If I could, I would not even give one star. I have filed a complaint with the New Orleans airport about this experience. This was hands-down the worst experience I have ever had with a taxi cab driver, and it is a prime example of why Uber, and other such ride services Have so severely impacted the taxi industry. Even though he was supposed to (based on what we were told at the airport) he did not want to take a credit card and he charged nine dollars over the fare he was supposed to charge. We always tip at least $10 and so he would've gotten more than that if he had not been so awful. He did not know where our hotel was and wanted me to put the details into his cell phone . When he learned that it was on a closed off street he forced my mother and I out of the taxi in the middle of a busy street with all of our luggage at 10 pm rather than taking us to the back entrance or even pulling over to the side so that we didn't have to get out in the middle of the street and have traffic stopped while we tried to navigate three suitcases and a strange place where we had no idea where our hotel was .He was incredibly rude and cruel to my 85-year-old mother. He should not be allowed to pick up at the New Orleans airport. read more

Why I will NEVER use Arabi Cab again... I don't mind waiting. The waiting isn't the problem. If I have to wait over an hour, the least they could do is give a curtsey call, that way I can find another way to get to my exam. But to keep telling me that someone is coming and no one shows up is unacceptable. To not answer your phone is unacceptable. Twice this cab almost made me miss an important exam. Twice I was lucky to find another ride in the nick of time. I gave you guys a second chance. Never again. read more

This Cab company is the worst in St. Bernard Parish . My mother called them to go to the urgent care . She is 82 years old and has to use a walker because she has two bad knees and can hardly walk. So the driver arrives and does not even get out to open her door and help her and he just sits there and watches her struggle to get in and fold up her walker. Same thing when they arrive at the urgent care she had to struggle herself and get out the car and open her own locker this is the worst company in St. Bernard Parish do not use them. I just saw today that there is a new taxi cab company in St. Bernard Parish . The name is Best Cab. and their number is 504-271-3311. I was told by a neighbor that they are very friendly and helpful you don't have to struggle and open your own door and fold up your own walker with this company.Arabi Cab. went down after the owner got sick and left it to a couple that was running it and did not know what they were doing .it is garbage It does not even deserve 1/2 of a star read more

Horrible service. Hardly ever answer the phone, say they will be there in 15 mins n never show up. Cars r forever dirty and smelly. Drivers are never friendly nor presentable and I notice they take the long way just to have a higher fare n get more money. Do not do not do not ever use this company! I never will again! read more

Get a ride with anyone else. ANYONE. A stranger in a white van, if you have to. I have been aggravated by these unprofessional people several times. I have been made late for work by them several times. I've never encountered a cab company that needs 45 minutes to get to you. When they arrive, consider yourself lucky if the cabs don't smell like rotten fish. Knowing that they take forever to arrive anywhere, I called tonight at 10:00 pm to order a cab at Wal-Mart for 10:45. I called at 10:50 and they said he should be arriving any second. At 11:00, I was irate and started trying to call again. I called 32 times and they did not answer. I found out later that is because they have caller ID and were avoiding letting me know whether or not anyone was going to bother to arrive to get me. Really professional, huh??? I went inside of Wal-Mart to use the customer service phone. I called four times and got no answer. I gave up and walked my unhappy ass home. At 11:15 at night, a few blocks from the Ninth Ward of New Orleans. When my foot hit Judge Perez Drive, I watched an Arabi Cab finally roll into Wal-Mart's parking lot. 11:20. I had called an hour and 20 minutes before that to order my cab. Fabulous service, guys. When I got home, I called again. Miraculously, they answered on the first ring. I asked her what in the hell the problem was with that place and when the manager would be there so I could speak with him. She and I started yelling at each other, her main point being that the cab had eventually arrived, and mine being that I'd have rathered sleep at motherfu*king Wal-Mart than even get a FREE ride home from them at that point.. I don't know her name, but to me she is, "The lady who always sounds drunk when I call." The woman refused to even let me speak, just kept yelling that he had gotten there at 10:50, which is total crap. At 10:50 she and I had been on the phone, her assuring me that he would be pulling up any second. She started screeching that she was going to giv the driver my number so he could call me, I kept saying that I had absolutely nothing to say to the driver, I wanted someone who was in charge of that company so that they could take care of whatever the hell had occurred between my call, dispatch and the driver. The driver had proved incompetence, so I had nothing further to say to him. I remember her telling me to open my ears at one point as she repeated something nonsensical that I'd already heard her yell 6 times, but was irrelevant. Something about how it hadn't taken over an hour when the cab was supposed to be there at 10:45, which I'd already responded to by reminding her that I'd ordered the cab at 10:00 pm. She also tried to dispute the fact that I'd seen the cab pull into the parking lot by saying there was more than one cab in the parish. I asked her how I could have possibly confused THE ONE BLUE AND YELLOW ARABI CAB pulling in the almost empty parking lot at 11:20 when I'd been standing out there looking for one since 10:40. She hung up in me when I just started yelling belligerently over her belligerence, since it seemed the only way to make her shut up. Ten minutes later my home phone rang, waking up other people in my house, and it was the driver. I told him that I had absolutely nothing to say to him and thanked him for waking up other people in my house. He started saying he'd been at Wal-Mart at 10:50, and I interrupted him to say that if we couldn't establish the fact that that was total bullshit, the conversation could go no further, as I had been standing out there looking for him and on the phone with his dispatcher at that time. He was slurring, and probably the driver on pills that ANOTHER driver two nights ago was complaining to me about with a slew of F-bombs dropped in. I'm not opposed to curse words, but that man (the driver I had two nights ago) took a call and was shouting the F word every other word and hung up to complain to me about a pill-head coworker, which is great to know, that there's a pilled-up guy just driving people around the parish. Anyway, the driver from tonight slurred a few things at me, I yelled at him that the conversation we were having was pointless, I'd told the dispatcher I didn't want him to call me. He told me, "I don't know what to tell ya, it sounds like you're up shit's creek to me," to which I responded, "Excuse me? I'm up shit's creek? No, asshole, I am HOME, where I WALKED, after you decided not to go get your fare from Wal-Mart." Anyway, I plan to call tomorrow and speak with someone in charge of those two fools. I am calling United Cabs in New Orleans tonight to ask if they drive to St. Bernard to get fares. I will pay extra to avoid using Arabi Cab again. Or I will walk, or sleep wherever the hell I am. I refuse to use them again, and encourage all of you to call ANYONE ELSE. read more
