I was very specific in what I needed and wanted accomplished, to the extent I sent detailed information, links to visuals of desired (type) work and video of similar projects. Although reminded of the info, I'm not confident that the owner ever took the time to review the information sent. There seems to be very little upfront planning or preparation on his part. The work was not as expected in any way. The owner also had issues with his team, which diminished in size (number) during the work effort. There were scheduling issues and last minute cancellations on planned days of work as well. My desire was to create a Rustic (Faux) Beam, concealing water pipes, and replacing a sheetrock wall and the frame of a mirror with a Finished look of wainscoting and trim. The end result was Crude, poorly aligned, unfinished (no caulking of seams, etc.) and more akin to the appearance of an outdoor "shed". There was little to no prep to cover/ protect floors, nor the exposed porcelain fixtures. There were clean-up issues from the home entry point to the actual work space. Needeless to say, Not pleased, especially for the time, effort and financial investment made.

Then shut down business for a couple of years and started up again. Georgia offers no help for homeowners, laws need to be enacted that protect the property owner against unscrupulous builders. We ended up building the house ourselves out of pocket. We had no money to hire attorney, we were told by our lender who referred this builder because her husband worked with him. He would deliver materials my husband would sign off on draw then when we left he came back and took the materials to a different job site. Bait and switch. The support beams did not even sit on the foundation pilings. some of the beams were just hanging. He hired people with no building experience and just left them at the site. Never tried to correct anything. Argued that They were fine. Then after he drew out all the construction money without our knowledge pulled out competely leaving us with bills all over town where he leased equipment IN OUR NAME. We thought equipment was his and he would be back for it. then we got the bill, we were so shocked. Runs a scam. Not a reputable builder. I could say more but it still burns me to this day.
