony. He was professional and friendly not to mention he wasn't trying to sell me anything that I couldn't get somewhere for portion of the cost, he was truthful. We had this chemistry in an instant. The county sent us a letter advising the fence at our rental home was built on the public right of way (by prior owners) and ordered us to move it in. We decided to go ahead and replace it and HOA approved repair by September 15. Tony promised it would be done by then and on September 4, day after Labor Day, he appeared at 7am. By 9am, he had already torn down the old fence and started the new one. Neighbors flocked over admiring his work and now we have the best fence on the block. Alvin's Landscaping was quick to respond and did a fantastic job to cleanup old debris in my backyard. I used Yelp to submit my request for service, and they had a supervisor at my house the next day for an estimate. The job included tree & hedge trimming, clearing of underbrush and old vines, removing a small tree, and removing a pile of construction debris and railroad ties. They sent enough people to get the job done in a day, and they never stopped until it was done. I had researched a couple of other companies before finding this one, and left those conversations feeling condescended to and defeated about the prospect of getting my needs met in a timely and affordable way. Our yard had gotten a little out of control and required multiple tasks to be completed to restore it and prep for fall/winter. We hired Tony and team to beauty bark all beds, remove a quite a few weeds, edging, mowing, limb up a tree, and mimosa debris/patio cleanup. Alvin responded almost immediately to a request for a bid on my retaining wall replacement, and offered a very reasonable price. He and his crew worked extremely hard for three days in a very narrow space to replace a long railroad tie wall between my fence and hedge. He even re-designed the retaining wall to protect the roots of the hedge. In the front yard, they took care to protect tulips and other plants while raising the soil level in my garden.
