When I got there she asked if I had an appointment and I told her when I called no one gave me an appointment and told me to just walk in. This review is not about their actual notary services, but rather about the fact that -- during the time of the biggest pandemic since the Spanish Flu of 1918 -- when I showed up to get something notarized, there were 2 employees sitting in the small enclosed space where business is conducted and NEITHER OF THEM WERE WEARING MASKS. I could understand if this had been the case if I had gone to them 2 or 3 months ago, when the facts about how Covid-19 is transmitted were not 100% familiar to most people. But in this day in age, for a company that deals with the public all the time NOT to require its employees to wear masks AT ALL TIMES while in the presence of clients is not only highly irresponsible and completely disrespectful, but also really STUPID and potentially criminal. read more

Really tricky to find on Yelp! The pinpoint says it's located across the street however it is connected to the Valero gas station. The office itself is very small - has 2 desks, some cabinets, and a printer which is about all it is able to fit. There was no wait when I arrived around 11am on a Saturday, and was helped right away. The service was extremely good - the lady and gentleman who helped me were more than helpful and knowledgable and answered all of all my questions. Both employees were very detailed in explaining all of the paperwork and what my next steps would be. Ended up coming here for just a fingerprint scan, and left using a couple more of their services than I had planned to. One of the scariest experiences on Yelp. I called this notary because they said they were 24/7. No one answered but immediately called me back from caller ID. I asked for the fees to do mobile. I asked if they took checks. She said yes. Then she said they take cards but they have to charge me tax. I said that wasn't right and she said she doesn't charge the tax that her credit card does it. I told her again I didn't think that was right and we hung up. **NOW FOR THE SCARY PART** This woman had the nerve to call me back and start to threaten me. It was hard to understand what she was saying but from what I heard was that I better watch out because I don't know who I'm talking to and I can't tell her how to run her business. I told her that it's not ok for her to call my phone back because our call had ended and I did not ask for her services. I told her that it wasn't ok. She yelled a bunch more stuff and hung up. Left because I noticed NO ONE INSIDE the tiny bathroom sized room was wearing a mask, including people coming outside the room!!! They're at the corner of vineland and oxnard, at the Shell gas station. I didn't like their location, super sketchy and parking sucked. Arusyak was super friendly and professional.
