Also when you have a bigger truck with bigger tires your revolutions are different as well. Lidars , well, they aren't always accurate when scanning more than one vehicle on the road it's a grab all situation. I was paying attention to the road going at speed of other drivers in traffic. So I was pretty confused when I was pulled over. However, when I was speaking to the officer about all these items, he was very professional, completely exemplary in his interaction with me. I was thankful he told me to please slow down a bit and I am thankful he brought my speed to my attention. Officer Mathenae was trying to keep me safe and other people safe as well. I am extra appreciative of not getting a citation for going 6 miles above the limit.

I'm very thankful to Jessica Smith of the Littleton Police as she was able to research and found that there was actually a lady there with my name and same birth year. Her last name though had one less letter than mine so Home Depot had mixed it up. I was so relieved it was not identity fraud and I did not have to change my bank accounts. I called last week and gave the lady a pretty good laugh. Here is what I read to her, "Records indicate you were arrested and/ or fingerprinted for Marijuana on or about 2/3/00. DPS was unable to determine if you are awaiting trial. While the nice lady tried every which way to find me, she couldn't. The only thing that bothers me is that I have to pay for the proof that I'm not wanted/awaiting trial. I feel like they could just email the same thing for free.

I asked to be connected to the Cherry Hills Village Police Dept. An officer met us, took down info, and notified two other officers in the area. They were professional yet sympathetic. After checking out the surrounding area, the officer sent info to be broadcast to other police departments and emergency personnel. Within the hour my husband was located & checked out by emergency personnel. I was able to pick him up and end the nightmare. The lead officer kept in constant contact with us and kept us informed during the entire time. The officer's decision to broadcast a "be on the lookout for" is what I believe led to the safe return of my husband. I am very grateful to all who helped.
