I stayed here for a weekend trip to Rome, and I really enjoyed it. I arrived here at 9am on a Saturday morning after my flight got in, and of course no rooms were available yet after a full night's booking. The manager let us eat breakfast for free that day while waiting for the room to be made up. The breakfast was a full spread that included tap coffees, hot chocolate, pineapple juice, orange juice, milks, etc. Teas were also available. Then the buffet also included eggs, sausages, pasteries, cereals, fruit, toast, and bacon. We also crashed in the lobby and used the WiFi, which suited us just fine.
The room itself was functional but a little meager, which seems equivalent to most European accommodations. The TV was an old CRT, and the mattress was a little older. However, my companion and I slept just fine. The bathroom included a bidet, for those who are curious, and the shower was a little hard for this American to use without getting water all over the place. The shower head was at the halfway point of the bathtub length-wise, but the shower door only covered half that length. All-in-all, the service was excellent - the manager printed out our Vatican tickets for free. I would definitely stay here again given the level of service, the breakfast, and the proximity to the metro stations. read more
