We tried Kyushu Grill for the first time on a Saturday night. It's next door to Top Nails and Nothing Bundt Cakes in a shared plaza lot with free parking. You can dine in or carry out. They have a mobile ordering kiosk as well as cashiers available to place your order. We opted to place our order at the counter and received fast service! I highly recommend the hibachi shrimp if you want an entree with seafood and packed with flavor. I liked the vegetables that were included with it (broccoli, carrots , zucchini and onions) as well as the fried rice. We tried the spring rolls, crab rangoons, & gyoza (chicken dumplings) for appetizers. I liked the dumplings and included sauce but probably wouldn't order the ragoons again because it was not as crispy as I like & needed more seasoning. I did appreciate the filling ratio and that it was not just cream cheese inside. Each appetizer came out fresh and hot but I felt the spring rolls were the perfect texture and best seasoned of the three options we tried. My favorite appetizer was the spring roll. My husband had the spicy miso ramen for his entree and noted that it had great flavor. The Katsu chicken was crispy and served on the side. While eating, I noticed the staff constantly checking the dining area and keeping the area clean & stocked as guests departed. The decor was pretty & their branding was consistent on their cups, to go bags and napkin holders. Overall, the food and overall experience was good. I'll come back again! read more

First impression visit on a saturday evening around 6:00PM. Located in a plaza in a suite. Free parking lot. I got the Miso ramen with chicken and the crab ragoon with a passionfruit tea. The total was $30.44 after tax. Pros No need to pay for add ons! Ramen automatically comes with toppings. And the ramen was delicious. The noodles were good and the broth was nice and flavorful. The passionfruit tea was perfect - not too watery and not too sweet. Cons There is not a lot of seating. This would not be ideal for large parties. Would I Recommend: Yes! Good food for great prices. I have nothing bad to say about this establishment! While we did end up taking our food to go, the inside is nice and quaint with a super cute atmosphere! The food was delicious! And the prices almost felt like we were stealing! The teriyaki chicken box was $12! It came with teriyaki chicken, sautéed veggies and two scoops of rice! They bring the order to you on a nice serving tray, which was a cute touch. I ordered Tonkatsu beef Ramen. The presentation was beautiful. It had all of the right components. The flavor was a little lacking, the beef was a bit chewy for my liking, and the egg was just ok. That could just be my preference. Overall, it was a solid bowl of Ramen. I found this little restaurant after my physical therapy appointment ended and we searched out for some lunch. We ended up here in the small little restaurant inside of a strip mall on Chapel Hill Rd. It was small but cute on the inside and gave you the option to order at a kiosk upon entering or walking up to the counter. My granddaughters love the fruit teas. The portions are generous for the price. We find everything to be tasty, from the shrimp to the chicken hibachi. I tried the noodles for the first time instead of fried rice on my entrée and they were really good. They do have the Ramen, which has many options to choose from and my granddaughters have had those as well and seem to enjoy them. Now you're not going to get Ramen in my opinion anywhere near the more upscale restaurants that we patron like E Ramen in Atlanta, but it is good for a local Ramen. I definitely give them a try if you're in the mood for a quick hibachi or Ramen or even just to grab a milk or fruit tea. I ordered the gyoza, katsu chicken and a bowl of ramen with tempura shrimp. I ordered online and I like the fact that you can fine tune your order, omit items you don't want: boiled egg, green onion, corn, bean sprout, nori. I ordered takeout but stepping into the establishment, it's nice and clean. All tables were full when I picked up my order (on a Sunday afternoon). We've been wanting to try this place since it opened. The best thing was the smoothie. You walk in and order at the counter. Seating is very limited. The service was good, with kind caring employees. We just had to wait for a seat after ordering and then our food came out. We all ordered a different dish to try different things. The fried dumplings were good. New, much needed Japanese takeout in Douglasville, in the plaza next to Firehouse behind the mall. Inside you can order on the kiosk or at the counter. They have ramen, yakisoba noodles, various Japanese inspired appetizers and an abundant variety of boba type drinks, teas with milk and tapioca and frozen drinks. Although I didn't have any of the specialty drinks I did have the yakisoba noodles with chicken and the egg fried rice. I chose to dine in at one of the 6-8 tables. The food was AMAZING! It came out fast and fresh and was served on the cutest tray and dishes. The noodles were cooked perfectly and you can tell the veggies were fresh. The rice was semi sticky and cooked perfectly. I didn't need any condiments since everything was seasoned just right! I enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the quality chopsticks they provided. Food tastes fresh. Diverse staffing, and nicely decorated. I have gone twice and from what I gather, they are consistent with the quality and taste of the food. They do seem to not always have all the different types of noodles presented on the menu, but I enjoyed what was available. read more
