I like this place. It's full of all of my favorite things, Liquor, Soda, Ice and Men. It's like a dream whenever I come here. They have a few selections that I have not seen in other local Liquor/Beverage stores. But they are also missing two of my favorites (Carlo Rossi:Sweet Red Wine and a Pink Moscato that I like). Now I did not check with the cashier this time, so it is possible that they were just out of those two items today. All is good though. I really like this spot so I will come back here again. They carry Galliano Liqueur (Yeah Liquer not Liquor. It's fancy!). Galliano has a sweet herbal taste. My mom uses it to make her famous BBQ Sauce. Oh yeah. Did I mention that this is like a freaking Warehouse????? It's huge and the prices are okay. read more

Hands down, the best liquor store in Douglasville; definitely the biggest. They've got an awesome selection of liquor, beer, wine, and other related goodies. The associates are always pretty friendly when I'm in, and are usually more than happy to help me find what I'm looking for. read more

In douglasville there are several decent liquor stores but this one is the tops. When i lived in D-ville, before i ventured out to better liquor shops around town, this was the place to get hooch. First, its clean and not cluttered. I hate nothing more than having to dance around boxes and stacks of $3 vodka to get to whatever i happen to be looking for. The staff is generally knowledgeable and always friendly. They have really stepped up in the last few years to make this place better. Of course they carry the usual selection of cheap booze for illegal highschool parties but where this place really shines (for me atleast) is in the whisky department. A lot of lesser "package" stores don't really stock good brown liquor. Aside from Jack and Crown there is usually nothing remotely interesting. This place really does a good job with stocking some really nice single malt scotchs and american whiskys at good prices. They're a little higher than places like total wine but what do you expect when your 25 miles or more from proper civilization way out I-20. The one thing that keeps me going to this place when i go to visit the fam however, is the beer selection. In the last two or so years they've done an excellent job of expanding beyond the D-ville staples of domestic light beers and coronas. They stock some of the best and most obscure craft and import brews you can imagine. From top end Belgians to weird Scottish barrel aged beers I can almost always find something new, although its usually the dusty bottle tucked way back behind the stuff that no one else would ever buy. So there's maybe a handful of package stores here in Douglasville, but this one, by far, seems to be the best. They have everything one could need and they are willing to special order for you if it's something that they do not regularly carry in stock (and have the ability to get). It's the opposite side of town from me, but is worth the extra couple miles for sure. read more

I love this place! They have a plethora of interesting beers from all over the world and they offer more wine selections than any other store in town. I wish it was a bit closer to my place, but this place is great. They also have a big selection of liquor. Although I must say that the place needs a bit more organization and aesthetic, but at the end of the day, it's one of my fave 'beverage' store. read more

I agree, there is nothing here in Douglasville, which makes this place stand out. They do have a lot of specialty beers ( which is why I give 3 stars otherwise a much less score ) but the owners are very greedy. Everything in the place is marked up a great deal. I can drive up to Marietta and find ANYTHING for a ton cheaper and I often do. For example at the time of this review you can find a pack of tenfity beer in Marietta for around $13, At Arbor $16. You can buy a 750 ml bottle of Jameson in Marietta for $19-$21, Arbor Package $28. Glenlivet $26 in Marietta, $40 at Arbor. You get the idea. Even the employees at Arbor Package have complained that the owners are greedy and price everything too high. I have gone down the street for scotch on many occasion because of this. But again, here in Douglasville the cultural sink hole of South East Atlanta, you only have so many options. read more

This place has a great selection of craft beer and good liquor. However, be forewarned the customer service is horrible. This was my recent experience: I was checking out, and asked the owner to split a payment. He told me I shouldn't make things so complicated and told me to go to an atm. After explaining to him how easy it was he finally agreed to do it. He then jerked my card out of my hand and mumbled curse words under his breath the whole time. He shorted me my change from the cash I used, and then proceeded to tell me and I quote, "f**k you; you can take your business elsewhere." This has been my go to liquor store for well over a year. I will no longer be giving them my business and I hope you won't either. read more

Decent selection of beers as Douglasville goes, but prices are high and customer service is terrible. Bought some beer that was bad. Tried to take it back after calling microbrewery, which explained I got a rare bad batch. APBD wouldn't exchange it for new six-pack but told me to call their beer distributor. Distributor arranged for sales guy to drop me off a new six pack at APBD and when I picked it up two weeks later, manager was highly condescending, blaming me for the bad beer and acting like he didn't want my business. APBD has been my go-to store for beer for years. As the distributor pointed out, 99% of package stores would have traded out my bad beer without pushing it off on distributor in the first place. APBD probably loses more beer a day from bottles breaking than my one six pack that probably cost them $5. I will never go back after this experience - better prices and service at stores around the corner who actually appreciate your business. read more
