Her English is limited, but good, and she tries very hard to understand and communicate. She accommodates any special needs if she is able. Wifi is good. There are three separate guest rooms, each with its own bathroom. Each has an individual air conditioner. There is a small kitchen for coffee/tea, and there is a small refrigerator in each room, which is convenient. The rooms are very quiet and you do not hear street noise if windows are closed (double pane). The breakfast is received at a nice little cafe/bar down the street. You get a choice of a nice croissant and coffee, espresso, cappuccino, or juice, and as it is open 24 hours, you can go when convenient. Very simple. Cons: Only one that comes to mind: It is located up 2-1/2 flights of steps, and although there is an elevator/lift, it is accessible from one flight up. A little tough when you are carrying a large bag. In short: I suggest you consider this place. Very reasonably priced, very well-located, clean and comfortable.

I hope the following is taken as constructive....areas the hotel can make improvements. First, they are very stingy with the in room coffee pods. We stayed 3 nights and were not granted refreshes on the pods, even after asking. Our TV channels did not work, the room was hot and would not cool (tried to open windows to cool the room but was too noisy to sleep that way), and the power shuts off when you leave...room service will pull your key out so anything you hope to charge while you are away will not have power. Also, and as I mentioned earlier, they rate as a 5 star hotel but not open for dinner on Mondays, do not have a fitness center or a spa. Not a big deal but nice to know if you are looking for these amenities. Overall was a good visit, so give it a try if you have patience for the things mentioned above.

Just note if you want a late check-in you need to arrange it with the hotel. The location is phenomenal we walked almost everywhere except for the Colosseum. Being able to walk to so many places was such a treat. The neighborhood is adorable not very busy but you still you had tons of restaurants. My favorite place to go was the Spanish steps we would walk there nightly to get gelato or tiramisu. Don't miss an amazing cappuccino at breakfast. I will say breakfast is later than what we were expecting as it didn't start till 8 AM so there were several days that we had to miss it as we had tours booked early in the morning. The shower in my room was also in a very deep tub that made it a little challenging for a short person...but the room next door where other family members were staying had a walk in shower, so it might be worth requesting this if you have mobility challenges or just short people problems. Front desk staff were great and had good restaurant recommendations. Anyway, not a bad affordable option for one night!
