I somehow managed to grow up pretty close to Almazett, love Lebanese food, but only recently…read moreactually went in for a meal. It's slightly out of the way and not amongst any other nighttime restaurants, but definitely worth looking for. We started with the meat cigars and stuffed vine leaves, then shared an enormous grilled fish that was more than enough for us two hungry people, and wrapped up with baklava and yummy Turkish coffee. We enjoyed everything, except the pine nuts really overpowered the fish and after a while that was all we could taste. Even so, we had a great late-night dining experience for a reasonable price considering the quantity and quality of the food we were served. The staff were extremely friendly and did not make us feel the slightest bit rushed although we were the last to leave. I'd love to come back here with a large group some day.

Fair warning that sitting in a restaurant surrounded by these tantalising, exotic beauties definitely improved by food appreciation more than any illuminated fish tank or origami vegetable cuttings. So the food. It is amazing. Primarily because of value and only to a tiny degree less on quality. I always get the Mezza which is 30 dishes of pretty much everything Lebanese cuisine could ever have claimed to cook. I'm big enough to be a bouncer and I can never even finish half of it. The Lebanese sausages, fish with tahini sauce, chicken cinnamon rice and FILO fingers are my favourites. The coffee and dessert is as good as it gets. $42 for all u can eat and BYO for $5 a bottle. Best Lebanese restaurant I have been to anywhere in the world and with that many courses just find the ones you like and they will keep bringing it out until you're rolling on the floor begging for your mama. I knew it would be so good I deliberately planned a 3km walk there and back. Are you convinced to come here yet? I'll be back within two weeks.

Great for families and friends who want to share a few dishes in a casual (think: fast food) environment. It's certainly not going to win any decor or ambience prizes, but I like the family-friendly atmosphere and it hit the spot when I needed lunch in a short time frame. Order and pay at the counter and then take your wooden spoon table number and set up at one of the many tables. I shared two mixed plates of mezze (felafel, kibbeh and other fried morsels), salads (super fresh fattoush and tabbouli) and dips with Miss 3 and my favourite +1. The mix and match approach to this style of dining is great when you're trying to please varying tastes and appetites. I could have lived with less of the fried pastry-like mezze and more of the felafel so next time will specify which mezze we want rather than leaving the selection to the server. I'll also be trying out the lebanese pizzas. Starting at a mere $1 and constantly being made in full-view of the floor. Pro tip: Grab a bottle of hot sauce from the water/cutlery
